RCC 2019 Drumline: WGI Finals Week 

If you didn't know before, I think this video should serve as evidence that PIW medals aren't awarded based on musical ability or technical demand, but rather show concept, execution and ability to easily convey a message. With the right show/concept, this book could have easily won a medal. The reality is that, at this level, it's really out of the kids' hands and is essentially a war of design and innovation. That being said, this is absolutely on par the musical excellence we've come to expect from RCC. Overall, wish the kids could be rewarded more. Just my $0.02

Damn that dude has been with them forever. Used to watch clips of them when he was marching and playing "shake hands with beef" and all that back in '03 or sometime around then. very cool he has stayed with the program.

let's be real for a sec, those 13" sb snares didn't sound that great, the 14" snares are definitely better for sound imo, tenors and bass sound great. anyways, god I love RCC books
