im a transsexual man, i do consider myself aap, and I really appreciate this video. I have a similar experience with what you were saying about haveing more intsense paraphilias in the bedroom than my aap, and my aap is more. just how I want to exist? its like, aap is the style and vibe I want to embody day to day, and while it is erotic to me for people to see me as a gay guy (i am 5 years on t and have no transition regret and have been fully passing for years), it is not imminently sexual to me if that makes sense. it is more of a baseline assumption for all of my sexual encounters. I take issue with the way a lot of ppl discuss transgender people and transgender politics, because it all takes such a liberal individualist approach. gender is highly complex and social, and we cannot distill it down the way son many people do to simple definitions. it is a thing you DO. anyway, very interesting. I love hearing from u and ur channel and appreciate this video even if we disagree on things.
also thank you for mentioning that not all sex offenders are paraphiliacs. the sex offender that molested me as a young child was NOT a pedophiliac. he did not have an attraction to my pre-pubescent body, he was simple a child rapist. people often do not understand why this is different and results in different kinds of rape and assault either.
I didn’t find her to be hateful necessarily. She did seem to have a more feminist slant than I usually like to deal with, but I’m also very biased against feminism. I think she was trying to talk about a very serious problem within the trans community, so it makes sense that she’s trying to impress upon people just how bad this stuff can get. I think in many of the conversations I see happening around trans issues, people usually speak from whichever corner of the community where they’ve had experience. So detransitioners have one kind of story to tell, while happily transitioned people have a very different story. Gathering and amalgamating these varying stories will give us the clearest picture of the trans community. So, Eve’s experience with AGP/AAP has been the darker, scarier side of paraphilia. Mine has been very much the opposite. I kind of got the sunshine-and-daisies tour of the paraphilic world. Both are real, and both need to be balanced to show the full picture.

It's just the scientific name for a heterosexual natal-male who desires to become a woman. It's not about behaviors, but you can usually identify an autogynephile if they are a trans-woman who prefers to date women, or if they are a straight male cross-dresser.
