The possibility of that would definitely give me pause. Much like the reverse limb mounting on other xbows.

@@dashippo As long as you check the screws, strings and the limbs (So basically, if you have eyes) the chances of that happening are pretty slim

Im guessing the bolt is downrange before the inertia from the limbs relaxing lifts the crossbow in recoil.

Noticeable in the slow-motion footage. You'd have to shoot it to see what impact it would have on accuracy though

@@willc3384 from physics point of view, there is no real delay between the force caused by limb movement and the rest of the crossbow. The altitude of movement is for sure dependent from weight and speed ratio. I guess, the difference of height of impact at let’s say 20 yards between fixed position on a table and free hand shooting will be about 0.5 inch. Problem can be in case of free hand shooting a variation of stabilization of the bow by supporting hand.

@@rolftittmann3482 I was coming from the perspective of shooting compound bows. by the time the limbs are fully extended, the arrow is leaving the string. There is, perhaps a small window where the inertia of the limbs extending to affect the arrow; but in my experience the arrow is long gone by then. Also there seems to be mostly a force pushing back (into your shoulder) as the arrow leaves the crossbow.
