Love all the rare kits Keith! FYI, I think I have 3 of the Raider Pro tires - new. Yeah only 1 rear. I’ll reach out to see if you’re interested. Cheers, Jer
Great lot of cool cars! I think if you take all the stuff out of that Beagle box the stripped cardboard bottom has printing from other packaging on it. I am pretty sure that is the one I am thinking of and they had that striped bottom and then on the other side it'' be something like a tool box or something like that. Be interested if yours is like that or not. Get the re-re of the Tyrrell car as it is the same as your kit but with foam tires. I'd keep that one as a new in box and get the other to run around and tear up. It is super low and you chew up the chassis quickly running around. Have fun them all and I won't say I'm jealous but maybe a little envious! LOL I appreciate you showing them to us and I am loving seeing all the cool kits!
Bro, you're living the RC life that 99% of us would love to live. No shame in that. Congratulations and good on you. It's also why I enjoy the channel. That's why I'm scrambling to buy pieces from my race kits. Keep current and competitive but I dream of buying some retro cars especially the first car that my father had when I was just a little kid. But I never quite never got running right. I believe it nico white thunder , that'll be my holy Grail besides collecting some vintage Kyosho. But I love the channel man. It's refreshing and good to see it. Presented and look at it the same way that I would so it kind of makes it more special. But anyhow, don't get down on yourself for being an addict. We're all a addicted to something at the end of the day. As long as we feeding our family and the bills are paid , let cards fall where they may! I'm doing this while I'm driving home from work so if there's any typos that's why! later on!!!!🦀🦀🦀🦀🦀🦀
I actually laughed out loud when you popped your head between the two Hirobo boxes and said.....Hello..I'm Keith and I'm an addict🤣. Loved the video 😎😎😎👍
Great collection and info. I'm not really buying anymore vintage stuff. I'm here once and just look forward to the newer stuff so I can run them and enjoy them. I do collect alot though.
I love it all. I run my new age bashers and crawlers. Buggies, construction equipment and semi trucks. My vintage collection just happens to be what I put on RU-vid. Just love all aspects of this hobby.
Love the Yokomo! Never had one, but they just ooze the pinnacle of RC race quality. Totally agree on the comment re fake kits/partial kits. Understand why you don't want that.
Thanks, Just trying to get ones that are factory correct. Fine with yok hop ups but I don’t want one that is half Factory Works. Have to be careful when buying them. It is crazy how much fake or reproduced parts there are on some of them. There are a couple eBay sellers that are known scammers trying to sell them as vintage cars. They were literally produced last month in China. They are making almost all the parts themselves.
Lol your definitely addicted Keith 🤣, never heard of the 3 of the same make but there's one of my favourite looking RC's (Fast attack)❤️, also really like the Renault 5. And welcome yokomo lol,👍👍
G'day Keith mate that little Kyosho is sweet they drive so good a real race car. Lol when I worked at hobby shop I was an R/C addict and I had $1000 a day habit. But sadly no R/C shop any more cold turkey. Wow man the Spirit FF is a dream car what a find mate awesome 👍👍
And nice work. And I’m addicted to been into lot 1/5 gas last stuff right now I’m not got anything going. But soon. I’m pick up something to put together. Got me db200 lathe mill machine. Good for lacking parts. And I was backyard basher to. And loved it
I believe it's nih-kee-mo :) I think you're gonna need a bigger room soon! The Pegasus was such a neat car. Lot's of 'ahead of it's time' ideas. Including the motor sink with blow through induction. I have a mint one myself. Terrified to drive it. Heavy as hell...
Yes it is. I am up to 3 built and 1 NIB. I think they are such a great looking car. Hoping to turn one into a Midships at some point. Just landed a nib Vantage so it would be cool to have both caged cars.
Great video Keith very cool to see all these cars! I also feel a little intimidated when looking at yokomos - I’ve bought built cars I thought were original only to be told by someone else when I went to sell them they weren’t 😄
@@rcicons4915 I read one of your other comments and you mention 10 years clear of alcohol. Well done! For the first time in 25 years I’m 10 months completely clean from drugs! I just spend the money on my Tamiya display/collection 😂😂
Another great video Keith.. absolutely appreciate your collection, and all new additions to it, and I think a lot of us feel that way.. have a great day my friend
I still think that 94 is really cool. In my opinion its worth more in the collector market than a base model non specced up 94. Its a really nice example Nice to see soo many great cars come through to your rc museum.
Very cool kits... but you are a very bad influence lol.... watching your channel, I keep learning about old "new to me" RC brands. LOL....That invader by Hirobo seems really cool.... I'm looking forward to some of those Nichimo kits being built or showcased... Keep it up buddy.
OMG Keith, every Time i watch one of your videos i learn something new. Love these long and informative vids. keep up the great work and the kits coming ;)
@@rcicons4915 I’m still on the hunt for any of that platform that’s in my price range. I just think they’re the coolest of all the Tamiya’s. The Tamiya engineers literally copied them off of the Baja buggies of the day. So cool!!
There some great cars half of them i have never heard of before but they look like great quality cars in fact i saw a alien mid new in box on ebay i think only two weeks ago Keth was that you that bought it lol. two years wow that would probably take most people a lifetime to collect all those wonderful cars. Awesome.
that's fine to overlap the kits, its an education, you can get into specifics, like ball diffs, one ways, etc. I heard one secret to success in talk radio is to talk about what you want talk about, that Tyrrell looks too good in the box, Do the Ree Ree instead.
Really nice cars 👍👍. Pulling up a third alien mid 😂. I really like the box art of the Spirit FF, looks cool. I have built a Tamiya FAV as a Beach Buggy, and I can tell you, it's a lot of stuff to paint. Even dampers and small nuts and washers has to be painted.
Hahaha I love your videos and your dedication to RCs ! I’m just about to watch this episode and I love it is almost an hour long. Gonna need some popcorn 🍿 😂
My collection is first built cars, if I am able to add a kit after with great presentation then I will. The built part will always be the priority though.
@@rcicons4915 I'm a tamiya guy but like you I love the build so I'm loving watching the vast amount of different manufacturers you are collecting and building
I really like the Luminous. It reminds me a lot of the Saint Dragon, which I wanted to have in my small collection for so long and I finally succeeded this year :)
@@rcicons4915 I just found a built Luminous with all oldschool elctronics (never run outside) for 450 EUR on Ebay Kleinanzeigen in Germany. Paintjob is not boxart. Tires and everything else look new.
Some sweet new additions Keith . For me the 2 that are simply awesome, the Renault 5 Turbo and the Fast Attack vehicle 😯😯🥰 . Just wow on those 2. Would love a boxed original. Congrats Keith
Great vid again Keith! Some lovely kits! The Rookie Rabbit was a complete kit from tamiya too! I have a original RX but never seen a nib Rookie Rabbit yet! Cool looking thing now! The FAV is my favourite on your channel today Keith what an amazing kit!
Yeah it's the box art for the Spirit FF that got me back in the day those fat back tyre and aggressive tread pattern single shock it looked a bit like a tuff Hotshot sort of but yeah I was sus on it even as kid just having FWD lol
Yep your a certified rc vintage addict. Been watching your videos amazing collection and car selection well done. With regards to Yokomo, I collect the Dogfighter series as I wanted them so badly as a kid but way out of my price range. When I found a new in box Yokomo Yz10 1994 years ago it inspired me to collect them nib and official parts hopups etc similar to yourself. Your 94 looks to have Yokomo option shock towers, top deck and an optional Yokomo traction control slipper fitted together with team associated shocks. Check your motor mount if it’s magnesium it’s original if aluminium hopefully a Yokomo upgrade or Team Suzuki there were other manufacturers as well aftermarket. Your upgrades from Yokomo are desirable, the original shocks especially with the copper springs are desirable as well although the associated ones worked better for tracks but definitely copper springs are highly sought after new and worth looking after for period originality on Yokomo shocks. Also your wing buttons look like wcs ones and pargu make excellent reproduction ones and could be those, original were plastic. Motor mount cap was nylon in colour black ones came with the 95 Pavidis edition. Also can’t see clearly but it looks like the carbon upgrade stiffener for steering which is an upgrade as well. Some of the screws could well be titanium as they normally didn’t have them or lightweight hardware ball ends etc for 94, Yokomo did upgrade titanium screws and kits like the 1993 World Championship copied Masami’s car and 200 examples of the kits etc came with lightweight hardware M2 pitch belts, tcs unit etc Hope that helps you buddy, from a fellow rc addict, especially Yokomo Yz10’s.
See what I am saying! There is so much to learn when it comes to Yokomo. I am just thrilled to finally have one. Thank you for the comment. I will probably have to read it a few more times to fully appreciate all that info.
No problem on helping out with the yokomo buddy. I would join the yokomo vintage Facebook forum, plenty of enthusiasts on there including me and we know how a standard one or modified one should be. There’s some pics of my new in box collection of yokomo’s from 87-97 including multiples like your Alien Mid 4 example.
@@rjj962 that is great. Unfortunately I am not on Facebook though. I know it sounds crazy having a RU-vid channel but I am not on any other social media.
Really neat kits. I remember the Terrell actually racing on track. And I had a slot car of that car. If I remember right it got outlawed so to speak. Can't wait to see your running videos.
The Sonic Fighter full kit was my second RC (after Hornet), and the first I bought and built for myself. I had it on layby paying it off slowly for months at the local toy store. Currently restored with cracked chassis after playing chicken with a DT-03...
Lol the GV Begal don't know about that Great Vigger R/C I don't think they ever bought out anything that they designed Pro copy cats. Inferior R/C sorry Keith i've got bad feelings for GV cheap copy's yuk. But I did enjoy your video mate 👍👍
I was under the impression that GV didn't have any agreement with kyosho and there was legal action to make them stop producing the Beagle 🤔would love to know the truth
Probably not. You haven’t seen 1 f1 car. I only have 1 group C. All probably great but just not my cup of tea. I love the cars I have, buying cars just to buy them is not really my thing though. I appreciate your support though.
@@rcicons4915 and I though I was an addict 🤣🤣🤣 if you ever get the desire to share about yourself, it would be cool for you to do a video about what you do as a job or business, I'm always curious about what ppl do for a coin in this hobby
The Yokomo whilst nice is not original, the 94 came with fibre glass shock mounts, battery hold downs and top deck and the shocks are Associated. They would have be all standard upgrades back in the day.
Those are Associated shocks on the yokomo. It is closer to a 95/97 yz-10 because the rear camber plate. I will take a closer on a bigger screen and see if I can identify both shock tower geomety, camber plate and other indicators. Cheers.
