Right on Dude!! Its incredible to see how far this hobby has come in the last 15 years. Great overview.. and you looks and sound really healthy! Happy crawlin'
Dammit Lyle now I got to get a red cat. That thing is pretty cool. I like the size of it. Great video great place you guys have there looks really fun. Glad to see you’re having so much fun. Keep on keeping on brother !!! U2 bushman 💪😎🫵
What a sweet looking rig and the goodies that come with it are what most people upgrade too anyway. I think a new radio would be all you need if the rtr ever shits the bed. Stay safe Lyle and Molly.
Hell YEA Lyle!!!! I have been eyeing this beast for awhile. I'm glad you got one. This might be my first Redcat rig!!!!🤘🤘🤘 The M16s are a bogger/STS's hybrid.
Great video. Great pick. Redcat has come so far. They really are a big contender for sure. That gen 9 ish sweet. But. I think you chose well. Very cool. 🧡😎👍👍
Man great to see you trailin ,great new rig too ,iv got a gen 9 ,it is sweet rig ,iv been lookin into this beast, you might have pushed me over on this one looks and trails great enjoy and happy trails
Yeah man, that ice storm was sumthin else. We just got our power back earlier today. Thank god for generators. That Redcat is a big boy, but man the potential is all there
When I first seen the truck I instantly thought of Sgt. Snot ! So if you don't mind, I called it Captain Monster Booger. I do believe with some mods you'll have another Bada** truck. Props to you and Medic ! Getting those feet wet for the sake of the footage in ice cold water is by no means enjoyable, and then staying with the all till the end takes heart. Most would have said I'm done and packed it in for the day. Thanks for the passion and dedication to making it all happen. It's very much Appreciated ! With that said, here's a toast to you, Medic and Mona Lisa - Fire In The Hole !
That’s awesome congratulations! I wish redcat had came out with that before the Wendigo because I definitely would have bought one of these first! Beautiful scenery at the lake! Thanks for sharing!👍👍😁😎✌️
Hey Lyle! The Redcat Big rig looks nice trail truck and looks very capable stock and with a few tweaks a real performer! I picked a Redcat in a RC collection I bought and unfamiliar with them but it's great rig a 1/5 Chimera pro sandrail buggy it is so fun 6s! Last year I seen they had Redcat Everest Gen 7 Pro on sale cheap so I picked it up 1/10 scale and it is awesome trail truck added to the fleet!😉 That was Crazy out in the woods with the trees and branches down everywhere looked like a Sasquatch went berserk out there! Happy trailing!😉👍📹💯✔️👋👋👋
Absolutely love my Marksmen it is my go to when I go out trailing or rock crawling is great out of the box but I have done some upgrades and customizing have tons of videos on my channel with this rig 🤟
Not sure if you mentioned it or not but the body is one of the "wear to weather" kind. As you scratch up the green exterior paint the orange internal paint starts to show through. My father has one and he loves it. He added desert lizard shocks hobbywing brushless combo treal wheels and a few other things. In general a nice rig. 👌
Very cool truck! The only Trail Truck I own is a Redcat Gen7 Sport. I love it. I want to get a Gen8 or 9 when I can afford it but I really love my Gen7 Sport. That Marksman is amazing though! Great video. Looking forward to more videos :)
Thats awesome! Congrats on the new truck.. I really like Red Cat stuff. I picked up a Gen 8 for my son last year and he is pretty much able to go the same places my TRX4 does and he drive it like a 4 year old ( 5 now ) and has yet to break anything on it.
I’m sure a lot of us subscribers would love some Rc athlete stickers… just saying😉 oh by the way that is a sweet rig. You’ll definitely be happy with it. A friend has one. Very nice👌
Interesting terrain I live in Ca. So mine has only been on rocky loose terrain & it’s done well. I had it out for about a 2hr. trail run & it was a blast found all kinds of little trails to run. Didn’t even get hot & was very good on batteries
Congratulations I’ve had mine since they first came out so along time I’d have to say it’s a very good trail truck my first time at Proline By The Fire event I took it & it did well I’ve done a lot of modes but mostly cosmetic & scale. Metal beadlocks of course & some steering mods to get a little extra out of the steering which we Al know is not great. I’d Love to see a V2 of the Marksmen for sure. Are you out there Redcat??
I have crawled with many trucks running trax, so I built a Sport that floats on everything its pointed at. It is great for pulling out the trucks running the trax 😈
I know from personal experience with 4 or 5 HW 1080 esc's that they are immersion proof. The board has a conformal coating on it. Too, the motor it a HOLMES HOBBIES CRAWLMASTER SPORT 550 13T.
I bought one back in October right while we were packing to move to Missouri and have yet to open it. It'd been too busy getting settled in and fixing problems with our home. Although, I did buy a TRX-4 K10 High Trail and have made time to run it. Hmm...
If you need help with your trails and tracks you want to make just let me know more than willing to come out smoke a few and do a little work.Hope to talk soon.
I already have a gen 8 v2 fully upgraded and i love it so much! I was planning on picking up a new crawler but im in betweeen either this one or the FMS FJ40 1/10.
@someguyprobably havent gotten around to getting a new one yet. Had some things come up and don't have the money for another one right now. But I belive it'll be the fms
@@damedcamera I love this system, its running my lowered high trail. Like 13mph in first gear and 30mph in second gear. Its geared 22-39 and way fun to drive!
