I found this beautiful country song and the singer through fb postings and i like it so much that i'm listening to it many times. Thanks Ray for this awesome song. I won't get tired listening to your music..❤
Have loved this mans voice for over 40 years. A true gentle, gentleman. Easily the best country singer Ireland has EVER produced. Good luck Ray for many more years of magical music. Thank you.
I lost my beautiful wife on February 8th 2022, and while this song meant a lot to us before her death , it resonates more so now. Thank you Ray for this lovely rendition. Love you for ever Eleanor. 💔
What a rendition of this fine song. Ray has a great voice, as good as when I danced to the Hillbillies in the Olympic Ballroom in Dublin, all those years ago. Kevin Sheerin and the band are still excellent. Ray deserved to be a superstar, conquering the world.
He's as good now as when I used to go to see him live 40 years ago. It's not many you can say that about. We both had a good bit more hair those times. :)
One of a very few real country stars in Ireland at the minute, with over forty years professional experience he is still at the top of his game, notice how he only uses the best in the business to back him, he gets better with age! so here's to another forty Ray!
@@toothfairy788494 l totally agree with you. I love The great Mick Flavin then Ray Lynham. Two wonderful lrish singers .l might be a little biased as l am lrish myself and proud of my lrish roots and lreland. LOVE them BOTH. ELIZABETH in SCOTLAND ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
@@toothfairy788494 l am lrish myself but I live in SCOTLAND now, but l totally agree with you on Mick Flavin, @ Ray Lynham. I ABSOLUTELY love them BOTH. ELIZABETH ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
My sister loves Ray and saw him many times in the 80’s . I’ve just found this. He is so great he really is amazing. Smile if it kills you is my favourite 🥰
FANTASTIC>>>>> Ray you are as good as the first time i heard your voice woow ..What a singer Irelands best years ago. Here he is to day and still as good as ever .. Keep it up Ray thank you for all the lovely songs you have sung thank you .... West Of Ireland music lover .............
I had the pleasure of seeing him and Philomena Begley several times at the Silk Cut Festivals at Wembley Arena in the 80ies. If that couple came to Nashville back then, George and Tammy would have had serious competition.
Back in the 80s didn’t have too much time for many Country acts but always felt Ray Lynam had that very special country voice more than any other, shame he seems to be forgotten in the current country revival.
Ray is still as good today as he was way back then it is great to hear him today. The one song that Ray sung that i love it @ and it sounds so beautiful •
Lyrics You got to walk a little slower when you're with her Take the time to be tender, that's the plan You got to stand a little taller while her world falls to pieces Only then can you hold her in your hand You got to live for every moment that she gives you Make her one in a million understand You got to stand a little taller while her world falls to pieces Only then can you hold her in your hand Now too many faces have come down between us And I was the fool to be And I can't deny you the wide open spaces As long as she stops loving me You got to stand a little closer when you hold her Make her feel like a woman , understand You got to stand a little taller while her world falls to pieces Only then can you hold her in your hand
I love these too however I cannot find one song which I adore and is a brilliant song and that's silver sandles by Ray Lytham and phillmenia beggley what a beautiful song wish I could find it
