I saw this one night when I was really young after my mom had fallen asleep! Truly terrified me and I never forgot about watching it. I can't believe I found it years later! Watching it now, I can respect the author's ability and skill in writing a scary story. Thanks for uploading this!
One of the best episodes in the series. I plan on buying the series. I've never seen them in video stores around here, but I know they're online. I can't believe the entire series is only like $8. Vondur, thank you posting these. Brings me back to my childhood. They used to run these on WXXA after Tales From The Darkside, and then on The USA Network in the late 80s. I agree with the top comment. I wish TV was this cool again
Really? That is so awesome. I loved this show and I used to watch it all of the time as a kid. I came to this video to pay my respects to Mr. Bradbury. He will be missed. Thank you for everything Mr. Bradbury.
Oh MAN this episode freaked me OUT when I was a kid. It still haunts me. Damned spooky stuff man. I never realized it was William Shatner in the lead role until just now, nice.
Ahhh, I remember being a 80's cable TV child: Drama: Darkroom-->Tales from the Darkside-->Ray Bradbury Theater Comedy: You Can't Do That on Television-->Turkey TV-->Hey Dude! For whatever reason, my parents didn't allow me to watch SCTV or Tales from the Crypt but Not Necessarily the News was OK, ???.
It is indeed a sinister episode, but Bradbury is committed to "the truth," and here he's telling us that real life holds genuine terror for everyone including, and especially, children.
