Not really. It’s going on the New Sith same as the Old Sith. They never fixed or corrected the corruption that caused the Republic to fall. It’s the issue with the sequels. The New Republic went to demilitarize the entire galaxy, with known Imperial remnants in the Outer Rim. It’s irresponsible and shows why they are deemed to fall to the Empire again.
Well they are as incompetent as they showed in the Disney trilogy so I guess this is how they supposed to be in the new canon, idk if I like it or not tbh , but at least they try to make the shitty movies better by filling up the space between the OG trilogy and the Disney one , since they will never reboot the sequels this is the best we will get 🤷
@@davidkosiba624 which is so sad. Remember the times when the New Republic brought Peace, beat Thrawn, had the Jedi back…. What did Luke lose a Hand for?
@@Nanashicae Bureaucracies exist in both democracies and dictatorships. Anybody who thought a government that oversees a thousand worlds could function without one is incredibly naive.
Paul Sun-Young Lee should get his own rogue cop show where he tries to get the new republic to solve problems and their incompetence forces him to do it himself.
I don't know what was going on but when you backed out for your reaction off and on it went silent but, for the series you could hear it... keep safe 😉😉😉☺️☺️☺️☺️❤❤❤
New Republic here's an idea take some of the canons that you're stripping off of the Star Destroyers as you lease them to outer colony worlds to stop things like pirates.
Ok we all love Bo. But can we talk about the new republic dude? That X-wing scene is priceless to me. "How did you find us?" I mean, besides Bo's big ass ship outside?
Bo's ship didn't lead him there, R5 did. And he would never have found the planet without R5 in the first place. I agree though, I really like that Pilot. I was afraid the ending scene was going to be someone jumping him.
The Republic's lack of aid is completely uncalled for. This is definitely what hegemony would look like in space and the Star Wars world. Why overthrow the Empire which was oppressive only to set in place a similar system. I think that it's a flawed ideology that didn't think about how to change the system before it in a creative way that could use resources more collectively. The problem is after the Empire fell, they didn't know how to run a political body any other way and needed to have a think process on how to make things better without making the same mistakes again.
Noone is showing the New Republic is evil, or that they are like the Empire. They're just showing the New Republic is incompetent, which they are, they destroy the rebel fleet, they destroy Imperial technology, weapons and ships. That's why the New Republic dies in the sequels, and why the Resistance doesn't have help. Also, Mandalorians aren't shown anywhere near incompetent in the episode, they literally work together in squads like any Special forces group, only a few of them get hit by an E-Web.
I’m wondering how Carson knew that R5 was with the Mandalorians. Did you guys catch the tribute to the original Boba Fett actor Jeremy Bulloch? On Nevarro when they gave the Mandalorians the land they said Bulloch Canyon.
This is my favorite episode so far. 😄 Zeb looks like an interesting character, I need to watch Rebels. And I personally hope that Gorian Shard isn’t dead, he’s way too cool of a villain - sometimes I get tired of seeing cranky old Empire men as the bad guys.
Is the audio cuts intentional to avoid copyright or is it technical problems? Hate to parrot what everyone else is saying but it does ruin the experience.
zeb is the boss to .. Because he's asking him for permission .. He's probably in charge of the whole base probably a general by now we'll see him in the future for sure when they need more help
It could be imperial mandalorians. They were a sect in rebels and have been in eu since before Disney. It’s probably too easy though . In fact didn’t most of pre vizlas people side with the empire or am I remembering wrong?
I've heard your comments from Episode 1 to this Episode so far and I really think you are not good story tellers... nor good listeners... failing to see that the plot is about the retaking of Mandalore-- I saw it on the first episode and verified on second episode. And failing to see that the Armorer also has some character development (her removing her dogmatic view by asking Bo Katan to remove her helmet) -- if you listened well, her comment about different forges doing the same thing is the same as accepting all Mandalorians being the same.
