Overall this was enjoyable to watch, but the host seemed to be detached from what was actually happening at times. Like one of the horses put on breaks right before jumping and knocked down the planks, and yet, the host silently watched without commenting on it.
I've been watching these show jumping championships for a while now and one BIG PET PEEVE I've developed is that it is rude and unprofessional to let a horse and rider into the ring when the previous pair are still jumping the course. Wait your turn and give your fellow competitors the courtesy to let them finish before you ride into the ring.
it's just to keep the flow going, so the next competitor can begin straight away, which is especially important for events with this many competitors. i don't find it rude at all, it happens to each competitor so it's not as if they're being disadvantaged or anything
