Why the capacitor? I have little idea about what capacitor does in this case. Once I used a 7.4v Li-ion battery to run a WPL C14 RTR (Stock Receiver and Stock Motor). It ran for a moment. But later the Receiver got damaged. Like the Steering Channel started to stutter and finally not working any more but Forward and Backward channel was working. FIY I am talking about the built-in Receiver that come with the WPL RTR version. And I'm talking about the receiver channel. There was nothing wrong with motor or anything else.

I’m sorry for the late reply Any Tamiya motor can use any code. Find the right size capacitor, 5 to 100 MF, and use only one lipo cell. hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-nano-tech-500mah-1s-25-50c-lipo-pack-losi-mini-compatible-1.html
