Here is a suggestion bolt a slide through plate(a plate that has two parallel slots) to your 49cc and weld a regular plate to the frame with 2-4 bolts sticking up and then you can slide the motor back and forth on a track system if you have to change the chain.. keep up the great work

Will a 79cc four stroke like the harbor freight predator be a better engine than say an 80cc 2stroke for this kind of build or should I go with the 2 stroke. Btw great video.

Thank you. I think it is all about size. Will the predator motor fit under the frame and also give room for the fairings? Idk honestly. Also does the frame of the bike have room for the torque converter on the predator or a centrifugal clutch? I would need a bigger frame I think to make the predator work. Then it would become a mini bike at that point. The decision between 2 stroke and 4 stroke is whether you wanna mix the gas or not. 2 stoke is loud and torquey but the 4 stroke is quieter and less smoke out the rear.

My wheel spins the wrong way it do you know how to fix that?

2 things... 1. Either flip your wheel around to make it spin without it using the gear for rolling. 2. Or your motor might be flipped around 180 degrees which means the tiny sproket is going the other way. They make conversion kits for the motor on amazon if you can't turn the motor

You seem to know what your doing what do I do if the engine sprocket is 2 inches to far from the wheel what part do I get to make it straight is there like a adapter

Straight like your chain is not aligned with your sproket or the chain doesn't reach? If your chain is not aligned you have to remount the motor. If the sproket is too far away, get a longer chain and adjust it from there

I’ve tried to make a mounting plate but the problem I’m having is when I drill into the wood the holes don’t match up eight the holes on the engine and I can’t precisely mark where the holes should be any tips?

That was difficult. I only had 2 bolts screwed into my metal plate that attached to the motor. Worked fine but best way is to mark the motor with sharpie and press the plate onto the motor and itll mark the plate with black where the holes are.

@@mosquitonkosak I finally got it couple of hours ago but I only have 2 bolts in but it’s in there now I have to wait for my chain and throttle that I ordered a couple of days ago to come and then I’m done!

How did you remove the bar blocking the battery and the motor on the original bike?

Angle grinder. Took it right off so it opened up the entire thing to make room for the motor.

Well I do this sort of thing for my kids not really for anyone else. If I was to charge and the customer bought the parts then I would probably charge $40hr. Couldnt give a flat rate because things happen.

lololol🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 that bead yoyuthrew down didnt agree with your plan...you just need to adjust the welder...L.A.S.H ( length amp speed heat) make a puddle before you make a weld pass and you will see how it comes together on its on..tip for a tip kus im learning how to build this same bike so thanks for thew help
