Great modification, this is very interesting. The run later was cool, too. Especially with the second car for comparison. Nice soundtrack from the band Riley😉
HAHAHAHAH!!! 👍 thanks so much for your great comment Dirk. Reillys music was the best of the video for sure! 🤣 I’m so happy to know you found my mod interesting. I am a big fan of your channel as well, Really love the mini crawling course modules you made too! You rock my friend! Keep up the awesome fun? Thanks again so much for watching sir. I wish You, all family & friends the very best over the holidays.
That’s a sheer cliff my brother! The land on top is flat as a pancake. Hard to believe it’s not a mountain isn’t it? The Scarborough bluffs are the highest cliffs to overlook a freshwater lake in the world. 👍 Thanks so much for watching my good brother! It’s always Amazing to read your comments Brian. Really appreciate you my friend. 👊🍻
WOW bro! You remembered that? I think I’d collapse if I tried that now? 🤣🤣🤣That’s okay though, pretty soon she’ll be operating her own rig on the trails! Thanks so much for the awesome comment bro! 👊👍🍻
Hey thank you so much. I really appreciate the awesome feedback. 👊 Sure, I’d love to do a full review of the Super Clod Buster & all the upgrades I have added so far. Great Idea! Thanks for watching.
Cool run as well Jason, looks like you and Adam had some fun with these trucks. Mmmmmm i not sure about which would be faster , there is only one way to find out !!!!!!!!!
Aw-mate, Morgan & I still crack up every time we hear that little voice trying to belt out a song on that toy of hers? 🤣🤣🤣 We don’t even know what song she’s trying to sing? I think she’s put a song together made up of different parts of songs she likes listening to? We could have a musical savant here!? 🤣🤣🤣 I couldn’t agree with ya more mate, the only way I’m gonna find the answers to what’s the faster set up? Is to do it the “fun way”? Yeah I could figure it out based on math & finding out KV-rates, but that’s not gonna put any smiles on any faces now is it? 👊👍🍻😎
Thanks for popping by for the watch Gabe! So pleased you enjoyed it my friend. Thanks so much for leaving the great comment. Wishing You, family & friends the very best for the holiday season. Cheers brother! 🇺🇸🍻🇨🇦
I’ve been running 4s in mine for a little while, trick is to up the motor turn, in running 65t crawler motors. While it’s slightly slower than yours I get a good 45-50mins runtime on a 2700 lipo.
I think 4s on 27turn motors would be the faster combo, but brushed motors don't last long on 4s. Running 3s on stock silvercans is a popular choice in Clods for cheap speed, but even that level of power burns out brushed motors pretty fast, at least stock ones. Some aftermarket brushed motors may fare better. Honestly, I'd try to be happy with the speed you have. Clods don't have to be super fast to be fun, in fact, the faster you make them the more often they break, and that can get old after a while. This was a fun video. I'm going to check out more.
Great photage and love the commentary, always enjoy watching the video's and being a part of mayhem when I can. 😎 Need to get the third buster up to par for some beach bashing too. Think a base is needed to bring the camera just over the light bar, some thing secured to the body so it doesn't fall off again. Has a great view when running. What happens if you go with a 13T motor, 2S 6000mah, 130C Lipo hmmmmm 🤔
Thanks for the awesome comment brother! That was an awesome good time for sure! 👊 Gotta get the other Clod & an operator of it, out with us!? Maybe invite anyone in a Clod Group you know for a blast? The more the merrier! If I had a pair of 13T motors, I’d find out? Would be cool to find a bunch of different people with different 880 set-ups?
Try running it with two 15 Turn dynamite motors from Horizon. That's what I've got in My Super ClodBuster. And I'm running the Hobby Wing Quick run 880 ESC!
yah ive done quite a few mods to Tamiyas to get them compatible with new boxy lipos...Come on tamiya 2 things i would love from you guys 1 Include bearings come on, just include them 2 Update the battery compartment designs.
I completely agree! I’ll always (nostalgically) love Tamiya, but I would like to see them step it up slightly with their continued releasing of retro 80’s RC’s? I think they could be a competitor with all the other companies if they would take a step outside their box and start designing & producing more modern up to date vehicles?
The upgrades I have are more than "for show" for sure. If you're happy with a stock Clod? Then that's great. 👍 For me, the 27Turn silver cans are way to slow, & the servo on axle steering is way better than the 'zero steering while sitting still-belly mounted single servo stock set up. Owning a Clod is definitely not about having a good driving RC. That's for sure! LOL!!! Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment though. 👍
@@bonsaidrunkenmaster390 Sorry, I mean only while sitting still, there's basically zero steering. It's not to bad while moving with a stock set up. I'd say it handles like an 80's monster truck. 😁👌
@@devast8r3436 🤣🤣🤣 I wish I could say that's why it broke! Unfortunately it was my own fault for having the ESC set up with a hard drag-break on. Went through 3 shafts that all broke in the same place for the same reason. Finally figured out the drag-break was engaging, turned it off, and hasn't broken since. I really appreciate the comment though. Made me laugh!
@@rcwreck-creation lol yeah that drag break will get ya every time. Glad ya got it sorted out and in all seriousness that Bigfoot body does look really good
@@melvinjensen978 not straight out of the bag, had to boar out different post holes in the body, swapped & raised (with spacers & washers) the front & back posts on the Clod, but the scale is right on the money! 👌.... Oh! & The body has its own bumper. So the Clods bumper has to come off too.
