I swear Kelsey makes me SO ANGRY with how she constantly plays the victim when she’s in the wrong! Like I understand being young and dumb, but if that’s your excuse when you’re caught in a lie and you don’t take any responsibility, then it’s not really a justification for your behavior, just a deflection. I’m so glad that Garrett caught on to that though, he deserved so much better!! (even though the poor guy’s now being used by Juliette lol)

Chloe was ahead of her time-calling out people and not hanging in toxic situations. It's impressive actually. Whether she is on a TV show or not...she is courageous to set limits...she is living an example of what many young women go through. You don't tell a girl to calm down. It is rude. Also, the discourse on racism is primed for the age we live in. And, Florida tends to be conservative so, it's a real thing and appreciated. Even if, it is uncomfortable and controversial. It's brave. These conversations are supposed to be uncomfortable. So, that's cool. There is no easy way to set boundaries or talk about race and gender. Dear Pauly, tape the on/off switch=secret of biz. Rappers hold mics and need that extra help.

I do feel for Pauly though. My parents both passed away when I was young as well and I went through such a wild phase that lasted ~10 years. I was fortunate that my grief didn’t get captured for millions of people to view my embarrassments and slip ups tbh

You guys couldn’t have picked a better show to do your funny reactions to than Siesta Key! I love how you guys insert your faces and play out your hilarious commentary. It’s too much. I love you both so much and it makes my day to watch your videos. I feel so bad for Pauly because underneath that tough sarcastic exterior there’s a guy truly struggling with so much trauma on the inside. As bad as I feel for him he really needed a humbling experience in the bar. Kelsey made a huge mistake hooking up with Alex because it is so obvious She’s just another conquest for Alex and now she’s suffering the aftermath having to see Garret and Juliet happy together. If Alex was really into her and showing her the attention that she desperately needs there would be no tears for Garret.

I like Brandon! Yeah, he's a little awkward (just like every other person in their early twenties), but he handled the interracial dating topic very well. It was cool that he brought that up because we rarely see couples discussing it in reality shows, and I'm sure it was the first time Madisson actually had to think about that. It must be pretty challenging for Brandon to live around so many privileged (most likely conservative) people who have no idea what it's like to be "the only one" or discounted, immediately, because of their skin tone. He adds a great perspective, and shows how living in communities like Siesta Key isn't all bikinis and parties for everyone--your experience depends heavily on race, wealth, and status. Love you Whit and Tim!

Yeah, I used to use that BS excuse as well. I do sort of empathize with her (though I've absolutely never hooked up with a friend's boyfriend/crush) because she seems like someone who is relatively reserved socially by nature and than when she finally gets to have a fun friend group she has trouble navigating the social stuff. I was shy/never had many friends in high school and didn't get asked out, and then when I was in college I finally got friends and some romantic attention from boys. As a result I got myself tangled up in romantic drama because I was naïve and dumb. It was stuff that I should've learned years before, but I was a "late bloomer". Obviously Kelsey looks like a model (i do NOT lol), but she does seem like she missed out on some social stuff in HS like me and is a bit quieter. I do find Juliette more likeable though-- even if I relate to her less.

Chloe is so smart. She Helda people accountable she holds herself accountable which is major for someone her age.. also her boundaries cutting off the toxic people in her life who were not helping her grow but making her feel bad about her weight just gross of them to do to her since they’re “friends” I’m proud of her. Was just in siesta key and saw the house that Alex’s dad owns. Didn’t know his dad was Gary from 1800 ask Gary. The house is absolutely ridiculous and next to a bunch of beach bungalow rentalS So funny. Also, my husband is from there and filled me in on why Alex got kicked off of the show. What a tool.
