Coming from doing all rc stuff since I was a kid I wonder when they will start using ceramic bearings like nitro motors use….. very smooth and last forever!

I saw another review detail these motors. Mentioned the "high quality" as well. They are tiny and double ball bearings (while difficult to show) are either better performance wise or more to go wrong. While tiny, the motor solder points are a nice touch for those whishing to direct solder these tiny motors. Very small and rather difficult in my opinion, but to each their own. Great review!! Nice motors. I am curious do you feel any difference with the dual bearing motors?

I don't notice much difference in flight feel. I guess we'll have to see how much longer these motors hold up compared to the others. Maybe they'll last a bit longer? Hard to gauge that long term. Ask me again in 3 to 4 years from now.

The tinywhoop batteries are good and I get the gnb 350 mah and convert to bt the are just a tad bit longer

The Nitro Nectar gnb27s have a pigtail you could swap to BT2.0 and should give better performance.

I'm gonna convert the Nitro Nectar PH2.0 lipos I already have to BT2.0 first. I think the lipos are the same.

Great review of some pretty little motors. I 19500kv motors, work good for my slow brain. I'd probably be happy with the 22k motors. I use the tattu 1s lipo with bt 2.0 connector. They're pretty good, but I have no idea how they'd handle 27k. Webleedfpv also has decent lipos with the bt 2.0 connector. Happy flying Albert. 🤓

With a fixed prop length though, as you go up in kV don’t you also effectively lose some amount of torque and effectively thrust but gain power? I’m using a Mobulus 7 ELRS 1s with 20k kV motors.

I love the color of these motors and they are not heavy for an 0802 motor. Yeah, usually racing pilots prefer the lower kv, like the 19500kv, as they are more efficient and freestyle pilots prefer the higher kv, like the 27000kv, as they have more punch. Have you considered using the "new" GNB 380mah 60/120c with GNB27 ? They are not heavy, they weight about 9g. Other great option is the WeBLEEDfpv 300mah, CiottiFPV loves this batteries and he uses 0702 30000kv motors with 31mm propellers. Awesome review Albert.

As far as battery suggestions, those gnb 300mah are way too small, and a 30/60 c rating just won't cut it for 27000kv. The way to go is to run a much lighter, stiffer frame setup, with a much larger battery. I've been running the gnb 550mah hv 100/200c with gnb 27 connectors in a fractal 75 frame, x12 elrs fc, pico razer camera with tiny whoop 0802 30000kv motors. All up weight with battery is around 35g, and its pure insanity, with 3 to 4 minute flight times, doing serious acro, heavy on the throttle with a lot of punchouts. The only problem I'm having is that I keep burning through motors. I'm very interested in getting my hands on these rcinpower 27000kv motors for the durability of the dual bearings. Does anyone know when they will be available? I can't seem to find them anywhere except for Aliexpress, and will never order from that site...

Interesting... I didn't think 27000kv would work on a 40mm prop. Surprised the 30000kv motors didn't burn out. Still want to stick with a 65mm frame though and not move up to 75mm.
