They look good, I still like the Halos more myself. I did the full LED conversion in my Halo headlights and fogs... looks bangin and brightness at night is certainly not an issue. The one issue I do have with the Halos though, is that I get flashed all the time (I'm not talking titties this time) I'm talking flashed by other drivers who think I have my brights on b/c the light isn't aimed very well like the projection headlights are!

The Halo's look great! I still love them. I am not a huge fan of LED conversion lights, just because I want no issues with the cops (California cops are douchbags when it comes to that) So I refrain from drawing too much attention. Maybe try to aim your lights down a little, so they do not distract drivers. But don't get me wrong, I love LED lights and I would get them, I just don't want to get people in trouble lol

I enjoy the simplicity of the guide, and am planning to use this for my car, when I get these lights over the next couple months. I didn't even know how to pull off the bumper properly, until I saw this vid, so thank you. The only criticism I have involves what another user pointed out -- wiring. I've never even messed with electrical wiring before, but after one look at the aftershot of the taped-wiring on these headlights hanging everywhere, I was like "woah -- quite the frankenstein going on here. that can't be right." After about 30 minutes of googling and youtubing, I realized I was right. Heat-shrink butt-connectors, a set of wire crimpers/strippers, and a heat gun, brother. That's all you need.

Very informative install. Love the lights. My only complaint is the splicing you did. I prefer soldering them and using heat shrink. Better connection and element resistent.

Looks pretty cool. I'm thinking about just putting white headlights in mine when one of the bulbs burns out. The factory bulbs look so dull on S197s. Orangey and dull.

Yeah I could go over them. For some reason my car isn't aging and I keep it outside since the garage got taken up with a bunch of motorcycles. I have an old beetle in the garage too only thing I can say about garaging a vehicle is it keeps it looking new a heck of a lot longer. I'm lucky that in 2009 Ford used better resins/plastics in their GT emblem and horn badge. I usually keep sun deflectors, chrome ones, under the glass. Man that rear glass is like an enormous magnifying glass! I already burned out two sun defelectors under the thing. Last one I got at the 99cent only store :D so only cost me a buck.

I know, this video is from a year ago. The headlights look great. An interesting mod maybe to replace those big fog lights. Get something the same diameter as the headlamps and mount them in the lower opening flanking air inlet. That'll give your stang a really unique look, until I do it 😉

Nate I'm in the process of swapping my silver factory rims with argent factory rims from an 05-06 with new tires and going to sell the silver rims on craigslist. hopefully everything goes smoothly at the tire place. The only rims I like are argent and shelby cs67's. Well for my car anyway, for others there's rims I like depending on the color of the car, of course black 5 spokes look good on a black car.

Previous owner must have done something to my bumper, I’m missing the bottom two screws entirely (like the whole underside of the bumper) and then one of the two nuts at the top of the bumper was a superglued clip rather than a nut.... and one of the nuts is threaded so bad it is spinning the bolt itself when I’m using the ratchet or the wrench... what a pain 😂

I changed them to have the newest headlights out on the market and as well as cause I couldn't see anything with the Halos. I had to rely on my fog lights to see at night

Yo man....the lights look killer. I was hoping you could answer a question tho. what happens when you turn on your brights? the H7 bulb is a single filament, not dual filament like the H13. One review on AM said there is a moving shroud for high beams. I use OPT7 Fluxbeam LED bulbs in my stang and they are super bright. wondering if the H7 will work.

I thought at first these lights did not come with a light bulb because the reviews says that it uses its factory light bulbs, but it actually came with some! I am not sure what kind of light bulbs these come with, but an upgrade of lights will definitely be a plus! Im pretty sure LED and HID will work with these lights if setup up correctly

Nate Rider I just found out from reading reviews on AmericanMuscle.com that they come with H7 bulbs. Now I want to get the new H7 Micro LED bulbs at VLEDS.com to go with these headlights. They're not out yet but you can pre-order them. They'll be available end of June in case you want to switch to LEDs.

Hey Nate I had a question for you request. I seen a recent video where you swapped out the crappy halogen bulbs for LED on your projector lights. I been debating a while on buying the same lights for my 2012 5.0 . but a bit nervous as I have not seen the led set up on the 2010+ mustangs for those specific lights. Any advice you can give me before I either purchase or don't purchase those lights?

idk much about light conversion tbh. it really depends on your type oh housing and setup. i would just do a bunch of research online

Nate Rider I know on your one video where you swapped the regular h7 for the led . made a huge difference as far as light output. I guess what I should have asked is if you know of anyone who has done the led bulb swap with the 2012 versions of those same lights. Ive tried researching and tbh your channel was the only one that displayed a different bulb set up versus the crappy bulb raxiom provides

Cams would have been my first upgrade when I got my car, but im in California and Emissions testing will not alow me to have aftermarket camshafts. I would love it tho

I just bought the same ones but the shop didn’t wire them right 😔 the driver side won’t turn on now cuz they said it’s too much power and I need a re director? Do yours still work just fine?
