Great to find this overview and also the link for the manual. I have now got the app for my Android phone. My TC66C has just arrived in the UK direct from you, thanks for that. I see that it supports firmware updates if they are released. Mine is firmware 1.14 is that the latest for this device..? Many thanks for a speedy delivery.

Hi, I upgraded to version 1.16 and everything went fine. I just think you guys should be clearer on what's been fixed rather than just saying "Stability optimization" in the changelog. But one thing I've noticed now (I don't know if it happened in previous versions) is that when you trigger some desired voltage/protocol and go back to the home screen, you can see there's a tiny current measurement that quickly becomes 0.00000A and then comes back, this cycle keeps repeating itself every few seconds, forever. Could you tell me why this happens? Thanks!
@rdtech9153
@rdtech9153 2 года назад
hello, you know that TC66 is 6 digit display, so the resolution is 0.00001A, so when using trigger function, even environment will affect the readings, just like the multimeter, if it has 5-6 digit display and you do not connect anything, the readings will not be 0

Hi I received my TC66 yesterday and when is powered via micro USB is showing 25mV readings without any load. Also from your video when you power the meter from right Type C plug you can see some reading of current. That is self consumption of device which is inaccurate at all. From left Type C plug there is no that bug without any reading but in reverse direction there is it some reading of current. Also can you post the procedure how to calibrate that USB device?

Hi friend thank you for your message , I guess you did not read the instruction in time, did you see the button C (we point it at our instruction,) when you use the micro cable to power on, you need turn this button, it show 0, for that voltage , it is diode flow back voltage , so we use this button to solve this , it is not what you said self-consumption

Does this unit also trigger out available charger Amps, and not only the voltages of the charger? I know some models shows also the max amps for each available voltage of the tested charger? For example 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 15V/2A, etc. Also, can it do the USB-C PD trigger from both USB-C connectors, or only from the male? If so, would it work with a USB-C female to female adapter, so one can test a charger with a non-removable USB-C cable?
@rdtech9153

thank you for your comment: 1. yes it wil trigger the current and voltage, but only for standard quick charge protocol like QC 2.0 9V/2A, 5V/3A is not a standard protocol, it is designed by producer so it is privite. 2. for trigger function, you can use both sides to trigger, it supports current passing in two directions.

@@rdtech9153, thank you for your answer. Oh okay, i see. These have horrible build quality. Just look at the slider switches on the side. The small pins are made of weak plastic and brake off by applying very moderate pressure. Typical cheap Chinese design, no product durability testing whatsoever before the release.

@outolempinimi5165 4 года назад
I have already contacted the seller and the issue is yet unresolved. However, I want to bring out the design flaw in public because every buyer should be aware of the issue. The pin is shaped down very narrow at its root which makes it extremely fragile to brake off when force is applied up or downwards (lateral to the movement direction of the switch). There's nothing wrong with the switch itself, only the plastic pin is very weak. In my case it broke by itself when carried inside the provided soft plastic case which is flexing too much to protect the pins from external pressure e.g when carried along other items in a bag.
