How good a review could be...owned BS3 classic for 8 years and now Hness alongside Interceptor650....totally agree Hness feels like a commuter on steroids ...
The HnessCB350 has carried on the 60+ years of CB legacy(not sure exact years). It's just an emotion. My Grandfather was an ex-Navy soldier, he had Honda CB450 classic bike. It's just memories and emotion. September 2022, I took home Hness CB350 Anniversary edition black and i can tell this is the finest 350 cc bike of all time. Honda 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hi...I am really confused which one of these 2 to buy from the perspective of suspension. The city I live in does not have good roads (plenty of potholes and humps). I had a back ache with my previous bike . So Could you please help me clearing up this confusion...😢
Bro ride new classic you will forget about highness, i am also planning and ride both classic RE is king. Highness is only good if you want performance.
CB350 gives a feel of old soul in new body. Vintage yet up-to-date. Moreover, it's multi-use bike. Suitable for commuting, one day rides and long touring in highways too.
Being a 6 footer..just for looks & road presence and better availability of service centres..since my wife is gifting me bike and her pillion comfort n choice is also RE hence I have booked new gen classic..
RE : Soul of the sons of the soil ! I drove a 1953 red & 1977 black models & now buying a new classic halcyon black now…Thanks to Mr. Siddharth Lal for his vision revived a dead company & brand ! I met him once during the take over of RE in Chennai & he shared his vision with me at his cabin & he did it…I was skeptical that time…
@@AjaySharma-nn2fj but we are living in a town where we can't even see highness anywhere 🥺.........sorry honda .....royal Enfield is much more nearer to us ❤️.......
@@srinivaskatam998 that's one thing but I am telling you. Wherever you go. People will ask you about honda I see it every day 6 to 7 guy every day come across and asked about my highness. And TBH honda Big wing is 90 kilometres away from my house and Enfield is just next to my house but still I went with the highness
@@AjaySharma-nn2fj the bigwing showroom close to my house is 365km away.....and RE showroom is 2km away........there is a vast difference between them......honda needs to concentrate more on this instead of activa🤦
Excellent review. I feel Honda is far ahead, RE to me is just a bike and only feel. But Honda gives that performance and built quality and engine smoothness, which I beleive RE can never..
Thanks for the informative comparison and keeping most of the jargons away. The back to back comparison over similar road conditions was helpful and felt honest
Brilliant comparison.. few points from my 6k CB350 ownership - 1. CB350 publishes Laden Ground clearance. Normal GC is 180mm which I don't think is checked/cover in any other review. Video on check - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-60OUm0q96ZE.html 2. Honda actually uses small Sprocket setup. Which gives astonishing fuel efficiency of 50ish kmpl at 60-70kmph 3. Your exhaust sound capturing setup was super well done and so was overall comparison from a Touring Riders standpoint😀

@@rat773 I feel CB350 shock when changed to step 1 offer good comfort even on bad road. But the seat is not as soft as the RE C350. Have you test driven both?
Nice clip, thanks! RE quality control is a joke, very shabby fit and finish so far. Looks like it's improved with the new 350 cc. Also the components they use are poor, lots of fails in a short while, electrical system, brakes, drivetrain....and yes they do have service centers everywhere but mostly incompetent high turnover dealers, techs may not know one end of a wrench from another. Worthless customer service, they do not respond. Buy at your own risk, frustration and additional expense. Go Honda, mostly safe, reliable and inexpensive for years to come.
What an amazing comparison review!!! Own a cb350 and its the best choice I made, you conveyed my exact feelings about this bike. It is so much more fun to ride with cb350 than with classic, granted you ride the bike the way its meant to be ridden.
Highness is cool engine 2nd gear creep retire is too good for trafic where sukh can leave accelator and bike creep at 20 kmph Honda is very smooth and power delivery is de light .
Any motorcycle you buy will have some issue, having a cosmetic issue is better than having a mechanical failure, the issues on H'ness are marginal but as a reviewer it's my duty to mention them.
Honda is a better bike but Simply Speaking ...after spending 2L+ , Dont want to own a CD Dawn looking bike!!!! Also that Big Wing service network is the biggest issue with the Honda !!! No one buys REs for Drag Races , REs are bought for relaxed riding
@@soumyaranjangumansingh9080 I have seen man, even drove once, so i have mentioned it is a better bike . But there aren't many in my city as the nearest Big wing centre is 130kms away. Looks are subjective i believe , i dont feel it appealing. It reminds me too much of a CD Dawn For example ,People buy the Suzuki intruder 150 , which imo is a horrendous looking , disproportionate bike .
Basically what are you looking for in a bike? Do you want a commuter bike or a retro bike? Honda is a commuter bike. Royal Enfield is a retro bike with a soul. Plus there are hundreds of accessories and several service centers. Finally, try taking the Honda to Kardungla which struggles in high altitude.
A person already took it to Khardungla and Nubra valley and he didn't face any issues. A lighter bike with more power will struggle is a preconceived notions by certain fanboys. Also the Higness is more capable in highway so I guess if you consider Highway rides as commutes then it's a commuter bike. And finally as someone said soul is the last excuse when all else fails.
@@vijaykumar-zj3vh tank shaking is not an issue bro the bike is designed like that......yah it's shaking and seat too but it's not annoying u can solve it by adding some bushes
After all these logical explanations and all can you let me know how a bike such as honda highness with all the top notch features is struggling in sales as compared to RE. You dont own a RE and i am pretty sure you will never get to know why a person chooses RE in the first place.
Exactly, REs are not for drag races , REs are for relaxed riding and stability and also the about the Pride of riding a bullet . Still practical comparisons should be done to see where the Bike stands technically in todays terms. And i think RE has done a great job with the new classic 350
With Respect to all the guys who said RE is with Soul or Emotion ... You are not a rider you are just a driver with money to afford a bike. I do like RE's Himalayas too much but in 350cc segment Honda Hness is unbeatable Beast to all 350cc bikes . Honda Hness bulid Quality, Refinement, handling, Comfort, Reliability, Power, Performance, Mileage everything is toch noch ... My father was RE fan but after he drive my Hness for 100 km he is shock. Again I do respect for RE but the truth is in facts guys. & For 650cc segments GT continental is just a affordable Machine if u want true 650cc Power Check for Honda 650cc segments. Although GT continental is Crusier bike but u don't need 650cc power for a Crusier in my opinion 😅 special on Indian Roada .
bro..BTW good review...but u are absolutely wrong about the visibility of consoles...classic has better visibility compared to highness small display with many info
I am used to riding bikes which have a lot more information displaying and we know what to look for. That's why I said that. The classic display is too small. Meteor display was better. Also the fuel meter is inaccurate.
Mileage is very similar Honda is slightly more economical but RE is new bike, the Honda is fully broken in, so milage comparison wouldn't be fair. You can get 33- 37 km/ l from both of the bikes.
I'll never go for cb350 because it has nothing like machones. Also it's engine runs out on the high altitude. Since I frequently ride in hills, hence no to highness. Sorry!
I know the review is true when stupid fanboys of both the brands are offended by the same review. Dont think you have the intelligence of understanding what is being said here in the review. Also to answer your question, no I am salesman of Honda, neither of RE but I have a good relationship with both the brands. Both the bikes have positives and negatives but that doesn't mean people like you will make up facts like H'ness struggles in hills. Also hills and high mountain passes aren't the same thing. And like someone mentioned initial problems due to wax coating on air filter has now been resolved.
@@fleshpie2129 we have basic rules. Not so advanced systems, and neither so confusing ones. It's actually safer to go faster in India as it reduces risk of getting hit from behind, and you have to learn to react to anything that can come up in front of you.
@@themechanicsingh4159 the only one side issue is that u can’t pull the bike at lower speed with hear gear like the RE does all though no doubt about honda engine it’s great.
@@shivaay96 dude, this bike pulls so good from low rpm, in am doing 40 in 4th gear while Royal Enfield is doing 40 in fifth gear . U will ride one and feel it because it’s gearing is like big bikes 600 cc above that’s why.
Come on guys, enough with the bullshit "soul" excuses . It's a non living thing . If you like royal Enfield, just say you proudly like royal Enfield , just say your soul is attached to that material . Don't make any excuses, all bike comes with pros and cons . Experience will teach you noobs .
The stock price was 30,000 where it was split into 1:10 which means if you owned a stock of 30,000 you would have gotten 10 stocks each valued at 3,000 which was done so small quantity retail investors can come in. You can Google it, price split was last year.
