Did I see a snake sneaking behind the desk? min13:15 As for the travel workshops, landscape photographers do it all the time. I see it more of the opportunity to travel to a location or track and experience a day track or several days tracks with a host that knows the hobby. Great video and very useful masterclass. Greetings from UK

So Chargers RC is my home track and I'm one of the consistent A Main 2wd and 4wd stock drivers. The 1st double after the loop that goes into the bowl right handed, best thing to do there is power to the jump then let off as you get to it and whole jump comes together smoothly with the right handed. With the triple I'm one to do the triple all race in both classes but 2wd stock you need quite a run up to make it so between double single and triple it comes down to how the cars set up and your ability to piece it all together 🤙And of course this video is the only race meet I didn't do due to racing R2 of 1/8 state championships the day before 😭 When you get a chance Ryan come down to Australia 🤘 Chargers RC is located in Carole Park, Brisbane and it's open 24/7 and is free to use for 1/10 cars as it's owned by the council. Cheers Jordan 😉

Even after 20 years of off and on rc racing (while begging and hoping for these sort of clinic style training videos), you and Ray Munday(spell?) are FINALLY doing it!!! Ray's videos have been very helpful and especially heavy on the physics of racing, which is great and essential, but this style of analyzing driver technique is priceless. My wife and I actually work at my local track (World Of RC/Thunder Ally, in Lucama N.C.😉), and I can't wait practice these driveline tips tomorrow. I've just completed my Tekno EB48 2.0 build, and she's about to get dirty! Thanks for being such a huge asset to rc racing, Ryan, you're the best!

They technique the pros have mastered on landing jumps is a lot like what you see BMX racer do when they pump their body on the landing to get the bike to spring forward....only RC racers aren't in the car to manipulate it and have to get it done with the transmitter, but they are amazing and make it work.

@carbidetipped4895

I think, one of the things we are seeing is; the drivers are all attempting to hit the jumps straight on. This makes sense when; going the straight line through the chicane results in hitting the table eschew. Since the landing is a prevailing left, we'd flick our wheels to the right, in the air, to make sure the vehicle doesn't flip going into the left hand corner. These guys are really good straight forward drivers. And keeping the chassis level while jumping angles is a very challenging skill. I can understand this is all going.

I will help support this mission. I am older, retired and recently got into RC racing at the 1/8th scale level. I have raced cars and motorcycles most of my life. With that in mind, I need to learn fast and not waste a lot of time (gaining experience). I have suggested to a couple of pro/UT guys that a racing/driving school ( like I taught /attended with full scale ) seems to be missing in this motorsports arena. I am in Texas so seeing you may be difficult but I love your filming style, professionalism, talent and passion. I will be signing up to help and hopefully discuss how I can help further in the future. Thanks, cliff

I noticed he was landing nose up quite a bit especially on front straight. In "stock" racing adding a little drag brake may help get correct attitude in air. Some drivers get into a bad habit of staying on throttle in the air especially on a wide open section, this has helped a few people I know.

Looks like there is a mini bowl and definitely a back berm after that first double. My guess is it's one of those track tricks to get you to overshoot to the berm thinking it will get you though the corner faster but as we see in the video it's not. As for the triple, you can see the blue groove is well away from the apex before it, likely from everyone giving themselves the distance needed to clear the triple. The inside line is likely so loose you might not even make the double or just spin out. Watching the other cars in the race, lots of people overshot the first double and nobody took the corner before the triple tight. This looks like a fun track.

The track has a Sic Surface® top layer. It's like driving on sandpaper so grip is not really an issue but wind down the front straight can be. Before the recent track layout change the Back straight went the full-length(a straight shot) berm to berm.
