The third RCI Offroad Skid Plate in the set is the Transfer Case Skid Plate. This gets installed directly behind the Transmission skid. This might be the most important skid plate to install because this section has never had any protection, ever.
The one we are installing is a 1/4" Aluminum version. The added cross member helps hold the skid plate into place while keeping everything streamlined.
The install is very simple, and you don't need many tools.
12mm Socket/wrench
13mm Socket/wrench
16mm Socket/wrench
Torque Wrench
and maybe a buddy to help hold the skid plate up.
