REACTING to Bridgerton Season 3 Episode 1! | FIRST TIME WATCHING 

Well this is going to be incredibly interesting to watch. I’m so curious about how someone’s never seen the show will react to this season standing alone. This is so intriguing to me.

Going straight to a third season of ANY SHOW with out context is WILD lmaooo it’s different tho I wanna keep seeing their reaction

Season 2 is a must to have better context of Colin and Pens friendship or else it will seem a bit odd going forward

season 3 is definitely my favorite but for context on this relationship and the show itself i would definitely recommend watching s1 and 2!

This season is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE so far!!! Colin & Pen’s love story is my FAVORITE one in both the book and series. The entire series as well as the Queen Charlotte spin off is amazing. It’s really neat to see people who haven’t experienced the Bridgerton Series, I really hope y’all enjoy it and get the chance to watch the show from the beginning. It’s really worth the watch and really understand more of the story and the characters. I can’t wait to see more your reactions!

For the sake of time, I'd recommend just fast forwarding to Pen and Colin's scenes from S1 and S2 because it will help fill in the blanks as you watch S3.

This was so funny, I cackled with the lack of information. If you want minimal info: It's well stablished that Colin and Pen are childhood friends, Pen loves him for a long time but he is oblivious. With no intention at all, Colin broke her heart many times. As Lady Whistledown Pen broke his engagement to Marina (Pen's cousin), who was pregnant from another man and tried to deceive him to marry her. LW revealed this secret and Colin was heartbroken, Marina was ruined and the Featheringtons were ostracized from polite society. Colin is a sweetheart and could see why Marina did what she did, so he holds a grudge to LW ever since.

You should watch season 2 to understand Colin and Penelope's friendship more better...

I think you can watch a cut of their scenes together right here in youtube to be up to date to make more sense of their relationship. Some things will not make sense otherwise.

You definitely need to watch the other seasons to get the context. As you said, Bridgerton is very dialog heavy so when you don't know the character's names and much less their motivations and traits, the watching and you reaction becomes pretty much pointless.... For example, when Colin was rizzing all the ladies, it was VERY out of character for him. He was doing it because he's finding himself and thought that's what society expects him to be. He's a very sensitive and good-hearted person and long time friend of Penelope.

Y’all should watch Season 2. It’s better than Season 1 and you’re missing a lot of context for this season.
