Goodbye JBL PRX ONE! Never heard these but my personal RCF rig: TT10's over 702 subs. Super portable/lightweight. I describe the TT sound as Studio Monitor clarity at 129dB! Can't think of a column array that can compare.
I’ve had phenomenal success with prx ones however I I think a small 15 sub might give them just enough extra punch ! But nx24 over a 15 might be the best possible set up
Do you think TTL-4A can deliver same output as NX44 while being smaller and lighter? Maybe better sound quality by using better quality components? RCF recommends single 18 as TTL-4A companion... That looks weak, since you discovered one dual 18 TTS36 can be outpowered by one NX44. What do you think?
I think you partially hit the nail on the head. A lot of the price in the 4A is down to the superior TT build/Capabilities. The build and construction is more "no nonsense" , the NX is a "Lite" version. Its construction and capabilities express this. With the 4A, the ability to swap around the drivers, the heavy duty rigging options & flyware flexibility installed, the extensive onboard DSP, the inclusion of RDNET and the extra power are a result of its price I think single 18 recommendation is due to the tight and direct focus of the 4A's output. I also believe it may suit and could suit a double 18 Hope this helps
I really appreciate all of your reviews. I bought a while ago back the RCF Art 945-A's, and your review was spot on with it. They were loud, but they just didn't have enough low end for my liking. I currently run with Evolve 50's and am looking for more of a traditional speaker to use for bigger venues. I've looked closely at the EV ETX 18's, the JBL SRX 815P's and the RCF Art 945A's. I also came close to pulling the trigger on the RCF HDM45A's, which you seem to really like, but I have my heart set on the BassBoss DV12 MK 2's, which is what I plan to buy once I have saved enough to do so... they are quite expensive. I would love to hear your review of them, if you ever get a chance to do so. Thanks again for all of your great reviews! They are very helpful!
Thanks Tim. I have never had a demo of them, I don't even think they sell here. I think you'll have saved for yours before I see or hear them. They have a distinctive look so I'll keep an eye out for them
after watching a lot of PA equipment videos and owning PA.. due to COVID pandemic.. I ended up selling everything and purchased 9.1.4 Immersive Audio Dolby Atmos Studio System. Congratulations on your new purchase! From event management to something else. My journey is surprising even me. Let's see how it goes.
I had used cases with castors that were not for theses speakers but the cases accommodated each speaker with room to spare (generous fit) At the moment they're in my lockup and will be there for a while. When I am using the speakers more often, I'll get purpose fit cases
Always look on your Channel for best reviews I had the 745,s About 3 years ago Recently purchased The 935,s and the 912,s Sold the 935,s kept the 912 As a good match for the 18 subs Was going to get the 945,s But I see in a review They don't have the Lower End What would you recommend for column speaker for playback audio dj not live ? Thanks love the channel
Thanks for this, so little info out there on theses units. Just wondering on what your thoughts were regarding the 25deg vertical dispersion and how that works in use ?
The dispersion is faultless whether in an intimate or larger event area. Focus is generous enough to maintain its throw clarity/quality. Needs a demo to be appreciated. Blind audition, TT sound in NX guise
@@opaz. actually just noticed there is a NXW 44-A which is similar to NXL 44A Mk2 but with 100 x 50 deg dispersion... maybe the better bet for an all-rounder where smaller venues (
Hi, thanks a lot for this review. I thought of buying myself a pair of NXW 44-A, how do you think they will sound on smaller venues, like for 100 - 200 people ? Thanks for your reply.
Congrats, and thx for the upload! Personally I loved the outfit of the mk1 better, they would have suited my 8003asII subs, but they are not available anymore, and the specs of the mk2s are better, so I guess I will go for them. But if 4 TTS36 subs were not enough for two of these I'm in trouble with 6 pieces of 8003s :))
The TTL6 is maybe the equivalent of 3-4 44's. I was thinking of getting a couple, depending what 2023 holds. For the price, the 44's are good value Enjoy 👍🏻
