So we made a video where we not only reacted but also reenacted popular scenes from Reddit thread AITA or amithejerk (you know RU-vid doesn't like bad words) - and you all said you wanted more. So here we are. We have some Karens stories today. We have some entitled people. We have some toxic relationships. We have some juicy and funny family storytime content. We have a bridezilla (or crazy bride story) in this video too! We have stories with this total creep that was voted the creepiest AITA Reddit story of 2022. I'm kind of obsessed with this Reddit secrets or r/AITA storytimes or Reddit AITA videos or a Reddit storytime or Reddit confessions or Reddit reaction videos or Reddit reacting content, whatever you want to call them. And quite frankly it's so fun to react to these, and stay tuned because I definitely have a reaction for each. You're going to hear stories about about bridezillas and entitled people and Karens and entitled mothers and entitled fathers and scary toxic brides and creepy stories and bridesmaid drama and crazy stalker guy and so much more. I was literally an unhappy (albeit silent about it!) bridesmaid who had to walk down the aisle wearing a short bright canary yellow dress that ended up barely covering my "bountiful bits" (the other bridesmaid was a skinny chick who was lucky to have the dress go down past mid-thigh and cover her chest), all while rocking a red mohawk with all my tattoos/piercings on show, trying to stealthily tug said abomination down with every step just so I didn't flash everyone, all in honor of my HS best friend who got married at 23 to a 16yr old bull rider/HS dropout...they got divorced 6months later 😹 true story, I literally couldn't make that shit up!!

@CrazyCatChick I think a combination of both, even back in my day and my parents, grandparents. My parents were 18 and 19, and maternal grandparents were 19 and 21. I never knew how old my paternal grandparents were. I was 24, my husband was 26. My sister got married that same year at 18. Her marriage only lasted 7 years. She had 3 other failed marriages after that.

I don't think a lot of people realize they can say no to being in someone's wedding. The bride told her friend she couldn't wear black, friend goes and buys a black dress anyway AND lies about it, then asks for the money back they paid for it?! Remove the extra drama from your life.

Your friends should be supporting you, especially when you have that one bridesmaid who’s being an absolute shit head. if this was my friend, I would’ve grabbed that bitch by the dress, and drag her out.

I was a bridesmaid at age 17 for one of my friends. She was very poor, but kindly chose to pay for all three dresses anyway. We went to JC Penney's and bought some old prom dresses that were on sale. They were hideous, imo, and the color did my hair and skin tone zero favors, but the price was right, they had exactly 3 dresses in the right sizes for all three bridesmaids, and Missy was in "That's good enough for me, let's cross this off my list" mode, so I didn't say a WORD. It was her wedding. It was nice she had asked me to be a part of it and doubly nice that she insisted on paying for the dresses. I would have worn a burlap sack if that's what she wanted. As Justin so correctly put it: "It's not about you!"

It is a weird custom, not sure where it started, but very firmly entrenched in American culture. Nowadays there are some people who allow for flexibility, like choosing a color scheme, and they get to decide on what dress. And I just realized it is for the pictures…

Agreed! I think it's been proven a few time over that a good chunk is fake, but idk if there's any actual stats. A lot of AITA are teens making up stories. The biggest giveaways are when they hit those keywords that people love to hate on, like brides, karens, or incels. The first and last stories seem sus since they use the bride and the incel creep stereotype, plus the tone just doesn't seem genuine in either story. In real conflicts, there's more of a sense of distress when someone is embarrassed publically or loses a friend on their wedding day-I don't see that in either of these stories.

Bridesmaid in the first story is the AH. She PLANNED to railroad the bride when she could have spoken to her ahead of time and just stepped down from the wedding if it was TRULY that important to her not to wear green. 🙄 Kudos to the bride for advocating for herself.

Why would anyone agree to be a bridesmaid if they don't plan on wearing a dress the bride chose? Isn't that part of the bride/bridesmaids agreement. She could have just said "I love your friendship but can I just be a guest instead" would have saved so much drama

I second the motion of the third episode being all gay stories. Also, you got to feel bad for cis-hetero men who really don't understand how toxic they are. Like that guy legitimately didn't understand how wildly inappropriate it was to be talking about his girlfriend's friends vagina. And the other guy not realizing that he was harassing the girl in the bar! Like the way that story was told, I almost feel like the girl was telling the story, from the perspective of the guy, because how could you do all of those things and not realize that you are a total creep! I got married at 23 and still married. We work really hard on our communication with each other and have even gone to couples therapy because we didn’t feel like we were effectively communicating to each other. We felt disconnected. I high recommend couples therapy/therapy in general. I’m not saying we don’t have our bumps but we are better at communicating to each other.

Oh my word! I was married at 22 on New Years Eve. He was 23. Yes, we're divorced. I also had a winter themed wedding with red velvet cocktail dresses for the bridal party. I wore an ivory ball gown. No drama, though. A couple of my bridal party told me they wore their dresses for Christmas parties for years. Yay for dresses you can actually wear again! BTW, this was decades ago, velvet was very popular then. Not so much today.

There was this one wedding story where they had tiers for what people would be able to eat as a guest. Tier one could have either hamburger, hot dog, Italian sausage, or steak. Tier two could either choose between a hamburger or hot dog. Tier one was also the only tier that got cake. The couple in this story were both twenty years old. Apparently they didn't even inform guests about the tiering system so the grooms mom/OP's MIL's boyfriend wanted a steak and then was told that he was on the second tier. It was just insanity.

My sister almost made us wear purple satin bridesmaid dresses. It's not because she likes the color. My BIL liked it because it matched his guitar. We are all fair skinned, hazel eyed and it made us look bruised. I asked if she'd consider a different color, but said I would only ask ONCE. She decided on a fuchsia color. I relate to your mom in the strapless gown. I am busty and can't ever find a strapless bra that defies gravity, so I was concerned when my sister chose teal taffeta strapless gowns with bolero jackets for her wedding. I was MOH, so all eyes were on me as everyone was watching for my sister to come out behind me. As I walked, I could feel my bra losing the right, and halfway down the aisle, it dropped down and decided to become a belt instead. I clutched my bouquet and kept my elbows in, and counted the minutes til I could run to the bathroom and try to fix it. There, I looked in the mirror and remembered that I was wearing matching teal eyeliner and prom hair, so the bra was the least of my worries. 😂😂😂

I got married at 23. 13 years and 3 boys (12, 8, and 15 months) later and we’re going strong! Those first 7 years were some of the hardest of our lives because we were so immature, and wanted to win all the fights. We had a lot of growing up to do, but we made it through, and I cannot imagine my life any other way. All this to say, getting married at 23 is definitely doable, but it requires you to swallow your pride, realize that you’re not always right, and work at it constantly.

Creepy dude needs to work on hearing "no" when it's implied and ACCEPTING it as the final answer. The chick was never interested in him, was also busy working and wanted to be left alone and she made that clear. She communicated very clearly with her responses that she didn't want or need to have a conversation with anyone, so his snooping justification that he just wanted to find something to spark conversation is TWO strikes against him. He invaded her privacy (1) to get what HE wanted -- a conversation (2) -- not to offer her anything she wanted. This dude is a narcissist. Therapy won't help him.

Listen, I used to work for a fairly high end country club that hosted a ton of weddings all year round. I have seen many many Bridezillas in my day. That first girl telling her Bridesmaid to wear the color of her choosing is not a Bridezilla. That is a very fair and reasonable request and that Bridesmaid tried to railroad her by purposefully going behind her back. Not the AH to kick her out.
