Just bought this headset and it is amazing. Very comfortable and light weight. Sounds amazing and the mic is very good. And for $50 this is a steal. It even comes with surround sound.
Found you from searching for reviews on the razer peripherals quartz pink set. I came back to see more reviews and decided to watch this one too , I think the quality of your videos are really good and hope your channel grows as it looks as the other professional ones that do reviews on tech products , plus your personality feels genuine and you come across as down to earth and humble, which to me is a very nice touch. As for the razer Krakens, I think they are really nice , I love matte and all black accessories. I was looking at both the pink quartz and these , and to me the black ones are just perfect because they are not too flashy and just all black which is a color that goes with everything. The mic is a little bit groggy but not too bad as they sound decent and can be hidden to not have it bothering you when you dont want to talk on it (laughed on the part where you said that you can be talking for an hour and realize it's on mute xD) . And for the price I think they are at an ok range , I'm hoping one day I can get my hands on one of these. Blessings to you and thanks for your content 👏
the kraken x sounds very nice and affordable, I like how it's so simple effective and gets the job done, I hope I win because my current headset is pretty bad.
Was surprised that despite it being a budget headset it still had that premium look! It would have been nice if it has retractable mic or maybe on/off lights indicator on it
jus copped this headset for $30, the 7.1 surround sound bonus code made this thing sound 10x better. I've had a pair of Turtle Beach Recon x50's for about 3 years now, but a sudden upgrade to this headset made me love Razer to its fullest. 10/10 will definitely buy from this company again
So i currently use the HyperX cloud stinger for 2.5 years now and was looking for a budget upgrade , but in India these headset cost around 70$ which is way out of my budget :( Good and precise review
Laniboy yes I tested it against my iPad and it’s really good. Crisp and clear. It’s not like a throusand dollar mic but it’s still amazing for the price point
I've been looking in getting these gaming headphones because there so light weight and comfortable. The mic is really good which as online gamer I use alot. I definitely would like to obtain one of these. Btw just discovered your channel great review.
I've been watching a lot of reviews on the Kraken X, debating if I should buy them, and you're review is one of best ones I've seen. I'll probably buy one unless I get lucky with the giveaway!
I clicked the video already knowing that there was a giveaway cuz thats how awesome Brainbean is lol. I think that the Kraken X looks good especially for the price, but the no light on the mic is a bit disappointing since I always want to know when my mic is on.
Our family you know like isn't that financially good and I am loving how they are making things more affordable and I love how u are doing the mic test so I know if I want to get them or not since that is like the maim thing that I use
Looks good, also happy to see that Razer is finally doing something for people on a budget (Razer Kraken X, Razer Blackwidow Lite, Razer Cynosa, etc...) I currently use my cheap af headphones bought from a cheap store, I tried the Razer Kraken X and they sound amazing. If I had the money, I would definetly spend the money on this. Thanks for the professional review as always.
I think these would be a much better pair than the other Krakens for carrying around for daily life. I wouldn't want the other Krakens in a travel bag without a case and these seem pretty good even for office work and conference calls.
The Kraken X imo is definitely a solid headset but it could be better if the mic were retractable lol. Also could you check out the Steelseries Arctis 9X and the HyperX Cloud Mix and then do a comparison between the two? I'm thinking of getting a new headset that's why.
@@fonso6576 ive been using it for a few weeks now and its excellent. One thing is its quite light so doesn't weigh down on your head and its decently comfortable. No signs of any wear or tear
As someone who has never had a razer product or even a proper headset I think this would be great to start off but I just gotta save up for it a bit, Can’t Wait!
I'm not a big fan of the big razor headphones so I really like the look of these and they would go nice with my set up, also I don't know how you don't have more subs lol
This headset is very great for the price, nice to see razer selling budget friendly headsets maybe it will change the "overpriced" perspective that alot of people have about razer
Its a great budget headset for only $50, though it is made out of plastic, that's what you should expect, plus it would feel light on your head. Good luck to everyone
hello! i had this headset for a while, maybe 1-2 years max and as any cheap headset, it does break after a while the bands you use to lengthen the band both snapped and got stuck in place, and the band sort of snaps after a while aswell its good for its price, but if youre looking for a long term headset this isnt the go to!!
@@bondell1840 Hi!! as far as im aware, im not a big computery tech person so i dont know, but I recently bought a turtle beach headset and they're very good, so if you want something more durable 8 definitely recommend the elite atlas!
Does anybody has problems with the mic? I bought a headset online and the mic was to short and i couldnt talk now i am afraid that it also on this headset i would like to buy it in a shop were i can try it but lockdown ends in 2 weeks and thats to long
Its cool because when u say "Razer" you brain says "expensive" but with this headset you can still have razer without paying much. Btw been here since 1k subs:D
Hey was wondering should i get the razer kracken X or razer kracken 7.1 surround sound since they are 15$ apart? I Cant decide which one too get can someone give feedback?
My son just recently bought the head set and is having challenges using it. Where does the long cord plug into? He does not have a computer, he is usung the tv and he has a PS4. Any and all suggestions are welcomed
I own a electra v2 and kraken x and I would recommend the electra v2 although my mic quality is worse than the kraken x but the audio sounds way better on the electra and it also doesn't look as pleasing as the kraken x
is there anyway to adjust the mic, I've been told my voice sounds deeper than it really is.. I'm not sure how to fix it? When I hear myself echo on a game it sounds so different than my actual voice and it's super frustrating
Kinda curious is this actually almosy the same as kraken 7.1 pro v2 because if it is i will be so god damn pissed cuz i juz bought mine for a year and now razer released a new headphone...
i think for a budget friendly headset thats a great specs but like you said its difficult to know if the mic is on or off, i prefer to know if the mute is on or not, cause sometime i often snag the cord of my razer kraken and it switches to mute and i know its mute because the switch indicated that my mic is mute. also wish they have a variety of colors for this, and i like to roll my mic in cause i dont want to ruin the cord of the mic, its also nice to roll it back when its not in use goodluck everyone
😱 i don't believe razer make a cheaper product and it's a budget gaming headset, the mic is pretty decent though, they cut the cost with no RGB and thats a great deal, "RGB can't make you pro", i hope i can grab one...
Razer products are premium. Plastic or aluminum, you still have the premium quality and performance that you can get for a Razer. This is indeed an excellent review. Continue what you're doing. Continue giving out a very informative review.
it is lightweight, the mic is clear, and the headphone is comfortable wish razer produce more affordable products. compare hyper x stinger to the kraken x
Razer kraken x is kind of op, but if it would be wireless that would be amazing. I'm planing to pick them up if i don't win this giveaway. Nice video bro. Keep it up!
What timing. Broke my headset watching this video and it just so happens to be the Razer Kraken headphones. Maybe this was a calling. P.S anyone how doesn't believe me I have proof.
can you help me? I can't seem to get the mic to work because it's not showing up as an input in the Realtek audio console! I've checked everywhere and now you're my last hope!!! (btw I'm on a laptop and the headphones still work)
