Just got my Ornata yesterday, and haven't stopped loving it yet! I recommend Ornata

I just picked up the Ornata Chroma. The wrist rest is what persuaded me to make my purchase. My old keyboard was a Alienware TactX. I'm happy with the upgrade.

The Ornata all the way! It's a joy to type into... you have that nice click and feel of the mechanical keyboards, but it's still quiet enough. And the wrist rest just feels premium and comfy. RGB, 100% programmable... the Ornata is a solid product and for the price tag, it's a no-brainer!

I bought the Blackwidow Chroma some weeks ago. Guys, if you never had a mechanical Keyboard and you are worrying about the noise it makes .... grab the Stealth Edition of the Blackwidow Chroma. Well, like Brainbean said, that's just my opinion. Choose the Normal one if you know about the noise and the keys. But, don't do it like me. The Chroma is my first mechanical Keyboard and the green Switches are way to loud for me ;) I would like to see a Headset for like ... $60+ that is wireless. Nothing like $100+. I mean a budget wireless headset/headphones (Budget... can i say that like this?). Nice Review by the way. Keep it up and never give up ;)

I personally use the ornata chroma because I type and do a lot of research so I prefer the membrane switch for typing. But I already used a mechanical keyboard and I don't feel like there's a huge difference while playing. I really think that the main differences are things that we don't really pay attention for while playing like the response time or the life duration of the keys.

I REALLY REALLY like the look of the ornate but the fact that it isn't mechanical is what let's it down

I have tried these keyboards but I fell in love with the Ornata. Immediately got it and I don't have a single bit of regret.

My mom types data entry of court records every day at work, constantly typing. She's never had a "nice" keyboard, she normally just buys a cheep logitech until every key is worn off and the keys start to fail. I bought her an ornada about 6 months ago and she absolutely loves it. The keys are starting to wear off, but none of them have failed. She loves the feel of the keys and the satisfaction of each click. If you type for a living at an 8-5 job, the ornada will most definitely survive. She also really likes the membrane feel, because it cushions her fingertips on each keystroke. Even if I need to buy her another keyboard after a year, I think this keyboard is a really nice investment.

Every day I use a membrane keyboard for 10 years and it works flawless. This means that mechanical keyboards can last 100 years ? Why they don't give us at least 10 years warranty ?

Just wanna say thanks.... was really torn between chroma green and chroma stealth orange...the audio quality of the video really showed the sound difference between the two.., for a 2 BR Apt and to keep the GF sane, I'm going with stealth orange....

In my opinion my favourite is the Blackwidow Chroma, why? Because i like the green switches and the clicky and loud sounds they make. Also those USB microphone and headphones port, i mean just thats awesome

I went to a store tested them all and came to realise the ornata had the better feel anddesign so I got that! the wrist rest is a nice adition too. I dont know about the "quallity" of those mecha-membrane switches, but they are great in the hand for typing and gaming!

Got my ornata a couple weeks ago. Ive been wanting it since ny trip to bestbug when I was a couple years younger. I was initially playing on a gaming laptop so the half height key caps of the ornata is a safe step up for me and its very comfortable!

I have the Ornata and it i my personal favorite.

Out of these 3 the best is the corsair rgb strafe.

Surprisingly enough, I actually went from a BlackWidow X to an Ornata. As strange as that decision may seem, I actually found the Ornata to be better for me because I found the combination of the slight cushion from the rubber domes along with the tactile click from the mecha-membrane mechanism made it more enjoyable for me to type on. I also prefer low profile keycaps. While it definitely doesn't feel as premium as a real mechanical keyboard, I haven't regretted my decision since I honestly do more typing than gaming.

The best...the Blackwidow Chroma Tournament Edition Stealth!

In my opinion.. Aesthetics: Ornata > BWX > BWC Sound: BWX > Ornata > BWC Functionality: BWC > BWX > Ornata Price to Performance: BWX > BWC > Ornata

I got the Ornata on sale for around 70...I really like it, it surprised the hell out of me, the mecha-membrane keys are just unreal!

The millisecond latency difference for mechanical keys will only possibly be a factor at the very highest professional level of gaming. The need to bottom out a membrane key only matters if you're a light typer. Personally I type extremely hard and have even bounced a mechanical cap down hard enough for it to type the letter twice. The chroma seems to be a shorter stroke distance as well, so I don't see this coming into play unless you are a very very light typer. I not only game with my PC, but work on it all day professionally, so the softer rubber keys are actually better for me. Sound is also a big factor. There is a bit of distance between my room and my 5 year olds, but as soon as I start typing on a mechanical in the morning I hear him start to wake up. Not to mention when i'm on the phone with clients and it sounds like my keyboard is a little machinegun. I'd say the choice comes down to two factors aside from that. The better lighting options of the ornata and the macro keys of the blackwidow chroma.

I modified my blackwidow X to have the blackwidows old font and it shines a lot more and looks lovely

i honestly really wanna see a bw chroma refresh, taking the improvements from the bwx such as keycaps full metal construction and indicator leds, combined with the macro keys (6 instead of 5 though), white backplate, and add media keys to compete with corsair, as well as relocating the usb and audio passthroughs to the back of the keyboard rather than the side, making the keyboard use usb 3.0 like the corsair keyboards so that the passthrough won't have any input lag when plugged into usb 3.0 (which you really should have if you're considering a high end keyboard anyway), and possibly removing the audio passthroughs altogether since most headsets are usb anyway nowadays

Nice video! I went from a Blackwidow Chroma to a Ornata Chroma last month. I very much prefer the Ornata due to the mid-height keycaps. I honestly don't see any difference in performance while gaming though (CSGO, LoL, OW). Even doing typing speed tests I average ~90 for both keyboards.

I tried to type 3 of them in real life and Ornata was the BEST. It sounds better and feels much softer when typing.

my first mechanical keyboard was a blackwidow TE. sadly it didnt last me a year cus it had the khail(?) green switch. its good to know razer learned and improved on the switches. i really like the blackwidow x design but for now its out of my budget :))

Subscribed. Good one. Please post a full video of these or any other brands focusing only about macro key programming. Also on the fly macro recording. Cos that separate row of extra keys is what I want. Even now I am bit scared to buy a keyboard without dedicated macro keys cos I don't know how to access the macros without them
