Dark Furies / Corvid Jump pack gives 14" base movement range, meaning +3" for charge. Corax has 2 pistol shots, his weapons count as two SEPARATE weapons with identical profiles.
the banner was a 50/50 greenstuff milliput mix and time mate, though nowadays id cut it out of plasticard and use a lighter to heat the plastic so it could be bent into shapes
Good battle report guys, damn that was a quick one😳just wondering if you would have use your tyrant siege terminators differently?looking forward to the next👍
err the tyrants specifically i think did fine, bouncing that fury squad was big for the game i think I think tbh i shouldnt have wrapped the spartan, either let it be destroyed or driven the command squad or 10 man tarty squad forwards, plus nor wrapping wouldve allowed the seekers to be more useful....
Deliverers from the Exemplary Battles pdf look tasty, if you haven't seen those yet. They've got a similar niche to Dark Furies, but give up speed and initiative for significantly more survivability (particularly when Loyalist).
James Seems to think it’s not 100% and is going to wait for a clarification apparently, I’d lean that it’s two shots tbh but i suppose if he wants to not have a second shot he doesn’t HAVE to shoot it 🤷♂️
Thanks mate! The recon units are a mix of atone scouts and random armour marks which I then put the old catachan jungle fighter arms on (id been watching predator at the time I made them haha) For the sniper rifles I used mor deythan bolters but tbh I’d recommend converting bolters with brass rod as they break all the time
Tuned up heresy lists with primarchs vs fluff lists *yawn* people want to see balanced close games guys this isn’t it. Heresy is not itc ranked competitive 40k or if you want to lean in both of you should but otherwise it’s just tune in for a tabling. And I do appreciate you taking the time to produce well edited battle reports and beautiful armies, I’m just trying to give some constructive feedback. Also I’m sure it’s an honest mistake but no night fighting in this scenario. It mattered.
Won’t be like this in general mate, though if I’ve filmed a game I’ll be posting it and these is one of those (If you want to hear our thoughts on how heresy should be played go check episodes of the road to terra podcast or look at what we did in the past for the Melos events series of which the rule pack is here drive.google.com/drive/folders/1i4CONVAhnO1veTNICwvDVAHRBc6sJln8 You’ll prob agree it’s narrative based) The thing is atm it’s hard to balance stuff, other than the demise of tanks the meta is all over and the swings in the game are so far by just getting lists slightly off we’ve found: so far me and Phil taking what we’d take in 1.0 was a tabling, Leggy then tabled me off camera and then it was a “close” by the score but really a smashing of me in game 2 where other than dreads they were relatively balanced lists, then here I’ve played pride and been tabled…
I’d hardly call the Raven Guard list “Tuned up” It honestly looks like the kind of raiding force that Corax would be leading after Isstvan. On top of that, this was a tame IW list compared to what I’ve seen others take lately. Despite Corax being on the board, I definitely didn’t feel like he singlehandedly made an obscene difference in this game. Out of all the channels posting games lately, I really enjoy Bearfoot’s style of play. I’d just like to see more line of sight blocking terrain on the board, but everything still looks awesome!
@@PandorableMae Thanks! I was going for a really fast force like you mentioned to go with Corax. I think the Deredeao doesn't really fit that after the game so dropped it (felt out of place in the list). But glad it didn't feel as "ITC 40k" to everyone like the first comment suggested. ❤️
