Anyone that reacts to Buckethead gets an instant sub. In my little corner of this planet, he is far and away the greatest guitarist up to this point in history. The connection this man has with that guitar is ridiculous. Stories are told within his playing yet no words are ever uttered. This man is special.

He was on stage over two hours. He has a tech/roadie/handler with him. He shows up in a van/bus. Uses the venues sound. The staff is not allowed to speak to him or look him in the eyes. He has his own area where he hangs out alone before going on stage. On stage he does have audience participation on the guitar but he adds more protection to his head gear before those portions of the show. It is him and his guitar for enough time that is it. Buckethead has so many styles and "hundreds" of albums published to purchase from him. Chuck Berry used to set a gig, the venue would hire a band that could play Chucks music. He would walk in, turn up the amp, play the gig and leave. Taking his cash with him. Another thing that was interesting... There was zero merchandise at the show. No T-shirts or memorabilia... Cool show .. Amazing he was in Guns N Roses so long.

Brian Carroll. A truly amazing player. The thing that blows my mind is, if you include all his various projects like Praxis, Frankenstein Brothers (with That1Guy), Guns N Roses, Deli Creeps, Death Cube K and solo, he has put out something in the area of 600 albums/pikes. Maybe even around 700!! Nobody else even comes close!

Brian Carrol is his real name. He graduated outta Musician's Institute GIT i grad outta there too. He's a bigfoot like legend there lol! Everyone that goes there goes in as solid guitarists and graduate as versatile musicians not guitarists but musicians. He had a stint with Guns N Roses and as a life long fan of GNR since '87 im not ashamed to say i really liked his live on stage work with them. I loved his duet with Robin covering Christina Aguilerra's Beautiful at the Rock In Rio 3 back in 2001. I love how at the ending of Paradise City all 3 guitarists swap leads back and forth of course Head is shredding his balls loose floppy and jangley just like the ending of November Rain lol! I highly suggest watching Rock In Rio 3 the whole concert is on here. I think u will really like it. Also contrast the songs pre Richard Fortus and with Richard Fortus especially Madagascar it'll amaze u.

What else from Buckethead to check out? Well, he has literally hundreds of outstanding tracks so where to begin? Many of his best pieces are quite long so probably not suitable for reaction videos, but here are five that I think are truly special: Mount Shasta, Pitch Dark, Wall to Wall Cobwebs, Poseidon 4-6, and Celery. That's well over an hour's worth of music, but you'll be glad you took the time to listen. Once you've done that, there will be no doubt in your mind that he's the GOAT!

A bit of info for you Buckethead is a really big guy 6.5 or 6.6 feet tall so he uses a baritone guitar which is 3 or 4 inches longer 28.5 scale, he also has due to his size what used to be called piano hands meaning he has long palms and very long fingers hence the baritone guitar. which helps with the crazy stretches he can do.

""I had just seen Halloween IV", he recalls of a dark night in 1989, "and as soon as it was over I went into a store across the street and said 'Do you have any Michael Myers masks?' They had a white mask, which really wasn't like a Michael Myers mask, but I liked it a lot. That night I was eating chicken out of a bucket that my dad brought home. It wasn't a Kentucky Fried Chicken bucket either. It said "Deli Chicken" on the outside. I was eating it, and I put the mask on and then the bucket on my head. I went to the mirror. I just said 'Buckethead. That's Buckethead right there.' It was just one of those things. After that, I wanted to be that thing all the time."" That`s the story told by Brian himself. He invented the Buckethead persona, not one of his friends...
