This is the first time I heard Raul sing without the Mavericks. This man's voice is phenomenal. I knew he was a great singer but this is beyond greatness if there is such a thing. God has truly Blessed Raul with a phenomenal voice
I will be 81 in a few weeks and in all of my years listening to many great great singers I have never heard anyone who was better than Raul, I have been a fan of Raul when he performs solo and also when he performs with the Mavericks for a great number of years, it is very rare when someone as talented and professional as he comes along.
Like the story of the drunks leaving. It doesn't matter what language raul sings. His voice gives me chills. I been a fan since his country albums that reminded me of Roy orbison.
My son listened to the Maverick’s. He loved to hear Raul Mail sing. I have been listening to him a lot since my son passed away Jan. 18, 2021, and his wife passed away 12 days later so by listening to him sing I feel like my son is here listening too.
Raul Malo has the most beautiful male singing voice I have ever heard ❤ I grew up listening to The Mavericks. His artistic and vocal transformation since the beginning is inspirational 👏

Well put! My girlfriend and I seen him live in NYC 3yrs. ago and he/they were fabulous. I only wish I knew they were playing at Darryl's House as we only Liv 12 miles away in CT.

He has one of those immediately identifiable voices that no one ever confuses for someone else. I saw the Mavericks at a small, converted movie theater in Knoxville, TN years ago but I've never heard him sing alone and I love it. I need to find another Mavericks concert soon. Beautiful!

What a treat to get to see and hear Raul perform solo like that he has no rivals in the world of music. I don't remember what year it was but I saw him in Indianapolis opening a John Prine concert as a last minute fill in. What a show he put on just him and his guitar. We gave him multiple standing ovations everybody was blown away by his talent and the more we cheered the more he poured it out. Incredible would have been an understatement. By the end of his performance John Prine and his band were standing at the side of the stage checking it all out and the whole crowd was on their feet clapping and cheering for Raul then it happened, John Prine sent him back out to play an encore. I swear it was electric who ever heard of that happening, the last minute fill in to open the show received multiple standing ovations and played an encore for a crowd that mostly had no idea the talent they were getting ready to witness. Thanks for sharing this video Raul Malo is truly one of a kind! And now here we are faced with everything we ever worked for and believed in being taken from us by the people who stole control of our money and keep their faces hidden because everything is a big secret from the people of America. Understand we do all the work, we pay all the bills and we fight all the wars when the blood gets spilled so we can be treated like subjects and slaves by a handful of no talent freeloaders who want to strip us of our natural born rights and replace them with privileges allowed by the AUTHORITY of the GOD they created in their own image. They destroy everything they touch look what they did to the music industry they exploited and choked the life right out of it. Look at what they did to our money we supposedly owe 31 trillion dollars to the biggest scam of all time. The value of money is your labor. In our Republic Legal Tender isn't money and it isn't legal it's debt. Open your eyes and look at the big picture while you still can. It's your life it belongs to you and you have every right to make your own choices and decisions. Our rights came to us by the laws of Nature and of Nature's God not by any GOVERNMENT. The only authority our Government has rests with our will to Govern ourselves as free men and women. It's time to take back our Republic and the control of our own money and run the impostors out of Washington. We haven't come this far to fail now freedom and liberty can't survive if we don't defend ourselves from our attackers.

His performance 8-13-2021 at saratoga california winery was fabulous, what a beyond words band, they had the outside venue rocking from beginning to end. Rauls voice demands that more albums be produced and more radio air time be scheduled so more people can become aware of this fantastic talent.

Here, my friends, is the sexiest man alive. Clooney? Pitt? DiCaprio? NEVER. It's Raul. And I've had the privilege of sitting closest to the stage at The Saxon Pub in Austin. Lord, have mercy, he leaves me breathless. If I had to hear every word I ever hear again in only one voice - whether songs, conversation, commercials, news -bad or good, audiobooks, invitations, admonitions, sermons, singing telegrams, voicemail messages - it would be his. I listen to this amazing creature every single day.
