Re-creating Japanese Candy in My Art Style! 

Oh I’ve definitely been there so you’re not alone! It might seem like ease, but hours and hours of drawing went into that 7 minute video! Just know that most of it ended up on the cutting room floor. I just decided to pick a subject matter that I liked, got drawing and saw where it would take me! I promise that the more you practice and just keep making art, the more you’ll start loving your work! ❤️

@@fizzandflourish I love coloring and drawing food, and watching other people color and draw food, especially illustration style. I’m also a fan of foreign snacks and candy 😄 So this was right up my alley. And I love the music too!

Thank you!! So glad you like the video 😍 so I never resize in procreate because as you probably know, the resolution is then ruined! I always try and get everything into position in the sketch stage but sometimes you need to move the finished piece, so I would always take it into photoshop on my desktop, but I recently discovered the iPad version! If you already have a photoshop subscription then you don’t need to pay anything for it. I still prefer to draw in procreate, but if I have to move anything, I do it in photoshop 😍 hope that helps!

@@fizzandflourish Yes, you've been very helpful, thank you very much. I also always try to draw at once so that not to change the size in the procreate, but still sometimes you have to do it. I used to have to drag my ipad to my windows computer, it was very inconvenient. Now I have a mac and it's a lot easier to do. But I have long had photoshop and on ipad, I just forgot about it, you have now made my life much easier by reminding me about it❤

when you resize make sure the setting "bilinear" is selected instead of "bicubic" and it will ruin the resolution way less and sometimes not even noticeably. Hope this helps! :)

@@ratladyart I shared this method in another draw with me a while back I think, but I just find that it’s still quite blurry! It definitely works as an alternative if you don’t have photoshop tho! 😍

@@fizzandflourish agreed! it's definitely still not as good as photoshop resizing but it will do in a pinch xD procreate needs to fix this issue!!!
