The scene with Ross is great, a bit of friendly banter while both being respectful of each other. If both parties can leave the interaction laughing then what more can you ask.
@@NicholasAng2000 I think most police do, however yeah it definitely could be better here. But the road blocks they made where they just searched everyone just cause was pretty crazy to me. I've seen that they're doing stuff like this in Texas now I think, and it's just scary. The 4th amendment was supposed to protect us from this type of stuff.
As an Australian citizen the whole concept of "sending my children to kindergarten to be turned into paste by a white supremacist with an ak47" is also foreign. :)
@@Horsesdontbarfit’s cultural. For you that constitution matters more than anything. In Australia we pay gnarly taxes, we expect them to look after us for that. All of this is for our own protection. 72 road deaths this year in my state, actually think that’s one of our worst..
police have a hard enough job make ther job easier by not getting behind the wheel after drinking alcohol or drugs treat them with the respect they deserve god bless them help them stay safe what else can i say they do a great job protecting us 🦄🌈☯️🙏
@@Jonesy1701 I watch RU-vid on my phone mate. And I use RU-vid premium so I can background play. If you want to use sponsorblock on your phone, you have to use RU-vid in your phone’s browser, which I’m obviously not going to do.
I love Aussie cops . They are so gentle and touchy feely .watch how they they worry about the offenders bumping their heads on the top of the paddy wagon so they put their hand over the offenders head to protect it . Oh so sweet and gentle .
The cop says at 25:30 ‘to have people impaired by illicit drugs driving motor vehicles...” who says he was impaired? The drug tests for the presence of illicit substances, not the amount. He might have been off his head the day before and sober now, quite safe to drive, but the test will come up positive. It is total bullshit to say that he is a risk on the road because he had taken drugs days before. The tests should focus on whether the driver has ENOUGH drugs in their system to make the unsafe. But because the drugs are illegal, they like to hammer people. And no, I don’t take drugs, but hate the moralistic bullshit.
Harder drugs such as meth & have after effects the next day, If its just weed it will take 1-3 days before you can drive or it will come up on the roadside test which is stupid, until weed is legalized and proper thc levels are tested on road side thats how its going to be sadly, thats the only reason i stopped smoking weed in the last year
@@Booth- who’s the druggy? As I said, I don’t take drugs. I just hate it when the cops (and government) justify how they apply the law when it makes no logical sense.
@@paulroberts3639 because it’s a methodology of punishing people for taking substances that they shouldn’t mate, i understand your perspective, but the best way to not get done for this kind of stuff is to not take illegal drugs.
If you do drugs on the weekend, doesn't mean you are affected on Monday morning, should only test if they are impaired whilst driving not if it is just in your system. Money making nonsense
Why are Police making a joke of this stuff ? Of course they are remorseful. It s aa woeful drug. Wrong approach by the Police. Make it sound like its OK.
Some of the people the cops pull over they really think the police are stupid Ive seen some stupid people they pull over and think they can get away with it. The fines need to be more heavy
Thats why i haven't spoken to a cop in almost 10years... I almost never drive after dark, drive mostly in peak hour and live in low crime area. 30mins down the road and low income area, you would get pulled over min 10 times a year.
Aussie cops state to state look after who harming Australian community Aussie cops can't stop you are black or white Chinese still looking after our roads
What’s the point of even having bars lol. .05 is literally nothing. That’s one beer and your over smh. Might as well shut down all bars at least in the states it’s .08. That gives you room to have one beer every hour. Witch it totally reasonable .05 that’s insane.y’all ausis need ta Change your laws. Much love from Ohio tho
@@lachlansmith1269 no no no definitely not. Mouth wash will put you at .02 Maybe if your 6 foot 4 and 300 pounds. But the average person it’s one beer an hour.
Why bars need to be shut? Do i have to drink till last minute before i get into car? I cant get taxi, uber to drop me home? People need to be organised thats all. I remember the days when i went clubbing i would have 2 or 3 alcohol drinks(beer) till midnight and after that till 3 AM i wouldnt touch alcohol drink and still can have a good night. People need to take some responsibility and act as an adult and stop blaming the law as a kid.
@@andjelkojovanovic2852 I agree you don’t have to drink to have fun buttttt I think anything below .08 is a little ridicules. Like I said you can decide to go to the bar have one beer. And you need to get home to get to bed for work the next day so you leave once you finish one beer. Get in your car get pulled over and blow a .06 now your telling me that person deserves to be fined? I think that’s completely unconstitutional and borderline phyco. All I can say is I’m glad I live in the US. We still love all ya Ausi s tho
@@Collan-D 2 standard drinks in first hour will raise BAC to 0.05% so having one beer and jumping in the car will not show 0.06%. After that person needs to take some responsibility for their own actions. Everyone is aware of standard drinks and rules and each of them knew they had more than they should have but its just a risk they take and have that mentality cops wont get me. End of the day best practise is not to calculate but have a plan before going to bar. That way driver and other road users are safe.
Seriously who cares if someone has a little meth or coke in them while driving, it’s just going to make them more alert. Where’s the research showing it impairs driving? There are ADD people out there driving on a tonne of Dexamphetamines daily and fatties out there on duramine trying to lose weight. Think it’s kinda stupid charging people for driving whilst on anything but alcohol or opiates. Research on weed shows you don’t driver more dangerously on it, because weed also causes paranoia so people drive more slow and carefully on it, it’s bad when it’s mixed with alcohol. But yeah other depressants slow your reaction time without the paranoia to counter it, alcohol is the bad one because it’s the only drug that’s a depressant, AND it also raises aggression and causes disinhibition which creates a false sense of confidence. When you take into account that old farts have a reaction time ten times slower than young people the whole depressant part of the issue is stupid to criminalise anyway, I could probably drive better and safer in my German sports car with amazing breaks whilst wasted on anything than a 70yo sober person in their shitty old ford falcon. So if you actually want to produce safer roads the only illegal thing should be alcohol levels above an age and car rating adjusted limit. These cops and their superior who make and enforce these rules don’t know crap about the research. One just called methamphetamine “methyl amphetamine”, what a dunce lol Also why do they get away with quantifying alcohol but not other drugs, wtf impact does trace mdma 3 days after taking it have on driving ffs. Anyways feel bad for some of these poor working class people.
