Any regrets with the etched glass screen? Absolutely loving my deck after having it for 2 weeks. Opted for the glossy but I'm mostly jealous of that removable liner case haha.
Yes. I have a gaming PC so I’ve already purchased (hundreds) of games over the years. When you login to your steam account, your games will show up and it’s just a matter of downloading them. It’s very smooth!
You could play the same game on two different devices at the same time if you put them in offline mode. I guess with the steam deck, that would mean disconnecting the Deck from WiFi, unless it has a built in toggler like the PC Steam app does. They keep you from toggling it into offline mode in Big Picture, for whatever reason. I guess if you went into desktop mode and opened the application there, you might able to toggle it offline if Steam Deck behaves the same.
You could use Clone Zilla to back up your 'Old' Device to an SD Card and then Restore to the 'New' Device- took me an hour each to Backup and Restore a 512 Model to a 1TB etc.
good video dude! I'm glad some people are still enjoying the deck. personally it wasn't for me i traded up for a GPD win mini. i did consider the oled model but ultimately was put off due to it not being a considerable upgrade for my money.
The colors still look great on OLED despite the anti glare, but I can see that being a dealbreaker for some enthusiasts that might want to drop to the 512gb for the pure OLED.
I’ve seen videoes comparing and it’s not noticeable unless you zoom in with a magnifying camera and besides unless you game side by side one without how would you ever know 512gb isn’t enough and no way am I replacing ssd after they made it harder to do without breaking it
