I did neglect to mention when I originally made this video that it has an awful cooler on it This was an RTX 2080 Super ripped from a Dell prebuilt right in the middle of the GPU shortage lol. It was a horrendous blower style cooler but I didn’t have much better to work with at the time. If you check out my other videos you can see my PC running an RTX 4090 at like 75 under full 380+w load, and that’s WHILE vertically mounted and facing tempered glass. The high temps you’re seeing here are exclusively the fault of the blower cooler.

God damn that thumbnail change is really putting in work lol. This remaster already got more views in the first day than the original ever did in 6 months. Thank you to those who are watching this! This was a remaster of the very first video I ever made for this channel, and I’m glad people are enjoying it! I’ve had a soft spot for this particular video and it’s really nice to see my older work flourishing a lot more after just a few changes!

if you show this to 1000 peoples 99% or more will not see any difference or will say that before are even better graphic then after

The Ray-tracing Capcom uses in the RE Engine is actually really light handed. I definitely do think it looks better, especially as someone who has studied the way light works a little bit, but I also stated at the end of the video that I’m more than familiar with how the game engine outputs both rasterized and Ray-traced frames. I also stated at the end that most people probably wouldn’t notice at all.

@@raininnoodles yo will not see difference in gaming unless you notice lagg or low fps,it is impossible to see difference in gaming and here on RU-vid especially.,raytraceliiks more like Nvidia scam which they charge overpriced

@@Mr11ESSE111 I think you’d be surprised, I actually talked a little more about Ray-tracing in my RX 6800XT vlog where I was actually really impressed with how well it held up with these games with RT turned on. At the end of the day though it’s all subjective, and fortunately it’s easy to turn off if you don’t want it.

A 2080 is not a 4k capable card.... that's a 1440p card at best. That's an old card.

The 2080 is an old card but these are also old games. I've been able to play games at 4k on a RTX 2080 Super with only a little bit of compromise, especially RE Engine games. And I didn't mention it in this video, but it's also a weird 2080 Super that has a god awful cooler on it. The 2080 is the level of performance both the PS5 and the Series X are most similar to, and it's the level of hardware that this patch was initially designed for. If we're talking max settings, especially max RT, sure. But few people who have a 2080 these days are expecting to run games at max settings, and the consoles certainly don't either. I have content showcasing RE Engine games with the 6800XT and RTX 4090 if you really want to see these games at 4k max settings. But to be frank RE Engine games aren't very demanding and are manageable even on integrated graphics, let alone 5 year old dGPUs.
