I think she thought she was being clever, and the harder she tried, the more foolish she became, and the more ignorant she appeared, not even smart enough to google it or speak to someone. The security knew she had no "right" to demand any details or "force" compliance so good for her.

I've just sent them an email. I've included this video and told them they should educate their staff on photography laws and drone laws so that they don't make fools of themselves again. I'll let you know if I hear back from them.

A registration plate is not personal information. It is the most public of public information, required by law that you display it visibly to the public.

Interrupting a drone pilot is a bigger crime than videoing or standing outside a government building

Why do they think by knowing who you are they can verify if you're going to be a criminal or not. also when they ask why you won't remove your mask, why don't you say that you're creating privacy in public, you had a perfect opportunity to do so.

Why don’t you call them out for acting as though they have dominion over you? That presumption by individuals would set me off, telling me what I can & can’t do, expectation that I must answer their questions or explain myself to anyone.

A couple of ideas: 1) I expect those two cars on the pavement were parked there by their staff. "It is an offence to obstruct a pavement, contrary to Regulation 103 of The Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986. Rule 145 of the Highway Code states You MUST NOT drive on or over a pavement, footpath or bridleway except to gain lawful access to property, or in the case of an emergency." - ask them what they intend to do about it, remind them of their "saftey culture". 2) When they photograph or film you make the subject access request there and then. Give them an email address; set one up just for this unconnected to your name or YT channel. As soon as you tell them the request has been made. If they tell you to contact someone else they are in the wrong. "An organisation normally has to respond to your request within one month. If you have made a number of requests or your request is complex, they may need extra time to consider your request and they can take up to an extra two months to respond." So if, more likely when, they have failed to contact you within three months simply sue them. They'll have to pay your court costs and you can charge for the time you spend on it too - "3.4 The amount, which may be allowed to a self represented litigant under rule 46.5(4)(b), is £19 per hour."

I was watching a new documentary series today commemorating the 60th anniversary of President Kennedy's death, and it showed the reactions of people on the street approached by a reporter. They were all so courteous and articulate - and look at how people behave now 60 years later - marching up, being rude and giving orders, barely able to string two words together never mind a sentence. What an impertinent idiot that bigmouthed thing was - depressing really. I hope she sees your film and feels suitably humiliated. More brilliantly lethal gentleness NA, lovely film work too as always, thank you.

You do know that an ev battery consumes 8 years worth of co2 produced by an ICE car in its construction, but will only last 3 years may be 6years if you are careful. Meaning your ice car is far greener than an ev car over a 6 year period. New ev batteries will cost about £20,00-£30,000 every 3 years. Most charging stations are from coal fired power stations. The lies the government tells is appalling.

In case something happens to "Their" building, looked at the interior designer's page, Bowman Riley. They have a virtual 3D model powerpoint presentation so the Public can view the various corridors and office spaces. Reception has a brick accent wall. The ground floor (center rear) break room has wood floors, center od room is a food counter with marble top and sink, tables and booths for seating. Corridors have light tan tile, white walls. Office area is open plan with work tables for keyboards and monitors, 8 stations per table. Hanging panels above the workstations, along the center appears to be glass walls for senior staff offices. (Actually, I got bored with the interior, just office space). Thanks for the interior tour Bowman Riley. 😁 National Highways regional offices opened March 2021, cost £5 million and contractor was Clegg Construction. Design included roof solar and rainwater harvesting system. Earthwork for the police building next was commencing September 2008 in the street view.
