Yea I’m glad I have 5x112 so I can run 5x114.3 wheels with only wobble bolts or stud conversions. 5x100 is too far away to be able to do that. But at least selection is better than 112 so it’s not all bad in my opinion.
Just a quick question, I just bought mines and they come just with 5 holes in the center where the lug nuts are, but I see other people with the same model 57dr and they have 10 holes or 10 counterbores in each wheel, you why is that? Thanks
I just bought the Mach yellow drs and I’m super excited. It was my second pick over the te37 s plus time attack in dash white since I didn’t want to wait with no eta and they were estimating 16 weeks lol. That’s what I hate about tes is unless you buy used you have to wait to get them imported. It would be nice for retailers to stock sets.
They are. Only the face is mold form cast and the barrels are rolled that’s why they’re not as heavy as a full cast wheel and why they’re really strong. Also rays has proprietary mixes for their metals and I know in tes they add magnesium and I’m pretty sure these are the same.
They’re only 500$ a piece so I’d hope people can afford them if they’re looking for wheels. Tes are more overrated in my opinion I can’t remember the last time I say a 57dr/cr on a car but I see tes all the time. I do like tes more and I was going to get a set of dash white time attacks but I didn’t want to wait 4+ months for them lol. The best part about 57s is like he said they’re stocked so much more. But tes weigh a lot less and are inherently stronger because they’re forged. But you can find some pretty light flow formed wheels that you could buy around 1k for a set. Rays makes great wheels so they can charge more and get away with it.
