Finally, someone who actually GETS IT. Like the feeling I get every time I see an original Blackfoot which was my first hobby grade RC. How I felt seeing on the shelf in the mall, and how angry my dad was when I skipped school, got on a bus to go buy it at 11 years old. Anyone that feels those same feeling as me, I consider a instant friend. Absolutely epic collection Keith.
Yeah my parents went damn stupid crazy when I brought my collection of RC cars. Some Tamiya and some Kyosho. They went mental. Like is it jealousy? I got a hobby and they don't. I don't have to support any family or wife and kids , I'm not working for an employer as a slave to raise a family and buy a house like my parents. My hobby is everything to me and I don't want to get married and have kids screw that. I never did. And then be working like a slave for the rest of my life!! My parents think I'm sick and mentally ill really badly. So bad they should be put in a hospital. I don't give a crap what they did because that's not what I'm going to do. I had my RC cars and mountain biking and BMX. That was my life and I didn't want to be a slave just because I met some girl and start a family. Damn it if I meet a girl I don't want the excess baggage of working my balls off. It's akin to her dragging me around with a rope tied to my balls only because I had sex with her ! EXCUSE ME BUT NOBODY OWNS ME. TO ME IT WAS ONLY SEX NOT MY LIFE. And I won't be like my parents. This is not me being critical of Keith from RC icons , no it's not. I'm just explaining how my parents went crazy because I wanted a hobby and have threatened to throw all my RC cars and my bikes out onto the street because my parents are sick mentally ill losers.its me explaining how I wanted a collection of RC cars and I couldn't because my parents suck shit. And I'm not a young child I'm 50 years old , it's my parents who are damn slaves to society not me. Keith your channel is absolutely AWESOME man a Nd no criticism to you at all. Ok I just had to vent because I may have had all my possessions thrown away by now 😭😭
Another top video. Any genuine person watching you can tell this isn't a "look how great I am" chanel, just an honest guy with a genuine love of the hobby and the resources to bring it all together for us all to see. I salute you my friend. Thank you. Also they may not fit with the chanel as such but I for one wouldn't mind seeing the odd cool semi truck.
Kieth, WOW you have a wonderful collection there and I get you, you are fortunate enough to get and own these cars and buggy’s and trucks and to share it with us is FANTASTIC mate 😍😍😍 I’ll never own any of those stunning kits you have but I honestly don’t care because NOW I can get to see them here 🤓😍😂 you’re so like Glenn his passion overflows in him… ummm he’s genuine, can’t hide his joy, and why should he OR you 😳😃👍 you’ve been kind enough to let us see your collection and although all to brief you spoke about each one and you can hear the love you have for them 😍😍😍 and for me that’s what it’s all about, NOT oh you peasants you don’t have this 😳😳😳 smug, rude, lording it over us 😳😳😳 you don’t do that you’re just happy to share some of the rarest, coolest, most beautiful kits in the world that with out you we wouldn’t be able to see, in a magazine yes but on video NO 😢😢😢 so NEVER think is this to much am I being a snob or anything like that ok without people like you, Glenn, RCKicks Gavin and many many others people like me wouldn’t be as exited or love this hobby half as much as we do I promise you this 🤓 your being kind enough to share your collection with us it’s… unheard of, it’s like he’s doing WHAT 😳😳😳 and yes unfortunately you’ll get some people say what the hell are you doing do you know how rare that car is 🤬🤬🤬 SOD them you know yourself what these cars mean what they represent and for you to share them with us… if I could I’d hug you just for showing them to us, sharing the wonderful buzz you have and showing the love you have for them the care, the devotion I suppose 😃😍👍 anyway I’m waffling again… sorry I get carried away 😂😂😂 bet you wish by men in white coats 🤓😂😂 anyway just know I think what your doing is fantastic, no I don’t think your being big headed, your doing US a huge honour by sharing these beautiful kits so THANK YOU 🙏👍👍👍 and thank you Taiwan Kenny 🤓😂👍 all the very best for the channel and to you Kieth 🙏🤞😃👍👍👍 Kenny 😃👍👍👍👍👍👍
That was fantastic! Saw alot I haven't seen. I'm surprised you didn't have the Toyota, Chevy and Ford true stadium trucks TA-02 chassies. One of my favorites.
These have been two great videos. Its like an online museum of Tamiya history. I started RC when I was 10 years old and saw a neighbour driving his Sand Scorcher. I was blown away. He recommended I get a Frog, and guess what I begged for (and got) for Christmas that year. Now, 38 years later I just received my re-re Frog kit and I'm looking forward to spending a day by myself building it. My third car was a Super Shot, and I have a Super Hotshot kit sitting by the Frog kit on the shelf waiting to be built. My second car was the the original Pajero, and I always have an eye out for a kit coming up for sale. Some day I'll find it, but for now the hunt is almost as fun as the builds.
Thanks for sharing the RC awesomeness! Looking forward to catching up on the channel and appreciate your passion for the hobby. Your perspective on doing it because it makes you happy is exactly the point. This video made me smile so many times. Keep it up man.
Omg mind blowing you have two new in box falcons wow your collection is superb you remind me of glen as like myself they bring back memories and good times and also they always put a smile on your face when you build or drive them great video mate
My boys are great. A great day for me is when my 8 year old takes his self built hornet and my 11 year old takes his self built tc01 out. They are great little builders and love to run them as well.
Outstanding collection! Your closing statement about the love of rc and sharing your journey was fantastic. Thank you for taking the leap into showcasing everything you have on RU-vid 😎
Thank you Owen, I know you feel the same way. You watched one of Glenn’s videos from 5 years ago and worked your tail off to turn something you saw into a business opportunity. Now the entire rc community has access to bodies that otherwise would have been lost to time.
Phenomenal collection Keith I totally blown away with your collection Two Porsche 959’s Wow Ford F-150 ranger XLT Is my favourite of all lists as it was my first tamiya that my father built me when I was a child Sooooo looking forward to your builds 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
G'day Keith wow what a beautiful collection you have your work cut out for you building all them can't wait to see you do it on the tube I'll be watching mate 👍👍
Wow!!! Amazing collection Keith. Thanks for sharing it with Glenn as much as you have and for putting together this channel and sharing it directly. The cars are good but your open and honest closing was my favorite part. Keep it real (as Glenn does). You have a lot of building to get on with. If you need help let me know!
Egress heaven! By far my favorite Tamiya ever. One day I will own one... one day! Outstanding collecting, Keith. Truly. Last five minutes of the minute is REAL TALK! Looking forward to the build videos!
Wow, that is a lot of super kits. Like most people i had cars back when i was younger and finally got my original Manta Ray out of the loft and got back in to the hobby and now i have 7 and counting. Great hobby and good memories.
WOW!! It is my dream hobby shop in there! I have taken a couple things away from this video... 1, I am showing it to my wife so she sees I am not the only one that wants them all! 2, I am super excited to see some of these on upcoming episodes because I doubt I will ever own one myself! 3, This may be what I dream of tonight and many nights to come and finally 4, I love your honesty and willingness to put it out there that you are not doing this to show off and just razzle dazzle a big collection on RU-vid but you want to share with us the cool cars that are really hard to find and like you said, may never get to see built otherwise. Thank you for opening up your home, your collection and taking your time to do this! You could easily sit there in your hobby wonderland and live a completely happy existence but you have decided to do a bit more and take the extra time to share it with us so thank you!
My heart skipped more than just one beat!! Omg what a collection and you have more than one of my dream omg!! Good luck with the channel and I will really enjoy your videos moving forward 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇺🇸🇺🇸
Keith, thanks so much for taking the time to run us through your kit collection. I am blown away and excited to see future kit builds on your channel. I've subscribed. Cheers
Unbelievable collection Keith cannot believe how many Lambo kits you have! The CS No. 8 is one of my favourites, I just need to locate some missing parts on mine to make it complete.
Wow Keith, What a collection. And I can’t thank you enough for starting this channel. The content we have coming is absolutely mouth watering. I am writing this with a huge smile on my face knowing what is in store for us and if that makes you happy sharing this with us good on. Can’t wait for the next instalment. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Wow... I watched your first video and this one right after. One hour and 15 minutes of rc awesomeness...👍 Thank you for sharing your amazing collection with us. Allready looking forward to the first build video. Keep them coming! Cheers, Ruud
OMG I thought my 3 Top Forces were pushing it but your Top Force collection takes the biscuit.. thats an amazing collection of NIBs.. and plenty to keep you busy... so many unicorns... you are one lucky guy Keith.. money aside finding some of these must have been a real mission...
Totally understand how you feel Keith and it’s great to see another guy that ❤ RC the way you do.I love Vintage RC as my dad was into Rc back in the day and love our play time with him and now my son is of age too play.I have the Subaru Brat and sand scorcher in kit which I’ll build with my son.On the hunt for a MadCap and some parts to do up a Fog for my son I found last year.I got to find Glen some years ago and love his RU-vid channel and me jumping onto your channel and subscribing.Keep up the good and look forward to your other video as there will be a lot of them with all the fantastic builds you have to do.From us boys in NewZealand 😊
Quality over quantity. That's how any collection should be done. Good work, sir! I'm a big fan of RC, with 30 years on the hobby and almost 300 models from different brands. My Two favourite cars of my collection are the Tamiya Street Devil (one in box, bought in japan, another one restored just for display) And the first iteration of the Lotus Tyrrell P-34 wich I found at a flea market in Germany about 15 years ago. Sadly, modern RC cars can't bring the same sensations of those early models from the 70's, 80's and 90's.
I totally get that. I will end up adding an original tyrell p34 at some point. Should have bought 2 already but keep hesitating for some reason. Always end up looking at them though. Thanks
super stoked to follow what you’re planning on sharing but would like to also politely request an occasional detour into things like the mammoth dump truck and your semis!
What an amazing attitude you have, you have me thinking about my pride and note that I sold when things got tough a few months ago, my blazing blazer and Toyota pick up, these things bring happy memories to many so thanks for showing us your collection, wish you the best of luck!
@@rcicons4915 thank you, hope everything goes as well as I think it will. I am sure that you have far to many of these comments to reply to so I will keep it brief by saying thanks for doing what you are doing also as a kyosho fan could you please try and do a vanning build?
Hi Keith, another amazing video. Your collection blows me away! It’s incredible. I’m so glad you decided to share your love of rc with the community and I can’t wait to see some of those build videos. Only in my wildest dreams did I think I would get to see some of those kits being built 😃 Thank you so much for taking the the time to put this channel together, it’s going to be a fantastic journey.
Keith , I am lost for words. I reckon you would give my local hobby shop a run for its money with the amount of stock you have. Some very sweet pieces indeed. Amazing 👏. Fair few pieces on my " one day " list With regards you giving away / passing on a few cars , please stand up and take a bow . Extremely kind and generous of you . Amazing gesture my friend, well done to you . Looking forward to future content
Very nice collection Keith. I am looking forward to watching more videos. Just like you I get great enjoyment from this hobby. My passion is the restoration side of rc. I love the challenge of finding a neglected classic and having the satisfaction of hunting for parts and bringing it back to its original new like condition. Congratulations again on a very nice collection and thank you for sharing it with everyone.
I would just like to add I really enjoyed your walkthrough of your boxed collection. Their are two cars that have totally eluded me the original astute and the super sabre both of which I used to dream about and drool over in my tamiya catalogue that my uncle gave me when I was a kid. I would love to build either of these kits for the experience, but I’ve got to say I am really looking forward to watching a build on your show of one or both. 😊😬🤙🏼
Thanks Simon, I just finished restoring my astute to mint condition. It will be up on the channel in July. The super Sabre will get built new at some point.
You don't need to justify anything Keith! Hell l could not stop myself from boasting if l had your collection lol but we can see and know exactly how you feel! For sure without doubt passion for the hobby is what we all have in common! What ever the size, cost or type of our own personal collections! I am looking forward to seeing some of those rare builds for sure! Fantastic stuff again cheers James.
Great Collection. You've worked hard to gather all of those and by sharing with us it kind of makes us feel relieved that there are people like you that are collecting and these kits are being spared and not thrown away. Bring it on, I'll watch every second.
Keith You Taste in Kits and Vintage Cars are second to none will definitely be loving the viewing pleasure of some kits like you said that are just not on RU-vid and the fact that sharing these via vlogs from you makes you happy shows the nature of you as a person and a hobby enthusiast , kudos to you bud :-) cheers again and will look forward to Saturdays video for sure :-)
That took me back to visiting the model shops with my late father. Thanks for bringing the memories back. No one on here thinks you are showing off, we are just grateful to be able to see these cars and watch them get built. Can't wait for the kyoshos although I am I tamiya man.
Hey Keith, i commented on your other video, I have been in and out of the hobby since the Sand Scorcher days. 1980 ish, never before has such humbleness come across on a YT video. Your collection is just biblical and i really wish you all the best and success with your channel. I am now thinking how long in years it's going to take you to build the kits you stated. awesome man, keep it up Dean
Fantastic stuff dude….your collection certainly makes me happy, not to mention a little green with envy too!😊 Keep up the buying spree and looking forward to the builds as well 😍
Amazing collection, brought back memories of visits to rc shops as a kid. i very much look forward to seeing some of these builds. i only owned a few cars back in the day but have built a few re releases and am hooked on the builds.
This is pretty amazing, I understand what you are doing. I was into RC back in the 80's and got back into it a few years ago. I love seeing the vintage RC It takes me back to when I first got into it. Look forward to seeing your build videos. A good start to your channel 👍
Can't wait to see some of these vintage builds, amazing collection, cool channel, you seem like a genuine, generous guy, really hope this channel takes off for you, thanks for sharing 👍
Hideously jealous. I can’t afford anything like this, but it is an awesome collection. I especially love your Porsche 959 kits and your “SRB” kits. My very first RC car was a Rough Rider and I have been looking to get one to build again ever since. (My original got lost in the shuffle during one of my moves while in the Navy). I’m not really all that familiar with the non-Tamiya kits, so it is neat to see all the variety.
Just keep trying. I have a lot of cars I never thought I would have. They will present themselves when the time is right.I know it sounds crazy but I wouldn’t have what I have without constant persistence and patience.
Don't let anyone judge you, I'm glad you are sharing this collection with us. I would love to be in same positon to be able to build a collection as awesome as this. Enjoy every moment building and collecting these kits!
Nice collection. I can't wait to see you build these. It's gonna be fun to watch. I used to work at a hobby store in the mid-90s and had an okay collection of Tamiya's because of it. I was really glad to see that Stadium Blitzer, because that was the first Tamiya I ever built. I got out of the hobby in about 2002, but am starting to get back into it. I only have a Subaru XV 01 Rally and the TT-02 Touring Car at the moment. I used to be able to do a basic build in like 1 1/2 hours now it takes about 4-5 hours. I forgot how much fun they were. I hope to build my new collection to at least 10.
That is great Ryan. It is a love that never really leaves us. I got back into it 3 years ago with new age stuff and vintage about 2 years ago. It is all about putting a smile on your face.
I c where all the force kits are why i cant get one lol and here I am with 70 kits built and unbuilt from 1984 to present and i thought i was a tamiya addict awesome collection 👀👀👀👀👀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
Another great showing Keith your collection to press is amazing 🤩 thanks again for sharing, looks like there’s going to be great content up coming well done 👍
I totally get it and I really appreciate you sharing this amazing collection with us and I definitely will be looking forward to seeing all those awesome kits get built 👍
Honestly, I just want a nice community of followers enjoying what is happening on the channel. Seems like we are headed in that direction which is great.
Hi Keith. 👋 I've been at this hobby for awhile now, and I must say you're collection is awesome. I love to build kits. I'm not much of a driver. I've been craving to do an avante, but financially it's difficult for me. I'm looking forward for more videos from yah brother.
Definitely my kind of channel 😁lol, where to start... I'm blown away with that collection Keith absolutely stunning. To see the joy, passion and respect you have for the hobby is amazing 👍👍 Also your generosity is first class, the way in which you think of other people and their channels is ore inspiring.❤️ Absolutely love the channel and what you do and I look forward to watching each and every one 😁👊👊👊👌👌👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you. No, not yet. Hard to find original Schumacher kits. Just picked up some pb kits, hirobo alien mid nib and an original worlds car nib though. All stunning kits.
That was incredible, i would say you have a serious problem 😂 but, its a problem i think we would all love to have. I am really looking forward to seeing the builds, the content is going to be amazing 👍
@@rcicons4915 i think the videos are awesome this far, can't wait to see all the new builds and the natural progression of the channel. You have done so well to get to this point and i really hope the channel goes from strength to strength, it deserves too 👍
1st thank you for the look at your collection. As for your collection I am so blown away every kit I had as a kid still have and always wanted is there so unreal can’t wait to see what’s to come thanks again!
WOW, that is just mind blowing. I've been looking for some of these kits and I can really appreciate the effort you must have put in to build this collection. Highlights for me are the Dyna Blaster and Storm along with the Terra Conqueror and DB02. I can't wait to see some of these on the channel.
Love your collection ...thank you for sharing ...like the egress and vanquish ...how i wish i could have one... just starting to have a smalll ollection too....i wish someday ii could get the egress my dream rc
Wow oh wow I don't know to say. I just started to restoring a couple of vintage car and the chase of parts is a thrill. Just recently picked up a vintage Tamiya Fox and a Academy Galaxy buggy. I have really enjoyed watching your videos keep up building. .
Wow quality Keith to see all them avantes and egress there makes me so jealous theses are my dream kits to build but just can't afford them there prices have gone through the roof congratulations on your collection pal it's awesome
Oh the memories! I had an original Avante race edition that I painstakingly paid off bit by bit with my paper round money when I was a kid haha. Sadly I parted with it long time ago - dumb move.. Ended up buying my friends Hotshot and Falcon too...
That is awesome. I started with the Blackfoot and basically stayed with the trucks as a kid. I guess I was a basher back then. Wanted to race but couldn’t afford a high end race car. Thanks for watching. Be sure to tune into Tamiya legends tomorrow. Big plans.
