"When the Music's Over" is an epic rock song by American rock band The Doors from their second album Strange Days, released in September 1967. #WhenTheMusicOver #Live #JimMorrison
This is one one of the best bands in the world, ever.....! 😮😊 ., period....,. You got to understand they did all this in ... literally pretty much like 3 years....❤😮....xx
Well…they did many things with in 3 years just that this song 🎵 was recorded in 1967. It’s found on the Strange Days Lp which was released in 1967. But being performed live no doubt was an amazing performance and experience.
The doors? In my opinion they were totally awesome! This is my second favorite doors song! Jim i was a excellent poet! He did whatever he wanted to do whenever he sang he just let it all come out! No matter what the consequences were, Jim Morrison was Jim Morrison! There will never be another Jim Morrison! Rest in peace my friend! The music's over! ❤❤❤
Morrison for having NO experience, is just a talent that was so good. I realize this was pre drunken boredom , but he was so GOOD!!! No one can scream with Morrison, nobody!!!!
Elvis might’ve been known as the King of Rock & Roll, but no one ever recorded something like this like the Doors. No one has sang anything like this like Jim Morrison. Robby Krieger’s Psychedelic guitar break is totally awesome. This gave new meaning to Psychedelic music with this song because it was taken to another dimensional level. This particular performance took place in 1970 in New York, City. In 1980 I had the 8 Track to this performance. It was entitled, “The Doors Live in New York, City. The Doors were beginning to tour once again in America because they had been banned from many places due to the Miami incident in 1969. This certainly was a great concert and the Doors were back.
My theme song for the 1992 Sea Shepherd Conservation Society at the Union Bay dry dock pier. Two successful drift net removals. No injuries. Many turtles, whales, and birds saved. Many of the best people in the world were there.
So right. They were incredibly tight and they all worked so well together. I've never thought Morrison would have been as good with different musicians.
Robby’s guitar 🎸 skills and Psychedelic 😵💫 Break are outta this world 🌎. He’s very underrated for a guitarist that has an exceptional talent with his playing. He should be in the same league with Eric Clapton,Jeff Beck, and Jimi Hendrix. This certainly was a great concert 🎵.
Although the video is taken from Danish TV from the 1968 Door's European tour, the sound is from Absolutely Live album taped on Jan 17 and 18, 1970 at the Felt Forum, NYC.
Recorded just 3 days after Morrison was hospitalized after collapsing on stage while dancing to Jefferson Airplane's set. The musicianship of all the band members is just amazing.
This video is messed up. It was a live performance with no audience, yet piped in fans, also his vocals have been altered. Sorry attempt to edit the real performance which was awesome. And no he did not say Shut Up. What a crying shame how this video is completely altered and mixed with other out takes.
Powerful Soul Searching Lyrics as with many of the Doors songs. The Line "Save Us, Jesus, Save Us" is often cut out of most of the version found online. It's nice to find the original here.
