This was hilarious, like I haven't laughed at the manuals this much since seeing a flossy Carter video where he's like " pluck them file em to the side" and on this the book just cause earthquakes XD I like the through review. The nitty gritty and how much got covered in such a short time to. Keep up the great work! I see the background changed, best of luck to you!
Omg I was looking for reviews that where good for such a long time and then I came across this amazing video truly a great video and I'm putting this on my Christmas list for this year thank you so much for the amazing video and keep it up man seriously do.
Was lookin for a video for my mouse (the Naga Classic) and came across this gem. Even though the video wasn't specifically for my mouse the tips in it were exactly what I was looking for and I look forward to finally tryin builds mode on PC thanks to your amazing advice! Sub and Like earned.
I have it and the build quality is quite poor, the side pannels stopped working after not even 2 years and i seem to not be the only person with this issue
I bought this mouse for Overwatch and I love it, especially since I play lots of different types of games, I usually use the 7 button but I use the 12 button in MMOs and craftying games like ARK. I use the two button one in more relaxed games without a lot of commands, like Call of Cthulhu, since thats just a glorified point and click anyways.
@Andrew Soto I find it works fine in OW, although I must mention that I am a Tank and Support player, that being said it is going to depend on you, some people can deal with heavier mice some dont like it.
I love using the 12 button sideplate for fortnite... the first 6 are for primary game play while the bottom 6 are for the more niche moments (I use these mostly for things such as map and traps)
does it have on-board memory? I want to use it on the Xbox, my Naga hex didn't save the profiles. so my dpi was stuck on default, even tho I set my own
Yeah this one has on board memory, which I think all gaming mice should have at this point. The button on bottom let's you cycle thru the profiles you've saved on the mouse. The max profiles it can have is 4, which is plenty for a mouse with different side button options.
Do you still use this mouse? Do you know if you add a hypershift on one of the saved profile onboard the naga's memory does it still work if used on a machine that does not have Razer synapse installed?
I personally use the bottom half of my thumb to hit the 7-12 buttons. A lot less effort since that part of your thumb is already over them. It did take me a little bit to get used to it, but once I did it was a lot faster.
I tried doing my settings in fortnite with this mouse im trying to use the 12 button one. But when it says choose key. I push a key on mouse and it does nothin HELP PS i use it on PS4
To do any custom you need to make a profile on PC thru synapse 3 first. Right now I don't think PS4 supports the feature of the side buttons for some odd reason, because the buttons are basically just mapped keyboard buttons. When you label any side button as Mouse Button 4 or Mouse Button 5 it does work(those buttons are usually mapped as walls and stairs), so this is mostly a software thing on either Sony's part, or Epic's. BUUUUUT, I did read somewhere that rebinding the side buttons as keyboard function buttons might work (so don't use the default number bindings, rebind the them to same numbers, but as "keyboard function" per button). Other people have suggested binding them to keys you don't use on the keyboard for fortnite, and then rebinding in the game itself. I'll test it when I get a hold of a buddy's PS4 again, unless you get to it faster than me.
WELP sorry for the long wait, I just tested it and the 12 button side on PS4 is a no go unfortunately. Only thing I could get working were mapping Mouse 4 and Mouse 5 to any of the buttons. Remapping the number row didn't work, nor did letters. This is all pretty unfortunate.
Have you noticed any disconnections with the magnets using this mouse vs the hex v2? Mine is starting to get worn down from use and Razer discontinued the hex v2.... Little worried about the magnets not holding in place. I realistically only use 4 of the 7 buttons on the 7 grip, but not really looking to find a new mouse
@@Teknickel hmm ok good to know. It seems too easy to accidentally nudge the magnets and break the circuit while gaming but even a year at minimum of consistent use it worth the price I think... Not many other mice with comfortable moba configurations
Good video, hace you some macro for gears of war 4 to wallbounce easy or something? I have trinity mouse and play on xbox with xim apex.of you help me I can pay you
To a pro or a serious gamer yes, though most people actually can't tell the difference because the difference is rather minuscule. The new sensor is more accurate, but works best on an even surface so a sort of mouse mat is required. Laser sensors of the older mice, though less pin point accurate to your movements, can be used effectively on more types of surfaces (good for travel). The difference really depends on if you use a mouse mat often or not, as well as the type of games you play. Personally I think its best to try the mouse to know yourself. Like this mouse has a hefty weight, which is I know is not suited for shooter games, but I like the weight, play a variety of games, and the sensor does help a bit since my hand movements tend to be smaller due to my preferred mouse sensitivity (optical sensors experience less jitter with slower movements, which helps me when I snipe since my hand moves very little during those times. Any jitter raises the chances of a missed shot).
I have this mouse, and my scroll wheel is a bit stiff or choppy i guess you could say. It just takes a lot of effort to scroll with it, any ideas on how to improve it?2
As of right now, only the 2 button works. The other sides only work if you set buttons as Mouse 5 or Mouse 4, so it makes them useless on Ps4, which is super unfortunate.
its a really good and comfortable mouse but when i try spraying for some reason it pauses and stops, and with charge shotgun it barely charges but instead it shoots
So far with ps4 it doesn't work, aside from remapping mouse 4 and mouse 5. Like I've tried remapping other buttons like the numbers and they oddly don't work, so the ps4 may be preventing the data reads.
I’ve been using the Razer Naga line for close to 10 years. I love the number pad. It’s great for a lot of games. The newer models are way bigger than the early ones. The biggest downside to this mouse is the shape/grip. It’s the only gripe I have with it. I cannot aim as well with this mouse because it’s too big to use claw grip. The early models were small enough to use claw. It is still my favorite mouse but I hope Razer will make a smaller model or allow the right side of the mouse to be adjusted to help obtain the optimal size.
i dont know man, might take mine back, the grip messes it all up, the need to compensate with different switches that have more tension in them. its so easy to miss click on this mouse, especially with fat hands and 12 side buttons lol the whole plate is covered unlimited ways for me to royally EPH UP
If it doesn't work for you, it doesn't work. Like features of a mouse are one thing, but if it doesn't work for you because of the grip, you definitely need to find another mouse. For me personally it I like the grip, but I for sure had to practice to get used to the side buttons to not misclick
Its honestly not good for fortnite the heavy weight makes it hard to move across the mouse pad and you cant hit consistent shots when using it, it gets to unbalanced and you cant keep your mouse still in one pixel of the screen
Good video sir, clear and simple. Tech specs a part,i wanna ask you or anyone who know (or maybe don't) what mean what we can find in the official Razer's website about WARNING??? It say: "WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including diethylhexyl phthalate(DEHP), which is known to the State of California to cause cancer. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov." (you can find this at the bottom of the official description page of Naga Trinity) So that mean owning this mouse our skin can be exposed by somenthing that cause cancer? Can you (or anyone) explain this??? Thanks a lot
I believe it is a chemical used when making plastics, though it should be safe since the danger comes from inhaling or ingesting. That said, I think it's relatively safe considering you probably won't be grinding the mouse into dust to inhale, or putting it into your mouth to suck on it.
@@xdinferedtm7291 Not sure whatcha mean, but ima take a guess. Like to program the mouse, you do it in razer synapse 3. Among options on the top row, there's a thing that says profile(but make sure under mouse you already made a profile for fortnite). Once you go into that, press on the mouse, choose the profile you made for fortnite and link the game. If the game doesn't show in the options to choose from, click the add button next to the "don't see your game?" in the corner and type down fortnite to find it.
When I said "whatever you want it to be" for the DPI buttons, I'm referring to the fact that those buttons can be reprogrammed to whatever you want. I wasn't referencing dpi vs cpi.
Razer's Synapse 3 software ain't the best, not gon lie. The keybinding options are in the software for the mouse customization, but can be quirky. You click one of the buttons and make sure you select the right type of input needed, like "keyboard function," before pressing the key you want bind. Then you have to save for each one; it''s finicky.
Haven't personally tested it, BUT mice generally work on PS4. Given the saved profiles, you'd have to set profiles on the mouse on PC beforehand. Cycling thru the custom presets can be done with the bottom button and the color on buttom dot light changes per preset. STIILL, I'm not even sure if the custom side buttoms will work on it yet. I'll have to test it someday,
@Teknickle i am going to be ordering one soon it should work as most mice do with ps4. i will let you know when i get the mouse.in your personal opinion should i get the naga trinity or the deathadder
@@seanlee6912 bad news, I just tested on a PS4 and it seems the programmed buttons aren't supported by the PS4 fortnite as of right now. The 12 button side doesn't event register as existing, but the others do. The regular 2 button works, but they default to wall and stairs. Seems if mouse 1 and mouse 2 are programmed to the profiles, those buttons will work, though as just wall and stairs. So I can say this mouse makes sense only for PC if you want the programmed 12 button goodness, oooooor if you like having options for PC and still are ok with the basic 2 button side for console.
