THIS is WHY.... Mother Nature will ALWAYS win against the destructive ways of mankind, in the name of progress when it is Capitalism at its very worse.
Why do people always feel the need to put down some female artist in order to uplift another one? These musicians are in completely different lanes and both are successful in what the do respectively, you just gotta tr@sh somebody when no comparison’s needed… Anyways, this song is absolutely phenomenal and I expect nothing less from these two genius minds. Raye for AOTY and a bunch of other awards, my queen deserves nothing less!!
I fully, very seriously expect an AOTY & Record of the Year (for Escapism, most likely) Grammy nom. I'll riot if she doesn't get those noms, and at least one win 😤 (Edited to add (2-ish months later): that I didn't see her name next to any of those nominations is a criminal offence and I'm *irate*!!!)
the way i genuinely believe Raye is one of those once in a generation singers. She's just getting started and yet in a few years she's easily gonna be as well known as beyonce. I swear she will be
@@roseywolf7867yeah but didn’t have a debut album until recently, and was forced to only release pop singles she wasn’t 100% on board with and you can tell - even though she’s been in the industry for a while, not having a album is quite big - I personally don’t become a fan of someone until they’ve at least had ones because side tracks is where you can really see an artist come out
The IMMENSE POWER in her voice. The goosebumps this song ignites while you visually see the world dying. With everything that's happening in the world, this song emphasizes how grateful we should be despite our negligence and sometimes inability to do better. All cause of the government and rules placed on us to make some sort of order, but at what cost when those up high are corrupt.
I am a 47 year old Hip Hop fan diagnosed with Kallmann syndrome and RAYE entirely shifted my views of new gen music man. Nothing short of a masterpiece. I pray one day my music can touch masses like RAYE. He’s my biggest inspiration!
I ADORE YOU THIS WAS INCREDIBLE 😭😭😭 Both of you are geniuses, but the vocals in this deserve to be given special attention. Absolutely breathtaking. Love how everything you do has meaning and substance to it 💜 Thank you for gifting us your music 💜💜
I'm a 35 year old man who rarely cries and I listened to this song in tears. It's the single most beautiful and tragic piece of music I've heard. It's hope and it's heartbreaking in equal measure.
Can this be nominated for an Oscar? Emmy? Grammy? It deserves all of the awards my gosh!!! Got me crying! I hope she performs this live on the Oscars or something lol!
This is so beautiful and powerful. Spreading awareness on our world we live in that isn’t doing so good despite that it still spins keeping us a float. Nature is fascinating we should look after her 👉🌍
This song makes you feel the significance of such little details in nature that so easily overseen. The way the lyrics visually and spiritually embrace the beauty of Mother Nature is breathtaking. A mother in secret as she bathes us with a beauty soo many take for granted. ❤
I saw this release, the title, and the cover photo before driving home today and I knew that I would need to get home before listening. I am glad I trusted myself, because if I would've tried to listen to this while driving, I would've crashed or had to pull over. I am SOBBING right now. This was beautiful and tragic and so passionate, and I couldn't have held my tears in if I tried! This was a great collaboration, one that should happen again!! Symphony and RAYE's voice are meant to be together! 😭🌍💖
I'm.... I'm screamin from my whole hear n soul for this song, for the lines and beautiful Rayes voice that is only one possible to deliver this in such outstanding performanse! 🍀Hans Zimmer 🙏🙌 Raye🍀 🌍🌎🌏
I'm so happy to be alive for this one. This went through my soul. I'm alive. I'M ALIVE! Thank you Mother Nature, and thank you RAYE and Hans Zimmer. What a beautiful collab.
Spine tingling. The lyrics, orchestra and Raye’s amazing vocals could make this an international anthem for tackling climate change. The BBC have created a moving video to this for Planet Earth III but this song is crying out for so much more. The good it could achieve could be endless. Thank you for creating this masterpiece. Is there any limit to Raye’s God given talents?
Okay, I’m 2 months in on listing to this song on repeat and it’s official… Raye is honestly the best vocalist of this generation. The power in her voice is incredible.
in Indonesia, we have a song with the same title, Ibu Pertiwi (Mother Nature) at 1908. From intersecting, but choosing different points, one earth as something that is truly earth, another the homeland, as a nation and state!
Oh, We know damn well what we do. I just find comfort in the fact that after humanity is gone, Mother Nature will thrive again for some more time. Incredible and touching song. Thank you!
I'm crying and every inch of me has chills... completely blindsided. However- a large part of the tragedy is that we DO know what we do. We have since 1896, since 1938, since 1957, since 1972, and beyond. We have known for more than a century that this was coming, and for almost a century that it is happening. The problem is corporate greed, and the inability of the common person to enact any real change. We're running out of time, and when it's finally run out, humanity will have no one and nothing to blame but ourselves.
We should be facilitating a relationship to our mother earth as we do the ones that gave us life, how beautiful is it to be provided for by our home, we need to take care of her and be no hindrance to her growth, i believe we live on our god
I will never be able to comprehend the fact that Raye has 618K subscribers. The most underrated artist out here. So many people out there missing out on the work of this beautiful human ❤️
