These are my very first testflights with the NEW Rcinpower GTS V3 802 27000kv Motors! I'm sure I'll be able to say more about these and other motors in the future.
Lipos in the Video are Tattu 1S HV 450mah 95C PH2.0 and Tattu 1S HV 300mah 75C PH2.0.
This video is PART 1 of a series about these rcinpower GTS v3 802 Motors.
PART 2: Punchout, orbit and other testings
PART 3: Outdoor full send flights
My first experiences with these RCinpower GTS V3 27000kV Motors on my sub 22g dry 75mm Whoop with AWG 20 Main Cable and PH2.0 solid Pin Plug:
- More Power than any other 802 Size Motor I`ve tested
- ESC (or/and Lipos) are not happy (as expected) (10-12A FC recommended!)
- Flighttime is very short (as expected)
- Soldering directly to the FC without Motor Plugs is a must!
- BT2.0 Plug or GNB27 and AWG20 main cable is highly recommended!
I believe to feel a little difference to 802 motors with bushings in the throttle control due to the double ball bearings. I think I can feel the ball bearings. But maybe thats just me. In any case they run smooth. Unfortunately, it has not been proven that they are significantly more efficient than the 802 motors with the bushings in this exact configuration. So what remains the same: These 802 27k Motors must be soldered directly to the FC for good results. Furthermore, a BT2.0 or GNB27 main connector is advantageous. And also an AWG20 main cable (if you intend to fly with 450mah Lipos or bigger). And (at least in this configuration) it makes no sense to fly with 300mah lipos. But maybe that would be different with the Z-Fold Tattu 300mah with BT2.0. Or with the GNB 380mah 90C (together with bt2.0 or gnb27 connector).
In terms of durability I think the 1002 Motors have the advantage here because of the 1.5mm motor shaft. This rcinpower GTS V3 802 Motor unfortunately hasn`t a 1.5mm shaft :-/ (only 1.0mm shaft) Of course I'm also curious whether the rcinpower 802 motors with the dual ball bearings are more durable than the motors with bushings. I will of course keep you updated as soon as I know more.
I can't give any recommendations for these rcinpower GTS V3 802 motors yet. But what I can say: I think we can give these engines a chance. So if you are a tinkerer like me I would say give these motors a try.
27000kV for pro pilots. 25000kV for intermediate pilots and 22000kV for beginners to intermediate pilots or if you wan`t to fly with 300mah Lipos.
Are you faster with the 802 motors on a small indoor racetrack? Yes of course if you are a very experienced pilot. But the smoothness, the constant power and the flighttime of the 1002 motors is also not bad, especially for beginners.
In short: If you're not a top notch super competitive pilot it doesn't matter that much. You can choose 802 or 1002 Motor size. 19-22k is best for beginners and intermediate pilots.
Try it out, have fun. Most important remains: practice practice practice
(pure sticktime on different tracks)
Flight time: (on this racetrack under the conditions written in the video)
Rcinpower GTS V3 802 27000kV with Tattu 1S HV 450mah 95C has about 1:30min flighttime on this track in the video. ESC firmware is only BLHeli 16.7! No fancy bluejay stuff yet..

Excellent video! Thank you, I totally agree regarding your assessment regarding the KV actually needed.

Thank you too for your comment. Nice to hear! I have to say that I am currently very happy with my 75 802 27k build on my current flying level. With 96khz bluejay and motor timing low as well as BT2.0/A30 plug, the flight time is now completely ok (3:00min with 450mah Lipo). And the power is great (and I need all the power now). I even fly it successfully with GNB 1S 380mah lipos. If you haven't seen the videos for the 75 802 27k build yet, I recommend you watch them. This whoop is crazy..

I swear your flying skills have levelled up since I first saw your videos! I like the comparison between the different KV motors more then anything, thanks again 👍 Just made the jump from 19k to 22k, big change for me...

agree with you. I put 802 27000kv in my 65 with tattu 300mah gnb27 fly time is only 1.30 min with very hot battery. this motor is use too much amp. but it's power is very good

Thanks for your feedback! Tattu z-fold? (black ones) Or the normal Tattu 300mah?

@@lilin-gb4jx Ok yes this is the only option for gnb plugs I think. I`ve heard the new tattu 300mah are a little bit better because of the z-fold technology. But they are available only with BT2.0 plug..
@lilin-gb4jx
@lilin-gb4jx Год назад
mine is come with Ph2 connecter.then I cut it off and put gnb27 in to it. If new one with z-fold technology come with Bt2.0 I will cut it off and put gnb27 too.

Great video! Really like to see this kind of comparison and details! In real life testing is very often surprising compared to what's on paper. You look faster with those 27K. But the battery goes too fast too... Excellent flying by the way! I got the 22K RCinP 0802, I don't race, just some indoor freestyle, they definitely improved my game thanks to their responsiveness I can try more stuff and they feel powerful, I love them! Even though I have another 75mm build with Aeolus 25K that i need to upgrade: direct-solder + GNB27, then I'll compare with the RCinP 22K, for now they feel better (22K)! (You might have recognized me from facebook ✌)
@butterflyfpv
@butterflyfpv Год назад
Haha yes I have recognized you! Thank you! Yes these 27k are fast. But I think 25k is the sweet spot between efficiency and great power for me on 75mm whoop with 450mah or bigger batteries.. Maybe I change my mind in the future but for now I think 25k are my 802 size favorites.. I look forward to your comparison!

Nice to hear, I love them too! But they are not too hard to the Lipo with Bluejay 96khz Motortiming low, BT2.0 Main Plug, AWG 20 Main Cable, no motorplugs.. Watch my newer Videos -> Search for Butterfly 75 802 27k on my channel

@@butterflyfpv Thanks for the tip! I will do that but will keep the motorplugs for convenience.
@butterflyfpv
@butterflyfpv 6 месяцев назад
@@airdevil21 Ok, I understand you. But be aware that you will lose around 30% overall performance. And that your lipos break down faster. And that you might also crash more because the performance is lacking in some situations (especially outside in windy conditions). Overall, it can sometimes be more convenient to fly without motor plugs and therefore crash less. Then there are fewer reasons to change a motor. I hope you understand what i mean. I wish you many good flights with your whoop! Happy whoopin!🥳
