It's soo cool seeing you build such a vast and wide variety of cars in what is becoming a world class rc museum. So greta to have your friendship Keith and it's an honour to share a passion for this stuff with someone as genuine as yourself.
Keith I just wanted to tell you just found your Channel. And I think you're an awesome human being! I'm 61 been in this Hobby since I've been 20 I just love you enthusiasm and generosity. God bless you I'm going to keep watching and enjoying. I don't know you but I'm going to say friend because you feel like a friend. Charlie
The Brat was my first back in 83 and I remember just constantly staring at it first thing in the morning last thing at night it was on my table by my bed! I built it with my dad and it was just white then we had no idea how to tackle the paint job or what to do so a guy at my local Race club painted it! Damn thing was perfect red box art! He did an awesome job but obviously it got very battered on track and at home in the garden but soon l made it into the legendary Frog and really started to kick some butt in the C and sometimes B finals at my old Club! haha such precious memories! I still run a frog today for pleasure such a fun and legendary buggy an absolute classic and must admit l still need to get a Brat for the shelf for that nostalgia charge!!! I am big fan of tha Salute too! Absolutely overlooked in the Optima line-up! Love the different almost sci-fi way it looks bloody gorgeous in my view in boxart! Anyway fantastic stuff again Keith keep this awesome train rolling buddy cheers James.
Keith, I used to suffer from the same incurable disease!! 🤪😂🤣 Long time ago, when I used to have money. Except I collected 1-1 Cars! A bunch of Mustangs, first-Gen Monte Carlos and a Grand National, with others in between!! 😲 Just wish I kept any 2 of them. QUITE a nice haul you got! Absolutely LOVE that Ferrari! If you ever get a spare Tamiya King Blackfoot or just a Subaru Brat body that you "Don't want"...... I'm kidding. I'm in no position to ask for anything. Just know that what you do, is incredible!
I wonder what the Boost-tires smell like 😋 That thread looks epic. Super sleak box, too. I just didn´t know that it is so super rare. Going to check out the build video now...
Some interesting Rc cars you have there. Some I have never heard of.I The Lazer Zx is one close to my heart.Back in 1989 down the Rc club people had mostly Tamiya. Then someone I knew upgraded to the Lazer Zx and I thought Wow what a car.The thought has never left me and it was the first Rc car I bought a few years ago when I got back into the Rc hobby. Those other wheels you have for it look like they are for the Lazer Zxr as they were fitted with bigger wheels.Looking forward to seeing you build the Kyosho Lazer Zxr.
@@rcicons4915 Hi! I am a Boost owner myself, really enjoy seeing this wonderful car get the recognition it deserves! My question is, is this not the same one that Vintage RC built, or a second one? How did you buy it from him NIB, since i saw him build it..?!? Many thanks
@@rcicons4915 Hi Keith , yeah the scale series look like a nice kit, and definitely something that I wasn’t aware of. Always a pleasure to see your videos and the amazing and different cars I’ve never seen or heard of. The Boost is beautiful 🤩 awesome score for your collection, and like you said it’s a special one.
awesome video Keith , love the fact you’ve got an Ishipla monster, I had one about a year ago on my channel , had to have it when I saw it for sale. It reminded of a hornet crossed with an AYK Bobcat. The TT thunder tiger is the same as a royal ripper, very cool thing! Boost is a work of art as well . Ace stuff :)
Nice video love it Keith...omg you brought the brat I had on my wish list I was saving up to buy that one. The guy wanted a little too much for me with the shipping and everything. But glad you got it 👍 and I'll enjoy watching you finish it up. 👍
Sorry about that. I watched it for over 6 months before I pulled the trigger on it. Looked at so many any the fact that the body was never run or painted finally did it for me. Definitely on the high side price wise although I saw some at $500 that were way worse condition wise.
@@rcicons4915 yea this was the best one on ebay for sure and the fact that it's an original and you got the box and everything is cool. Me myself am an amateur collector I just collect my childhood favorites. I have too many bills to keep up with a collector as yourself. Lol. But your definitely a Motivation to reach you and Glen and Ari Status. You guys do great work. 👍
Yet another bunch of cool cars! I'm interested to see the thunder Tiger running for the 4 wheel steering. By the way, your son has great taste, the terra conqueror is sooo cool!
Jason’s awesome, I love his channel also. That AYK is awesome, and so rare .. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the RC community is the greatest community of people ever!!
What an Epic set of arrivals! The presentation of the Boost is great and that tire pattern is so cool. Many of these I hadn’t ever seen. Thanks for sharing. The Testarossa is amazing. I make sure my kiddos have room in the shop as well to tinker alongside me, I can only imagine how thrilled you son will be with building and running that kit. Appreciate you sharing these videos. Have a great day.
another great haul, i definitely remember seeing ads and maybe a review for the ishpla monster back in the day in rc car action or one of the other mags
Friend of mine had a lazer ZX, i think it had longer wishbones and the room between wishbone and wheel was verry small so he had problems in grass. Nice car otherwise! Phantastic set of cars you put up on the table on this episode, nice.
The Salute is a beauty. Looking forward to seeing it restored and run. Watched the AYK boost build on Jason’s channel before. Congrats on being the new owner.👍😊
What a wonderful thing to do for Ari! Just amazing and truly a blessing with your generosity. I'm excited for you as well to have acquired an AYK Boost. I used to have a Pro Radiant and loved it. Thank you for sharing this content for all others to watch and enjoy.
Nothing to be sorry about. unboxings are not boring, there are great. i have not seen a vid of yours thats been anything but great.Just dont buy and go broke!
No worries there. I am money conscious and prepared for years to put my collection together. Worst case is part could be sold if need be but that is last resort.
Awesome kits! A lot of these unique cars I haven’t heard of and I’ve been into these things since the 80’s as a kid. Really cool seeing and learning about these rare ones, thanks again for sharing!
Another great stream Keith and wide range make and cars , but all I saw on first watch was Subaru brat mmmmm beautiful always wanted one of them ❤ . The thunder tiger looks like someone gave mcgyver a hot shot lol
I stumbled across your channel a few weeks ago and I'm loving it! You are a great member of the vintage RC community, thank you for sharing all your finds!
I miss my tlo1 my bearhawk and my mo1 mini Cooper rally version the red and white one. I used to have a dirt thrasher I miss that too. And an ff01 I had a Clio Williams Cleo one.
Fantastic cars all of them. I don't remember when I first saw the boxart of the AYK BOOST, but even then I was thinking that is a sharp looking buggy. And still today it looks modern. Congrats finding one. And I don't remember of seeing that Monster before, or I have seen something similar. If so it would either been in RCCA or Tamiyaclub sit a good while ago. Remember I was studiyng the scale car pages in the Kyosho catalog for hours. All of that series looks stunning and the Testarossa is one of those that looks spot on. Speaking of those rear body post on the Testarossa. The Pug 405 Rally also did featured those. I belive it was a Optima based chassis with nitro engine. The engine sucked btw. Traded it after a short while. My boyroom wall had both the Testarossa, F40, Countach and 911 Flatnose, so needless to say I like supercars from those days. Not so much for modern stuff. I still have those posters somewhere belive it or not. Still to this day, Countach is still my favorite supercar, along with the Vector W8. Richard
The 2001 and 2002 on the Ishipla tires! And yes… I’ve heard of this car. Chassis: 2008 Front arms: 2006 Body mount set: 2012 Front tires: 2002 Rear Tires: 2001
Tons of awesome stuff!! I have never heard of or have seen a couple of those! The Boost is cool but I like the Thunder Tiger one personally. It is a unique design and the 4ws and the dual mono-shocks I find very interesting. I always enjoy ones with unique engineering to them but I like them all! Really cool cars and I love seeing and learning about them!
Great video and great addition to your collection. One of the first bodies I ever painted was a Testarossa back in the late 80’s not sure if Parma put it out, loved the look of it back then and still do!👍🏻
It all depends on how long the car has been setting on its wheels. because rubber does break down over time. Even on full size vehicles the weight of the car contributes to that
I just got a Luminous last week! Just missing the driver and need correct tires.Mine came with the box and manual. Are your lower arms twisted? Mine are. What a collection!
@@rcicons4915 What do you think they are worth. Looks like it comes with an extra carbon chassis but no transmitter. Also includes box, manual and extra parts.
I will have to take a look at my nib kit. I know it is an original 1 owner car and he hadn’t driven it much but it definitely could have been added at some point.
Just done eBay search and found ishipla monster and loads spare parts worth looking at wow at price , and saw some ayk racing stuff and one had a pic of the boost
Hahaha I’m like the little kid looking threw shop window wishing I could have that car/buggy/truck when I comes to eBay and do it every day very addictive
