The bettings odds are the way they are because simply put, Lamar chokes in the post season. It’s not bias to say this. Because we’ve seen it year in and year out. Despite the fact that his team has always been good. Since he has been in the league his team literally has had a top 3 defense almost every year and a very good o line and run game. This is what Russ had and he at least won a Super Bowl and made it to two. Lamar is good, great even, but when crunch time comes and teams force him to throw the ball he just can’t. I used to play a lot of CoD and Lamar is what I’d call a pubstomper. Dominate in public games but if he switches to competitive play he is simply just average

Lamar was already Canton bound before this season. Whats funny is despite the 5 INT's that the Ravens had from San Francisco, the 49ers had plenty of time to come back and tie it especially if Darnold threw another TD in the remaining 3 minutes. Niners had all 3 timeouts+ 2 min warning js. Its not like the 49ers werent able to move the ball on that defense. They just couldnt score and had insanely bad luck with the tipped passes. Miami on the other hand was straight up thrashing.

What's weird to me is that everyone is so completely ignoring the fact that the Ravens are getting a crazy amount of turnovers creating points and short fields. If you want to believe they will do that to everyone in the playoffs then so be it, but I think smart analysis would be looking at the real question which is what will they do when the run game isn't working and they aren't given extra possessions and easy drives? What makes it weirder is that's all Brou asks about the Cowboys and that's all Nick asks about the 49ers. But with the Ravens it's not even a convo. Ravens have shown to win the same way all these other teams do...as front runners. If the defense has a bad day then I'll be interested to see how the offense responds. And don't give me the Rams game...that defense has like 20 rookies.

I believe the ravens offense can get it done through the air. The last two games have mainly been passing plays being called early and then leaning on the run when we got a big lead the key to stopping Lamar is the opposing D line having to play amazing because of his ability to extend plays and in the AFC the only team that looks like they can do that is the browns

People reading too much into Ravens last couple of games. Miami was injured and is really only half a team because the defense ain’t there. 49ers had an unusual TO differential but otherwise had little trouble moving the ball. CMC had 7.4 ypc. Purdy didn’t even finish the game and had more yards and ypa than Lamar.

I wish Nick stop saying that, are they paying him to keep bringing that up the what if he loses in the first round? We all know all the what if he does lose or win so it’s like he’s hoping he doesn’t win a sb because of mahomes. No. The 9ers blasted themselves. The freak number of turnovers is what turned the game. 5 turnovers and the 9ers lost by 14? That isn't "blasting." 105+ yds of penalties? That isn't "blasting." The 9ers had more rushing and passing yards. It was the turnovers. It was strange. They won. Fair in square. No one is arguing that. And let me calm down the "nobody respects us, woe is us" Bmore fans: the Ravens are excellent and Lamar is fantastic. But to qualify that meeting as a "blasting?" Come on. I mean, I suppose it doesn't matter. But that was demonstrably an off-game for the 9ers.

Lame excuses like always. The 49ers got demolished and their fan base is delusional. Purdy sucks. I wonder what lame excuses you'll make for him when he loses in the playoffs. As soon as someone gets a hangnail he'll start throwing the ball to the other team. That's just who he is.

They got blasted. Brock kept putting the ball in harms way and the Ravens weren’t letting him off the hook. It got so bad that Kyle didn’t think it was worth the risk even keeping him out there. Backup came in and threw a garbage time TD and a Pick. Never seen somebody try and explain away 5 picks.

I'm a bills fan but the ravens beat the niners 31 to 19 with 5 interceptions. With slight adjustments, the 49ers beat the ravens in my opinion

The Niners and Purdy had a bad game against the Ravens but they were still in the game after all the mistakes they made. I doubt a rematch has the same results. Not that the Ravens cant beat the Niners but its was not a good example of these teams. Niners are in a weaker division and with basically 2 bye weeks should enter the playoffs very healthy.

Just checked, Andrews return still possible. If he comes back it’s gonna be a ravens Super Bowl win (given no other major injuries). They might need one win without him, but if they get past that game and get him back for the AFC championship I think they make it to the big one.
