*WHO CRIED OVER HIS SPEECH AND STILL CAN'T MOVE ON OVER HIS BEAUTIFUL SPEECH??* ME.

As an adult I was deeply moved by his speech. I loved the way he talked about jamming himself into the molds others made for him...I totally relate. These young men are changing the status quo....and it needs changed! On another note I really hope other groups find foothold over here because BTS has opened the door. (Especially Big Bang lol)

I am surprised at the UN's choice as I have been thinking that the UN is always slow/ behind trend and an ineffective organization. I think they have made a smart move this time.

Hi Dylan , I never get tired of listening to RM speech × 10. BTS is the NEW super heroes( Anpanman) , he describes himself as an ordinary person, his speech was powerful / poetic . BTS is giving hope to the world to all us ordinary people who are struggling in this crazy planet of ours . I purple you I love myself.

The speech was honestly so amazing. So inspiring and absolutely uplifting in the most foundational of ways. (If that makes sense lol) They are always rising in the world in the best of ways, carving paths and creating history for our generation. And honestly they really are. I get they're "just a boy band" and all that but actually. They're so much more than that. The are humans, they are people., they are artists, they are down to earth, they are powerful, passionate, thoughtful, and people who draw others to them because of who they are and what they do. BTS will forever be more than a boy band. They will be remembered as a driving force behind helping people to love themselves. They will be remembered for creating a story with their music. They will be remembered for the raw honesty and integrity in their music. They will be remembered as people we look up to, that inspire us, that encourage us. I'm so proud of them. I actually cried because of how far they have come, I've been an ARMY since they debuted and at the time i was going through a rough patch. I hated the way i looked and a part of me still does but with their help I've slowly started loving myself, they saved me and a lot of other ARMY'S and i cannot express how greatful i am for every single member and how proud every ARMY is. I think BTS is different from other idol singers. If I hadn't known BTS, I would have made a bad choice with terrible depression and a lot of injuries. I didn't want to be alive anymore.The only light that helped me get out of my pain was BTS' song. Their message is special. I'm trying to love myself little by little. Like a message from the BTS. I listen to this song often these days. Answer: Love Myself. I cry whenever I hear it.

I just want to say that everyone had 4 minutes to talk. No one complained or interrupted RM that took 7 though, everyone was so captivated and listened so carefully. This speech also became the reason for the # Speak Yourself that is people telling their stories and it has already helped many people as they let out a burden by doing this, including my own self. This speech was so beautiful and I am sure that if Namjoon was really ever to be the president of this world, we would have world peace and a much better world to live in.
