Rayla is pretty much the goddess of sass and you can't change my mind. I don't even know how you were able to find less than 5 minutes of material. Like... 90% of her screen time is just her sassing the unholy hell out of one of her victims.

You forgot when Bait ate Rayla’s Moonberry juice. Ezran tells Rayla “Bait as a different color for everything. Like when he’s angry, or hungry, or hangry” Callum then tells Rayla “That’s when you’re so hungry you’re angry” “Ugh, I know what hangry is!” Callum then says back to Ezran “I bet she’s hangry” Rayla then replies with “I’M HABSULOTLY HURRIOUS” I noticed this line on my second rewatch of the series. And. I. Cracked. Up.
@Wolpion Yes, thanks for mentioning that! I was going to include it, but after watching it, although it made me laugh, I wasn't sure if it was necessarily Rayla being funny. I'd put it back in if I'd know that other people thought it was funny too!
Agreed, especially by the ATLA/Korra community. I grew up on ATLA, went through my late teen years on Korra, and wasn't sure about this show when I watched the first episode; it took me a while until I really sat down and watched it and now I think I like it almost as much as those shows. It's literally like a combo of ATLA and The Elder Scrolls, which are probably my two favorite fantasy franchises ever, so it's perfect.

I was saying to my mom yesterday: “What a disaster would it be if the hand that was dying was her writing hand.” But realistically that hand would have been numb as heck and she wouldn’t have been able to hold anything. And when Azemondious bit the binding off it would have hurt really bad because of the blood that would be rushing back into that hand.
@@harpywiththebrownfeathers Yes, but things like gravity and oxygen still work the same in theirs and our world, so it would be expected for the blood thing to work the same.. On the other hand (no pun intended), we could say it worked the way it did just because she's an elf 🤔
@@zeearts9484 Perhaps, but y'know. Logic is often your enemy when it comes to cartoons. You'll tie yourself into a knot trying to figure out how things logically work in a story. Especially one that is both animated and has MAGICAL STUFF like ELVES, DRAGONS, and ALL KINDS OF OTHER INCREDIBLE NONSENSE.
@@harpywiththebrownfeathers Cause it's fantasy, you don't need it to be absolutely accurate, just accurate enough. So when you watch you just go "Yeah that checks out" at first glance.
Underrated season one moment for me is Rayla at the Banther lodge comparing Callum’s impeccable sketch to the upstairs before rolling her eyes and declaring “iT’s oKaY…….” 😂
I actually really like her accent I think that the Scottish/irish accent really charming unlike the Danish one people say that we danes sound like we have a baked potato in our mouth😅
Lol, I like her accent a lot too. At least when you talk your accent is real. Whenever I do a Scottish accent everyone gives me a weird look like, aren't you American???
3:55 I just realized Raya will outlive Callum if they manage to have a peaceful ending. So she’s guaranteed to grieve him if they have the “best” ending possible.
