Really wanted to talk about how the tongues of these liners are the main culprit. They do that weird thing where they scrunch down on the top of your toes... Makes my eyes rain.
Guess I'll do another rambling vid on the Genesys skates in another decade.

I've a 14 foot. Got the cults and took them to a snowboard guy and he stretched the boot itself out to custom fit my foot. 40$

Amazing video, I love the detail you put into the video and the music is very nice as well. I don't have feet as large as yours but I was thinking about getting the size US 8-9 Genesys shells and using my Reign V3 and/ or my Intuitions in them. Your video is helping me decide on them. Thanks!

Heya! I got the Genesys 8-9 shell and my Intuition Premium liners in US 9-9.5 are an absolutely perfect fit. I also skate them with a Superfeet hockey insole and they are probably my most comfortable skate I own. I'm usually skating them anti-rocker because despite their width, the backslide groove is pretty close to the foot so boot down angle is deceptively steep which isn't a bad thing, just need to bend those knees more! I also use one long 84" waxed hockey lace and like you mentioned they create such a nice secure top blanket-esque layer of security when tightening them down. The larger toebox helps the comfort with the Intuition too because I can't use my full length insoles in the Cults or Shifts because those have much lower toeboxes. They are great skates too, especially with the Reign V3 liners since those have a lower profile toe area. Overall very happy so far with the Genesys. Thanks again for the video!

Omg a fellow big foot rollerblader ! I have a 31.5 cm mondo point foot so I feel your pain. I m thinking of trying these skates because they might be my only comfortable option. Thanks for putting this info out there 🙏🏼

THANK YOU for the comment. The Genesys skates are an excellent option for folks with large / weird shaped feet. But even these might be a little small for you... Razors says they are 318cm inside, and I think that's about right. However, there are aftermarket liners that might help! And if you simply can't find anything that fits, Powerslide has recently restocked parts for their old Xsjado skates where you can use your own shoes - an option I used for several years. @@lostbearings hey great to see you active on here . Well in the past 6 months I went crazy and bought or tried on almost every option of skate made. I also messed around with several liners and frames. I think I ve figured out what set up works ok for me. Them 909 size large shell that I actually stretch length with heat gun and use a Reign V3 liner in size 13 , frame GC 4FLT with 58mm dead wheels. So far it’s working well. What are u on currently?

Still rolling Razors Genesys skates... I'm making a video about all the different boot failures I've bought over the years (it's depressing as hell.) Glad you got the Large shells to work for you!! Those Reign liners are LEGIT too. Thanks again for the comment. LOVE/PEACE.

@@ryanwessel1797 I think so... But you'll almost definitely need to change the liners. Largest shell size is about 318-320mm, and I'd recommend adding at LEAST a full centimeter to your foot size for the liner. The problem is finding an after-market liner in your size is tough too! I'm around 305mm, and the size 13 Reign liners work great for me. Other options include MyFit React liners (which go up to 13.5), Intuition Premium liners (which run big and are AWESOME) or you can find old Jugg liners pretty easy (that have neoprene tires and go up to 14.) GOOD LUCK HOMIE. Please keep me posted!!

Dude thank you. I really wanted these but I have skinny ass long feet, and if my toes slip around in the toe box side to side then I'm half as confident in my tricks at best. Kinda sucks but also you just saved me like $300. Great review 👍

And you are so right about the liners suck but I don't have wide feet but I have long feet. I wanna buy a pair of new liners but that's gonna take me a couple of weeks to save up for that. My liner's suck,, but the skate is so awesome with the amazing back slid plate, but the back part of the soul plate can be a little wider just feel more comfortable a little one , Mostly because I live in miami florida the asshole of north america. Here we don't have too many hand rails that are skinny.They're mostly really big and fat. And I love doing hand rails within the first week of being back.I was already doing backsides royals on a handrail at my skate park. I literally when I first landed my first backside backslid I started crying.I thought I was never gonna be able to do that again and it was kind of embarrassing.Being at skate park Is a forty seven year old man crying. Other than my two boys being born. That was the best day of my life when I knew I was back and i'm able to do this at my age. Please let me know. Thank you

Just got back into skating at 31 after a 10 year break and got myself these skates (the black/red version) and man I'm loving it. It came boot only so I put an old Remz team frame on there I still had lying around but I'm thinking about upgrading, could you recommend some setups? I love skating ramp and park, was never really a street guy, so maybe a flat setup? Thanks for your help and great videos dude, you have a new subscriber!

Dude thanks for this. I used to rock the original 5th elements in size 15. Cracked the frame (pre UFS model) about 5 years ago and will never find a new one. Didn't think I could find a skate to fit now that those are long gone. What liner do you use with these? The Reigns only go up to 13s, but is there enough room/ will they fill the boot? Thanks man.

I have big feet (UK size 13) and used to squeeze into smaller sizes when I was younger. I’m getting back into skating again and looking to buy a pair of skates. I have been looking at the K2 uptown. If you could recommend a pair of skates (general skating) which would it be from your experience?

I'm a BAD RU-vidr Peter... SO sorry this is more than half a year late. If you're still considering the K2s, I think you might really like them! They fit a wide variety of foot sizes, have solid stock parts and have been really resilient for me so far. But if you want to consistently do grinds, the soul plates just won't last and I would strongly recommend getting something that has replaceable souls... Just in case you find a boot you REALLY love. I also think the Powerslide Next skates are some of the best on the market due to the Trinity frame system. They have some of their most popular models in large sizes still. They fit a little narrow, but mine are nice and broken-in now... I use them all them time (after over five years of regular use.) HOPE THIS HELPS.

A tiny rub of wax under the cuff bolt takes 5 min and will make your skates dead silent forever.

SORRY this is late... I really do wanna help others thinking about investing in these skates. I would try the 11-12 boot first. Cause if you can make that work with a thin liner, you'll for sure have a better time. But if not, then the largest shell might be too big. Maybe something else with a pretty accommodating boot... Like the Rollerblade Blank, Razors SL or USD Sway? KEEP ME POSTED!! Would love to hear what you went with!!

The fr ufr would fit well too the eu 45-47 shell wide flat feet here and fit well

@@lostbearings no worries i do t have quite as big feet as you im a size 11 bit i have the flatest widest feet iv seen to date and manage to get them in the ufr not to many issues few hot spots that went away withing a few skate sessions iv been eyeing the razors sl’s for a while though but no where near me to try skates on
