Everything You Need Is Here: www.perfectpassrc.com/ Thank You so much for being a crucial part of my success, journey and passion! Yours truly, Raz Shifrin. #rccars,#razshifrin,#remotecontrolcar,#radiocontrolledcar
In my opinion, speedrun is the coolest part of the rc cars world...but it's also the most brutal and doesn't forgive mistakes of any kind. It takes tons of time, dedication and most importantly, money to keep going... congrats Raz, keep up the great work in front of and behind the camera.
I love the fact you post failures & success its great to get the balance, after watching your vids Ive decided to give speed running a go so have went from 0 speed cars to having 2 & spares to start the journey 😂😊
I am so glad you show your failures, you are so right about the amount of depression people suffer these days because social media only shows the successes.
Sad to see all that destruction and money going up in smoke Raz. I feel your pain but all your positivity made it to my Limitless in Tasmania. Let me say these words... PERFECT PASS MONSTER SERVO. Before I zig zagged up 2 lanes of the highway but now I can chose what side of the white line I want to sit next to. This is the first time I ever I felt at ease driving an rc car. I even ordered another PP MONSTER for my other Limitless tonight. Thanks Raz for all you give back.
Sharing the real truth about the hobby is the best material you can give for your followers. Great atitude, nice vídeo, inspiring to go on and on even with bad days. Congratulations from Brazil, budy
Thank you! Videos like these help me resist on jumping head first to new things and reminds me of how much money I would litterally burn if I would go forward with it. But to be fair, it also gives way more respect to you all that keep hitting those 200 limits, regardless. I would have stopped several cards ago...
Yeah that loss was bad! But look at it this way Raz Shifrin your in great health seems like you have a great life with ups & downs that we all encounter in life!! Your still a great Guy one hell of a builder, speed runner & Developer in RC parts!! Keep that head held hight & keep kickin A$$ man!! Outstanding video as always
Failing is learning, and man... I've learned quite a bit in the last 3 years in this hobby/addiction. I dig your videos and the fact that you never keep your builds secret..... Instruct while destruct! Keep on posting man, even the Wife likes your videos and gives her a little insight into one of my passions.
I'm sorry to hear about the day's challenges and I look forward to the future. Remember, you are literally the best of the best when you hold and or try to improve on a world record. Being the best is never easy! There is a very important lesson in this video that we should emphasize. Your decision *NOT TO TRANSPORT* the failing battery was a wise decision. When you just had an expensive crash, you are thinking 'maybe everything will be okay'. It was not okay. Putting that battery in your car (even in an ammo can) could have turned a bad day into a dangerous and catastrophic day. We all have batteries in our lives and we need to respect the dangers that come with them. Thank You for these lessons...now get back to being the best!
Do you prep the runway before your runs? I would suggest getting a leaf blower or large industrial fan to get rid of the loose dirt and rocks. The United States Airforce requires everyone to walk the runway before flying and pick up ANYTHING that could potentially cause an interference with takeoff or landing. Good runs!
I much rather watch people do speedruns than doing it myself. I couldnt imagine it would be any fun for me to put time into it. I dont even have a street car in my collection. Closest car i got for a street car is a Losi Mini B and thats only because where i run, the rocks and terrain are too big for it. I watch your videos because of the info you share crosses over into my offroad cars and helps understanding the Castle logs a little better.
Just finished the video WAW 😂. All runs were super fast mind 👏. Thank you for showing that you fail also , it’s difficult, Ive had one big one , now I’m just building the speed rather than just going out guns blazing 😊 ❤❤❤❤. Love the videos keep them coming
Good work as always my man. Yeah I'm more your accept your losses, mope a bit if you have to, and come back trying harder (or at least better prepared?) kind of guy. We can't all be positive all the time, sometimes we have lows. Having said that, I try to be kind and positive to those around me. You've managed to get to 211mph, you are running a good businessin your hobby, and it looks like you have a good crowd of guys to go speed running with. All wins in my book. Nice to see the honesty though.
Decades ago, we done away with body clips. 'Bolink' made both plastic and aluminum body mounts that used m3x8 button head screws. It DID reduce drag, & increase speed & lap times (concrete oval back then). Granted it was 10ths of a second, but ANY less drag coefficient helps🤷♂️. Worst case scenario, u can use a regular plastic mount, flatten/mold the top to fit your bodies, put a screw into them.
Ouch!!! Another awesome vid Raz! thank you for showing the highs and lows of this part of the amazing RC hobby, I hope the next outing goes better!! we believe in you!!
Awesome video my brother, I love speed running but I just don't have anywhere to run my cars, and can not find a runway to open the car to its Max's. Nice job Ruz love all your videos 😁💯👍🏿
Puffed LIPOs really are like hand grenades with the pin in it. Controlled burns suck but it certainly beats the battery choosing what random moment it decides to burn up.
WOW,I can see why those lithium batteries are soooo dangerous in your car or on an airplane ✈️ 🤔 Keep it up, you speed demon😊 Always entertaining, Razz...
Nice Video Raz.... We had a similar time at the last rossa... Nothing went the way I'd expected... It does knock my confidence and makes me question why I even bother..... But it only takes one of the boys to hit a pb and I remember why I do. It all.... Keep Pushing raz❤
I would argue since a lot of people or at least a few are just copying your builds if you were to hide something going wrong and it happened to somebody else... Plus it's good to know what works
But Raz you know these are the best videos too watch!!😁 we all know your an amazing builder!! Love when you show and explain amp drops and cuts. Don’t get too see that much!!🤙🏻👍🏻 keep um foam down buddy!! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥🏎️💨
Caca happens , Amigo. Fun fact , a classic Cadillac wheel covers/ hubcaps sounds exactly as a Gong when hit by the lil all stock Bandit vxl pushing a puny 64 mph . No fires like yours, just bent like pretzel shock shaft . Tomorrow ? Its gonna be a better day , a rebuilding day.
7:11 FINALLY someone knows what's what. KT runs multiple times on the same wheels and tires and is upset that they blow apart. Bugatti does speed runs on their cars, 1 run per set of tires at something like $20,000 for a set of 4. Why? because they don't last..... Raz, if I was in your area I'd buy you a drink or two.....
Raz buddy another awesome video buddy and your 100% right in what you say the more you think about the same thing the worse your day is and is something happens it happens just let it go and it get on with your day always love your videos Raz my brother :)
Awesome video! Bummer to lose a battery like that. I'm surprised however that you would initiate the fire on the tarmac instead of in the dirt? That kind of heat could re-melt the asphalt and burn the oil out of it -leaving a nasty pot hole... Maybe having a little hibachi or barbecue grill handy could be a good thing?
Speed runs to me are absolutely mind-blowing. I get excited when I can get my Maxx to go over 60mph, lol... I mean, how in the world do you see your car at the start and finish?? They must be so far away and then in a blink of an eye it passes you!!
Since the video is about telling failures and problems: I just now started with the hobby of RC Cars, I do not have much budget so I bought a WLTOYS 12429, the first week of use fallonel engine, I could repair it and the second week the electronics fail. I bought another one already with brushless motor and in the first test I crashed and broke it (nothing that can not be fixed).😂😂😂 But life is like that, problems arise, losses, falls and one is high and overcomes
12:08 ammo boxes are good but if one of those things lit off, you'd need something wrapped in refractory blanket. I'd look into picking up some. This is the stuff they wrap kilns, and forges with....they can handle 5000 F. Look in your area for refractory supply.
I crashed my Xpress drag yesterday was the second run with a new setup in it after waiting all winter I believe it was a new PB what I didn’t set up the speed controller correctly. Time to rebuild and try again 🇦🇺
@@TheGeezzer yeah I know mate and James McCoy has like 219mph. It's totally nuts nowadays,I used to race rc cars 30+ years ago and the difference in speeds is incredible. You can buy a fairly cheap ready to run car now that's faster out the box than a professional kit was back then. I bought a wltoys 124017v2 for about £130($160) a couple of years ago just to see if I was still interested and it goes 40mph + on 2s and 50mph on 3s and that's a cheap entry level car. It's faster than everything at the club used to be,lipo batteries and brushless motors have made such a difference. The main thing stopping the cars now is the tyres,I'm sure if they sort that then we'll be seeing 250mph in the near future
