Today we're comparing the best value controller, and what in my opinion, is the best all around pro controller on the market today. It's the battle of the ages, the Razer Wolverine Ultimate VS the PowerA Fusion Pro! In this video, I break down their feature sets, and share my experience to decide which type of person would be buying which controller. If you're looking for a more In-depth look at both of these controllers separately, I've left both of my reviews down below, which are far more detailed than this video alone. I really do hope you lot enjoyed this one though! I was really excited to work on it, and I hope I could help a few of you out in making a decision. I'll have more of these comparison videos in the future, as well as 1, 3 and 6 month updates on controller performance and durability for all my current, and future pro controllers. @@Fijidummo yeah I went Target at like 10:45 to pick up Cold War and they had one so I bought it and the only issue I have is sometimes it doesn’t turn on when I turn on the console but other wise it’s really solid for 80 bucks.

I would not recommend the Wolverine, I’ve had the Razer Wolverine tournament edition for about 2 years and this year I started having problems with the the power cord and RB/LB buttons.

The elite series 2 paddles are literally my favorite part. In my opinion, huge improvement over the series 1....not only because they are smaller, but also they don't move around and feel as "loose".

My spectra got stick drift in about 5 weeks. B4 that I had an elite and it lasted 3 months. I'm just tired of buyng faulty controllers, it's literally 2021. And pc parts are expensive af 😪

I have both. I like the wolverine but the paddles are difficult for me to reach. The fusion is great but the lower paddles are rather large.

Weird thing: the PowerA actually wants the analog sticks to move in 8 directions. It really does. Unless you're moving it at the outermost edge (like full circular motion) it'll try and force/correct your movement into one of 8 directions. You should test this and see for yourself - it's kinda weird. Other than that it's a very nice controller imho.

Fusion pro so far for me has had minimal issues. Tried to get a wolverine and both the original and replacement had severe stick drift out of the box.

I buy the wolverine ultimate for sale in 140 usd whit warranty from Amazon 🧐 and the fusion pro 2 is 122 usd whit same warranty (both in Amazon Mexico) so yea they are comparable in price and the video was useful thanks!

I’ve had my fusion for 9 month and it still work like new, the only unfortunate issue I’ve had is the audio jack no longer works properly, the sound only comes out of one side of my headset, when I use the same headset on a base controller I can hear through both sides, but when it’s plugged into my pro fusion 🥲

Power A controller has the t2 trigger stop for certain games that “prevent” trigger stops like rainbow which recently put an update where half way trigger stops don’t work and you can’t shoot, I use the second trigger stop so it’s enough to read that I’m shooting

I don’t do scuff controllers, at least right now. Scuff controllers have an absolutely terrifying reputation of falling apart in little to no time. Plus they don’t offer warranties for more than 3 months. I can’t risk the money right now, but one day I might lol

If you're on PC, can the extra buttons/paddles be mapped to have other functions? This was one of the things I hated about the Elite controller when it first launched. I bought one only to learn the paddles aren't separate buttons, but simply "remapped." I wanted extra buttons, much like what you get on different mice. So all that to ask: am I only limited to "remapping" the extra buttons/paddles to existing buttons, or can they be set to separate functions in games (as independent buttons)? Glad you enjoyed it my man! Unfortunately this is a feature that isn't available with any pro controller, aside from using the Elite controllers with the third party software ReWASD. No controller has separate binds for the paddles/buttons, their meant to take the place of existing buttons on the controller. Like the ones you have to take your thumbs away from your thumbsticks to press (ABXY, D-Pad, etc..) They can also be used for the thumbstick click actions, which degrade thumbsticks over time.

If you play a racing game like forza with the fusion you’ll realize the 3 way trigger stops are actually working. Just can’t tell the dif in fps, which I agree makes the middle basically useless since that’s what you use it for and it’s basically the same location when you press it lol

No sir, you can't buy replacement parts anywhere. I've heard a few people say they've gotten replacement parts directly from PowerA when they hit them up for a warranty replacement though

I absolutely love it. The controller isn’t that big so it’s easy to use, and the buttons themselves feel amazing. A ton of people of asked me weather or not it’s accessible for smaller hands, and my answer has always been yes. If it’s too much for you though, the Razer Wolverine te is a bit more simplified in its paddle placement

Only reason I'm looking to "upgrade" to the Ultimate is that it's on sale and in stock. (I'm an instant gratification kind of guy.) The PowerA Fusion Pro is more comfortable to hold than the Wolverine, and Elite 2. Analog seems more responsive. Only bad thing is when driving a vehicle playing Warzone with trigger stoppers enabled, the car drives very slow. You have to take the stopper off to go full speed. Don’t know if my device is defective or not.

Their both very different controllers for sure, so hand size and shape makes it a but hit or miss. But I absolutely love both of them! I actually plan on releasing my 3 month update on the fusion tomorrow, and I gotta say, the fusion is probably my favorite 4 paddle/button controller

I got the fusion pro and the elite 2 to compare and choose. The elite 2 feels smoother but the upper paddles don't actuate when they "click" you have to press HARD. Are they all like that or just mine? Fusion pro heavy af.

The Wolverine won't fit KontrolFreeks unfortunately. The Fusion v1 or v2 would be a nice option if you've never had a Pro Controller before

Either way you buy, it doesn't matter. Reliability and the controllers firmware should be the same universally, unless they makes updates to the controller, which I don't personally believe they have. But yeah, its a good controller for forrnite, but it isn't a longterm solution for heavy game play like that. Id say it probably do 1-1.5 years at best on that game

Ill say this I went and bought the series elite 2 when it first cam out. 200$ 3 months later the round gliders that surround your L & R sticks the little teeth that hold that black ring in there are so thin and they broke on my left stick. Making the while controller useless. till i could track down a new face plate for it. But in the mean time i bought a second series elite 2. 200$ again 3 month later same thing happens. So i go back to the og series 2 1 month after fixing the joy stick gliders my left joy stick just starts spining. And theres no way to tighten it. SO i give up and i do some research and found out alot of people are liking the Power A controllers. So i go ahead and buy one. LOve it feels of quality lots of extras the sticks feel so smooth, smoother than the Elite series 2 Im not much on the paddles since i mainly play Fifa and Madden. but they are so well thought out. 1 year later and still not one issue. the only thing i wish the Power A had that the Elite series 2 had was the ability to change the tension on your joy sticks. thats the only thing i prefer on the Series 2 over the Power A. Maybe if Power A makes a new model they'll add that feature. Great review

I have always stuck with witless Xbox controllers form Xbox but the experience I have with the power a tells me that they are light weight they have bad audio Jack issues making you quiet or not sound good. Also that the joy sticks are very tight and uncomfortable and the A,B,X,Y buttons to be very hard to press down or harder than normal Xbox controllers. I play claw so I can’t put as much pressure as a full big ahs thump so someone with experience with this controller plz help me

I already have an elite series 1 and series 2 and a bunch of extra ps4 scufs but I'm looking into buying another pro controller from a different provider just to see if they feel any better as I'm not really a fan of scufs paddles and build quality and the elite controllers are nice but their rubber grips are awful and always eventually start peeling and the paddles are okay/good on the elites but I definitely feel they can be altered and improved upon still and that goes for both scufs and microsofts controllers.

The wolverines, or maybe even the fusion pro would be a nice change up for you. The Fusion pro is essentially an elite controller with a slightly different feel, and the Wolverine Ultimate/Tournament Edition are a nice breath of fresh air with their unique features. The wolverines are definitely the most consistent controllers inn terms of durability, but the Fusion seems to be an easier alternative for most people

@@vCuda Thanks, I forgot to mention I've pretty much only ever used 2 paddles at a time on an elite however I can use 4 well on a scuf impact. Just didn't like how 4 feels on the elites and would often click some of the paddles by accident cause of how easy they are to press. Also how are the dead-zones on the 3rd party controllers? I've owned a power a enhanced controller before and felt like the dead-zones were much bigger, is that an issue with the fusion pro or do you think its fixed? Sorry for all the questions lol.

@@Maybe_Saber You're all good man lol. 3rd party controllers vary with dead zones, as well as thumbstick tension. The fusion deadzones feel quite small, at least imo. They're extremely fast, I know that for sure lol. Way faster than any other controller I've tried. On the contrary, Most 3rd party pro controllers feel like their deadzones are a bit bigger than your stock controllers/elite controllers

tbh, Idk if I'd be comfortable doing either. I'd feel safer with the Wolverine, but not by much.

I just got a Wolverine Ultimate and holy cow is it awesome. Over the Fusion Pro the Wolverine Ultimate has a much better dpad, much nicer a b x y, 2 more mappable buttons, AND two sensitivity switches. If you have the money the ultimate is flat out in a different league than the PowerA. Where PowerA wins is their cheaper controllers. The Spectra inhanced has two bottom buttons and the SEXIEST rgb on any controller in my eyes. Oh and it's only around $40. Oh and if u don't get the rgb then it's like $20. $20 for back buttons. Genius.

Glad yours is working well man! Unfortunately I think this controller would actually be too small if they made it any smaller though. It’s already undercutting the original Xbox one controller by a fair amount. If it was any smaller it’d be closer to a switch controller lol

@@austinredding3603 I'm 6 months in. My fat fingers get stuck between the paddles so I just use 2 or 3 instead of 4. All in all. Solid af and 80 bucks. Plus a warranty.(haven't had to use yet. 6 months of cod mashing sprint and no drift. So 10/10.)

While most will get a pro controller to play some kinda fps game, I'm the odd ball here since is I bought a fusion pro to specifically play a japanese mmorpg game since i hate using keyboards but my class has too many special attack skills and I dont have enough buttons to use them all in real time boss battles.
