This is my "signature" karaoke song, and I ham it up just like Ray does, complete with a camo cap for "The Witness", and a "Whizzer Whistle" too!!! KNOCKS THE HOUSE DOWN!!!

This song is just brilliant. My wife has loved it since age 2 when it came out in the UK in 1974. One of the first songs she ever remembers asking to be played repeatedly! On behalf of the UK we would like to apologise to Ray for the very poor reaction, silence and zero laughter from the (stuffed?) audience when he performed this LIVE on Top of the pops in 1974. Great performance and didn’t deserve that! Amazed he is still with us- just found all these videos including the COVID song he did in 2020. Brilliant

The legendary entertainer singing his worldwide hit "The Streak". Has anyone ever seen him in concert before? I've seen Ray in concert three times...once in Renfro Valley, KY; another concert in Nashville, IN; and the most recent was at his CabaRay showroom in Nashville, TN in March 2018.

It's as good as it was when it first came out. He does it so well.

Other than Weird Al, I can't think of another novelty singer who's had such a long, successful career. Good on him - I've listened to Ray Stevens since I was very little and never really stopped.

Song brings back memory of being in "The Lost Knight" lounge in Bakersfield CA, 1973, when this guy comes "streaking" through with nothing on but paper sack over his head.... damn good laugh it was... what's more funny, one gal hollered out "OMG Ronnie Preston" ....... it was..🤣😖👍

TY that performance was great. I do remember where I was when I first heard this on the radio. There were several events across the nation of young men streaking. I don’t recall if any females did this.

The first album I bought with my own money was The Very Best of Ray Stevens in 1974 and this was released on that album if I'm not mistaken. Great stuff!!!

My dad was a streaker one time he said he'd go to the bathroom he didn't come out for a while so my mom sighed and said to check outside. I say my dad running around in front of people butt naked. He did this frequently, i guess for some people streaking isn't a stupid decision, its a lifestyle.
