Reacting to every Smash Bros. Ultimate trailer I could find! 

Turns out that I missed a few trailers during this video. Sorry about that. I will maybe try to include them in a separate video sometime. Thanks so much for all of your support of the video and my channel!

Fun facts about the characters and trailers! -When the Inkling trailer aired it was just after a Splatoon 2 announcement. A lot of reactions indicate that peope thought it was either a rerelease of Splatoon 1 for the Switch or possibly an animated series. Smash was a pipe dream and it took everyone by surprise. -Evwryone in the "everyone is here" trailer was from a previous game (except Inkling, who had been announced in the prior trailer). Some characters hadn't been seen in over a decade. Due to issues with Konami, it was thought to be impossible to get Snake again, since he hadn't been in the previous game. That's why he's the focus when it reveals the tag line of "everyone is here". Then they cut to Pichu, who had been a joke character from Melee and who hadn't been seen since, so people take this as emphasis of "yes, EVERYONE". -Daisy isn't even an echo fighter by their own definition. The game does call her one but she's *exactly* the same as Peach. -Richter is the star of Rondo of Blood. You'll also know him if you played Symphony of the Night. He's going to be the focus of the next Castlevania anime on Netflix, and if you saw the first one you may recognize the assist trophy friend of his with the long silver hair. -After Luigi got absolutely bodied in the Castlevania trailer, Nintendo revealed on social media something like "don't worry he's ok" -Chrom is bringing that woman a present because she's his daughter. Why do they look to be around the same age? She's from the future! -Dark Samus is a living poison, essentially -K. Rool is generally thought to have the best music track in the game, Gangplank Galleon. You hear it during his trailer. -Isabelle is from Animal Crossing and is pretty new to the series, debuting in New Leaf on the 3DS. She's a workaholic who has multiple degrees in various disciplines. She has a twin brother named Digby. Also, nobody knew at first if this was a Smash trailer or if it was an announcement for a new Animal Crossing game--but it turned out to be both! The original airing led into another character watching Isabelle's trailer and saying he had better get to work too. The game, which would later be titled New Horizons, was originally announced for 2019 but was delayed to March of 2020, and given the events of that time frame, ended up selling an absolute fortune as people sought escapism (you can also play with people online so it gave a new communication outlet) -"Ken looks great!" Yeah that's a conmon sentiment, especially since he looked so bizarre in SF5. The move he uses to defeat Little Mac is his super but considering he parried right before it, the framing of the scene is likely staged to invoke the infamous "Evo Moment 37" aka the Daigo Parry, the most famous moment in fighting game history, where a Ken on very low health parried every blow of Chun-Li's super, giving him the meter to pull off his own super and win the match -Incineroar is a fire and dark type pokemon from generation 7, based on heel wrestlers, so it likes to pose for the audience. It plays a bad guy role but it's generally just an act. It's not the first wrestling Pokémon, as generation 6 gave us Hawlucha, a luchador hawk. -Joker's original trailer aired at the Game Awards and the audio reflected it ("you went alone to the Game Awards?!"). It was also a surprise that it would be Smash, and you could hear the crowd go wild when the envelope was revealed. Joker and his Persona Arsene are voiced by Xander Mobus, who is also the voice of the Smash announcer. -It was believed that we were getting a Dragon Quest rep and that it would be Erdric. He's the one the camera does a slow focus on when the other heroes are revealed. Dragon Quest is drawn by the same guy who does Dragon Ball and you can kinda see it in the designs of the characters. The blue creature is a Slime, an iconic monster that's usually the first thing you encounter in a DQ game. They're somewhat of a mascot. The hero with the orange jacket keeps his pet hamster Munchie in one of the pockets. The glowing eyes are explained in the final Smash trailer, which you missed. Look up "World of Light". -"Raring to go" refers to how Banjo Kazooie are owned by Rareware, which used to work with Nintendo but was since bought by Microsoft, so they were also thought to be impossible. Though Nintendo and Microsoft are on generally good terms. The music here was all remixed by the original composer, who's also been involved in fan tributes! -It had been leaked that the next character revealed would be from SNK but not who it was. Terry was still the most obvious choice though. The envelope travels through time in that sequence, since Nakoruru (the girl with the bird) lived several centuries ago! Although in King of Fighters XV, which came out after this, she's able to come to the present via a magic spell. And the guy who jumped off the tower to get the envelope...yeah that's happened to him before. A few times. As noted elsewhere, Terry has a longer trailer that you skipped, thinking it was a repeat. -Byleth's trailer is the lowest rated one of all because Byleth is generally seen as a boring character even among FE fans. The characters who canonically wield those weapons were much more popular choices. In Japanese, Sothis (the green haired goddess Byleth goes to) chides him for his failure with "aren't you a man?!", only to reveal female Byleth. In English they changed it to "too many swordsmen, are there?" which is a common complaint about Fire Emblem rep in Smash. Female Byleth gets a seperate splash screen because in Japanese the two have different names. Sothis has the same English voice actress as Morgana, the black cat from Joker's trailer. -We knew a few months prior that the next character would be from ARMS but not who. Though Minmin was generally thought of as a top option. Twintelle, the woman with weaponized hair, was also considered a top pick by the fanbase. Captain Falcon slurping was the first time they'd called his voice actor back since Melee! -Steve's announcement broke Twitter. So many people were tweeting about it that the whole site was inaccessable. The only other event to do that was the death of Michael Jackson. Alex, Zombie, and Enderman aren't echoes but eather separate costumes. Though Alex is treated as her own character in promotional materials and gets her own Amiibo. Sakurai implied during the Steve direct that this was the most complicated character to add. -Last time that glowing wing thing did that charge attack...well, check out the World of Light trailer. That sort of power output being oneshot by a lone strike shows just how OP they're setting Sephiroth up to be. Though he can't chop a stage in half--that's just the trailer staging the stage splitting to time with his sword strike. Almost everything in the movie parts of this trailer is taken shot for shot from Advent Children, as is the exchange he and Cloud have at the end. So far though ONLY 7 is represented out of all the Final Fantasy games, even in spirits. Prior to release, Smash had a Sephiroth Challenge where, if you could defeat him, you got him a few days early. -The Pyra and Mythra trailer is the only one not planned by Sakurai. It was widely believed that Rex would get in. This also wasn't known to be a Smash trailer at first, with many people thinking it would be DLC for the original game. Mythra didn't originally have those black tights or side details, but they were added for her spirit image even before she was a playable Smasher since her original look was considered too revealing. But Xenoblade fans liked this design a lot and it was added to the game as a bonus costume. And yes Xenogears, Xenosaga, and Xenoblade are all related. -Kazuya throws people off cliffs because it's a family tradition. His father did it to him as a child because he's got the "devil gene". Sakurai made note of how Kazuya's "this will be your burial ground" line sounds cool until you remember he'll say it to characters like Pikachu. He also, during the Kazuya direct, tried to play against the characters that got tossed in the trailer and ended up losing to Minmin, and shortly afterwards she got a nerf, so it was joked about that these were related events. It was thought that Heihachi would get in and that he only didn't because his Japanese voice actor had died (his final role btw was Incineroar for this very game!), but Sakurai confirmed that they got Kazuya because they felt the Devil Gene set him apart. -Sora was the most voted for character during the Smash Ballot in the previous game. They told us that the winner among "negotiable and realizable characters" was Bayonetta, and apparently she did win in Europe, but Sora was the real overall winner. Also apparently the sticking point in getting Sora wasn't Disney but rather Kingdom Hearts director Nomura, who wasn't sure how to fit Smash into the lore (KH4 has been announced ao we'll see gow that goes). Sora is voiced by Haley Joel Osment, who you may remember as the kid from The Sixth Sense, and was cast in English due to that movie before he was cast in any other language. He still plays Sora but the lines in Smash were gotten from a previous KH game. Also yes a LOT of people cried at the ending, either because they really wanted Sora or just in general at the concept of it all ending!

the thing about Music in Minecraft is because Minecraft's Soundtrack is so serene and unfitting for a a fight, every minecraft music track in Smash Bros comes from spinoffs and side modes

Fun fact about the Minecraft Steve reveal: When Steve was revealed for Smash it caused Twitter to crash. Yes, the entire site broke because Steve caused such a big reaction. It was hilarious and amazing to see live.

Sora from Kingdom Hearts is actually the MOST requested character in Smash for a long time hence the "Sora is finally here" bit. Gotta think how expensive it must've been to put a Disney related character into Smash.

I find it hilarious that you got Daisy in your reaction, who a lot of these trailer reactions miss, but didn’t get Piranha Plant, who actually has somewhat of a trailer 😂

Sonic has been in Smash since Brawl.

To give a general explanation of the connection between Xenogears and Xenoblade, After making Xenogears Tetsuya Takahashi and most of the other people who worked on the game left square because they were not allowed to make a sequel. The formed the studio Monolithsoft which was bought by Namco. Under Namco they made the Xenosaga series but they left Namco because they were not allowed to continue the series to the planned 6 games. They were then bought by Nintendo. Under Nintendo they made the Xenoblade series which is still ongoing. The Xenoblade games are not directly connected to gears or saga but they have some elements that are similar to them.

Really great video! I can’t believe the last smash bros game you played was 64! They definitely improved so much in the gameplay and by putting so much care and knowledge into all characters.

It’s really fun to see someone see this game for the first time (in years). It’s one of the best experiences a gamer can have.

The Joker trailer was incredible with context. The original version was played during The Game Awards 2018, which took place the day before Smash Ultimate came out. It actually references the show directly with alternate dialogue, and people thought it was some sort of special Persona 5 announcement.

So neat thing about the Min Min trailer. It had been the first time since smash bros 64 that they had captain falcon's voice actor come in to record more lines, which was just him slurping noodles

Sephiroth is actually a secret boss you can fight in Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2. I think most of the FF characters that appear in the story are from 6 and 7? Sora’s trailer was overall well received but also pretty divided. There were definitely people against his inclusion whether because he was another anime sword character or because of his association with Disney. But almost no one thought it could happen because of the supposed legal nightmare with Disney and Square. I didn’t even believe it would happen and I love Kingdom Hearts.

Joker was announced at the game awards, and in his trailer the characters talk about that but it was changed in that one to not mention it. I never realized they did that

23:38 I was just like you when this came out. Thank you so much Sakurai for introducing me to Dragon Quest. Dragon Quest 1 was one of the most enjoyable games that I got through in a few days. DQ11 is one of my top 3 games of all time. DQ2 is a challenge. And I can’t wait to play DQ3.

53:03 Yes there are Final Fantasy characters from several games, specifically 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10. I think the term "character" defines each of them far better than "cameo" even if some of their roles are smaller. 55:25 My favorite was Sora's, of course. I had anywhere from surface level knowledge to general awareness of every other character added and appreciated that their fans were happy (not enough to buy any unless friends or family requested a specific one) but Sora was the only one I had a connection to having played and replayed every single Kingdom Hearts game since the first released back in 2002 on the PS2. I pre-ordered the Sora DLC ASAP and immediately purchased Sephiroth to use as a punching bag. The whole trailer is great, references abound, but what really put a smile on my face for the whole day was seeing Sora fly around the reanimated Smash Roster with that giant wholesome grin on his face, and the use of the instrumental version of Utada's Simple and Clean (Japanese title: Hikari) during that scene certainly didn't hurt.

I can tell you were a true gamer back in the day 😂 the fact you mentioned Xenogears proved that for sure. It would be cool to see you react to some more modern video game trailers!

Trailers for "Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS" and "Super Smash Bros. for Wii U" (yes, those are their official titles) were done similarly to the ones for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Might be worth checking those out as well. Edit: Heck, if you know nothing about Smash Bros. since the 64 days, you might as well watch the Intro to Super Smash Bros. Melee, the announcement trailer for Super Smash Bros. Brawl, the cutscenes for Brawl's story mode, Subspace Emissary, and the World of Light trailer for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Even though you haven't played games in 20 years, you definitely recognize more characters and series than the average smash fan lol.

This game was so cool, my high school let us play it on the big screen at lunch times. We did lots of tournements. I remember watching the steve trailer in class. Everyone screamed and the teacher couldn't evem tell us off for it lol

53:26 I absolutely love this moment of his trailer, it's so perfect. Sora is a world hopping hero, he travels to different worlds in Kingdom Hearts. In KH2, a character writes a letter to him ending with "There are many worlds, but they all share the same sky. One sky. One Destiny." Sora means sky in Japanese, he's the sky bridging all worlds. This part in the trailer showing him in the center of the skies of worlds from different games is a great homage to the character and his lore.

6:00 In general the expanded "Everyone is here" trailer actually explains all the new rules - like the numbers representing the order specific character came to the game. Echoa being the "clones" - characters with different esthetics, but same mechanics and similarly working moves. Daisy's reveal your as actually used as part of that trailer. 8:25 Other big thing - most of those trailers were connected with reveal of other games. Like original reveal with release of Splatoon 2. This one with new Luigi Mansion game. The Isabelle one with new Animal Crossing game etc.

Oh this was fun seeing in my recommendations. And yeah glad you preluded with "I don't really know gaming outside of when I was a kid" because otherwise I would have been very confused by how many "I don't know them" reactions you had. Also lowkey plug but I have a video breaking down what my initial reactions were like if you want to hear someone who's been chronically gaming since he was 5 (I'm 27) talk about the hype this gave off.

Fun fact: the game lucas is from isn't actually officially playable in english. He's from mother 3, which was a japan exclusive sequel to earthbound (which is called mother 2 in japan). However, there is a fan translation patch for mother 3 available for download

This was fun to see from the perspective of someone who hasn't played the games in a while! It's amazing how Smash Bros perfectly blends old school with the cool new stuff! Years of experiences represented with so much heart and soul.

Chrom is from Fire Emblem Awakening and it isn't said like Chrome it's more like Krom.

If you do the final smashes, I recommend the evolution one from master of hyrule as it includes every fighter from smash 64 all the way to sora as well as show the evolution of each final from its debut in brawl to smash 4 to ultimate. Unlike most, this one actually has every final smash as most others tend to skip a few or are very outdated. I should specify that it's his most recent one, not the old one

Richter was from Castlevania Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night. Rondo of Blood was a standard Castlevania game on the Playstation 1 though was highly popular in Japan, meanwhile Symphony of the Night was heavily inspired by Super Metroid's map design, to the point where the 2 are considered to have invented the "Metroidvania" genre Chrom is from Fire Emblem Awakening, a 2013 RPG that popularized the traditionally only-selling-well-in-japan series worldwide. Dark Samus is from the Metroid Prime sub-series. Basically a mutated Metroid that after being almost killed by Samus changed form to replicate her abilities Isabelle is a major character from Animal Crossing New Leaf and New Horizons, acting as your assistant as you act as Mayor in New Leaf Incineroar is a Pokemon from Sun and Moon, its basically the Charizard of that game. He's based on the famous wrestler Tiger Mask. Sakurai stated he designed his moveset off of Zangiefs Joker. Persona 5 is an RPG featuring 'Joker' leading a team of his high-school peers going into the subconscious of corrupt people, and becoming thieves to steal their "Hearts" and make them admit their crimes. They also have the ability to summon demons based on their own souls to help them fight The Hero... or Heroes are from the Dragon Quest series of RPGs. It's a franchise so popular in Japan that the Government requested not to have games release on Weekdays because Government workers call in sick en masse. The Heroes are from 3 (the most iconic) 4 (The most popular in Japan) 8 (The most popular in the west) and 11 (The newest one) Byleth is from another Fire Emblem game, the latest at the time, Fire Emblem Three Houses. Byleth is a teacher at a school training 3 royal families and there aspiring armies, only to have to deal with the 3 kingdoms going to war. The Axe, Bow and Spear come from 3 royal families as well. The short chick he talks to is like a time goddess or something... a bit fuzzy on that part. Yeah the too many swordsmen complaint was abundant. Also the reason why Byleth turns into a girl is that you can choose whether to play the game as a male or female Min Min from arms. The entire gimmick of that game was everyone has incredibly stretchy arms similar to Dhalsim and you can switch out the Boxing Gloves. Min Min is a ramen shop owner whose litteral noodle arms can turn into a dragon. There was a massive online tournament where Players would be set up on Teams based on there favourite characters, and Team Min Min won. She also is the only character who kicks in game, which all likely contributed to her being chosen over the game's main character, Spring Man Pyra and Mythra from Xenoblade Chronicles 2. The Guy in the trailer is the playable character, and they basically turn into his Swords... yeah I don't fully get it but basically Sakurai wanted all 3 of them in the game, but couldn't figure out the specifics so he just gave the duo there own Swords to use and just had him called in for there Super Moves. If I know the backstory right Pyra's an Alternate personality of Mythra. Yeah... Ima need Xenoblade fan to fill in some gaps here....

Would be neat to look at the dmash 4 trailers as well. A lot of them are also pretty cinematic

Oh man, the much you missed since N64!! We went this wild since then. "Back in the day it would be crazy having mario and sonic beating each other". Well, back in our days as Zoomers we lost our minds when Sonic was announced for Smash Brawl for Wii in 2006. That was peak for us... Hoo boy, how the things has going since then. Smash Bros is just a huge Videogames Celebration, basically a Hall of Fame for the mosr iconic characters ever.

Dragon Quest hero was my most wanted character so when his trailer dropped I was screaming in the library while watching the livestream

the KenCineroar trailer contains a reference to "Evo Moment 37" you'll notice Ken cancels a parry directly into his super move? at Evo 2004, pro SF3:3S player Daigo was lpow on health and mad as fuck, but proceeded to perfectly parry an entire 13 hit combo and then cancel that into Ken's Shippu Jinraikyaku

Byleth and other player characters from Fire Emblem have had both a male and female version to choose from at the start of the game.

You Know I've read all of the comments and no one has mentioned that you skipped over the Parana Plant Trailer altogether. After the Incenaroar/Ken Trailer there was this trailer at the end of that direct. Among the community, he isn't the most popular character because most fans thought he took a spot from a much cooler character, such as Shadow the Hedgehog or Waluigi. Though both of these characters ended up as Assist Trophies, many fans wanted them to be upgraded to full character status.

Not sure if you knew, but starting with the reveal of Joker from Persona, all fighters were part of a paid expansion, in two different sets. Persona has a sizable fanbase full of people who’ve never played the game, so Joker getting in was big. Dragon Quest is bigger over in Japan from what I know, so Hero was cool but didn’t really get people talking much. Banjo was originally a Nintendo game before Microsoft bought the developers behind them, making it essentially an Xbox series, so Banjo coming to a Nintendo exclusive game like Smash was a huge deal. Terry’s series isn’t the most well known, so while people liked his inclusion, not many had been asking for it. Byleth is from Fire Emblem, a strategy RPG dating back to the NES era. Almost every game features a wholly different cast/world/story, so the franchise has A LOT of characters to pull from. It’s also only ever been on Nintendo systems, though they don’t develop the series themselves. Because of how many characters the series has, each Smash game would typically have a couple, changing out a few for each game. In Smash 4 (Ultimate is Smash 5), the controversy started as two characters from Fire Emblem Awakening, a game so big it literally saved the franchise, both were added, and then as part of the paid expansions, Roy (an FE character who had appeared in older Smash games) was added, as well as Corrin, who was the lead of a new game in the series. This meant Marth, Ike, Roy, Lucina, Robin, and Corrin were all in the game, despite Fire Emblem not being the biggest series. Then part of what made Ultimate special was that every character in the Smash’s history was brought back. And on top of all the FE characters already in the series, Chrom was added as an echo fighter to Roy. So when Byleth, the lead of the (at the time) newest Fire Emblem, was added, people went fucking ballistic. The director of Smash, an absolute hero by the name of Masohiro Sakurai, received literal death threats because of Byleth. Even though the common criticism of FE characters is how similarly they played, and Byleth brought wholly new mechanics. It’s important to note that while playable characters are the main form Smash uses to represent franchises, there’s also items usable in game, stages based on franchises, as well as collectible “spirits,” which are characters on card primarily used in the single player campaign of the game. And while Fire Emblem has an unusually high amount of playable characters compared to the series’ popularity, it has only a few stages, and notably, ONE item. The Legend of Zelda is a series more based around items than characters, and it has dozens of items from it in Smash. Meanwhile Fire Emblem is a series with over 600 characters, but not many iconic items. Also, that character count is NOT including the villains. Also the four most recent Fire Emblem games have a character who serves as a player stand-in, hence why Byleth can be male or female. Also the game they’re from goes hard and it baffles me anyone could be mad about it being in Smash, bunch of fucking manbabies. Min Min is from Arms, a pretty much dead series Nintendo tried to make work. She was likely added because it meant no complications with copyright. Meanwhile Sephiroth is exclusively complications with copyright. Sqaure Enix, owners of Final Fantasy, are notoriously possessive of their IPs, to the point that despite Cloud being in Smash, only two songs from Final Fantasy were added to the game. Minecraft Steve in Smash had been a meme for years prior to it happening, so when it was announced it completely broke Twitter. No, seriously. Pyra/Mythra are from Xenoblade Chronicles, which had a person who drew pornography as a character designer, if you couldn’t tell. They are one of the most obnoxiously overpowered characters in Smash, and them being the ones you play as makes no canonical sense, as in the game they power the blades that the protagonist wields. By the time Kazuya was added a lot of the hype around Smash was starting to fade, as it was now two and a half years after launch. So while cool, people were talking less and less. Sora was apparently the most requested character, and while I found him to be a boring final inclusion and incredibly annoying to play against in the game, I have to respect how hard it would’ve been to get him, as he’s owned by both Square Enix AND DISNEY.

Amazing video! You have no idea the hype everyone had every 3-4 months when Nintendo released each of those trailers back in 2019 - 2022. You should react to Super Smash Bros brawl cinematics for the story mode: Subspace Emissary. That’s epic! Greetings from Mexico :)

I saw on your channel bio you are starting get back into the world of gaming, so I was wondering do you plan on playing more games in the future or maybe reacting the lore of the video games? Some examples are Kirby which is wild, eldritch gods suicide and tragedies nothing youd expect, and the legend of Zelda timeline which can be very confusing but not nearly as bad as Kingdoms Hearts lore thats some wild crazy shenanigans!

And you're right about the character Incineroar. He is from Pokemon.

Smash hypw is/was it's own brand of insanity. Sajurai was able to get so many impossible characters into the game that your wildest character requests felt like they had a chance.

If you are wondering what Ridley, Dark Samus, and K. Rool's deals are... Ridley ate Samus's parents canonically for the thrill of it and is actually super smart, but shows himself as a beast for people's different perception of him. He can talk but doesn't. Sort of like how Killer Croc operates, except Ridley is not made redeemable or understandable in the slightest. Dark Samus is made of Phazon, a substance that is heavily mutagenic and deadly, as well as Samus's DNA, of which isn't something that just happens once. It happens a lot just like Samus's weapons being reset every game from some dumb explosion or assault, and just like how many times Ridley himself returns augmented with cybernetics, or rebuilt mechanically, or cloned, etc. King K. Rool was the first main boss enemy Donkey Kong had after the Original Donkey Kong series that was separated from Jumpman/Mario, with his own world and life. In the first Donkey Kong Country game, Cranky Kong was the original Donkey Kong, while the Donkey Kong we now know is Donkey Kong Jr. King K. Rool steals Donkey Kong's banana horde, and he doesn't even like bananas either. King K. Rool also is a bit unhinged and has a different personality for each other the original three Donkey Kong Country Games, and each Donkey Kong Country game in the original Super Nintendo series has a different lineup of Kongs. First game had Donkey and his nephew Diddy Kong, second one had Diddy and his girl Dixie Kong, and the third one had Dixie and her baby Sibling (or cousin I forget) Kiddie Kong. And the newer Donkey Kong Country games, Returns and Tropical Freeze, had new bosses than King K. Rool. The Tiki Tribe's Tiki Tong and Snowmads' Lord Fredrik respectively.

There are 89 characters in the game, depending on how you count. What was crazy about the Everyone is here one is that this brought back every character from every previous game, something that has never happened and some characters had been gone for a long time. Some of these trailers are huge deals. The biggest ones were Ridley, Simon/Richter (though it was leaked), King K. Rool, Banjo, Sephiroth, Steve (who apparently broke Twitter) and Sora who was the most requested since Melee, a huge deal that made many people cry. And Hero, for Japan at least. And then Piranha Plant was just wtf. Yeah everyone has a final smash if you turn on the item or meter for it. Isabelle is from Animal Crossing. Wish the trailers were the versions showing the x and the mural. Wish you'd watch some reactions to these reveals. The amount of sword fighters and Fire Emblem characters specifically have been a common complaint for Smash games. Sephiroth is considered to be really good. If he wasn't so light he'd be amazing.

Sephiroth is a secret boss in KH1 and KH2.

53:00 if I recall Sephiroth is a secret boss you can fight in kingdom hearts. Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy are obviously different games. Sephiroth is obviously in Kingdom Hearts because Square Enix developed the Kingdom Hearts games and Final Fantasy. So I guess they thought it would be cool to see Sephiroth fighting Sora. So the bit that I time stamped is a nod to that. So yes and no, Kingdom Hearts is separate from Final Fantasy but Sephiroth is in it as a Boss in those games.

Persona 5 is one of my favorite game I enjoyed playing having Joker in smash was a dream come true for me. Second Favorite is dragon quest because it made me feel like a hero when I go on an adventure my favorite skin are the luminary the default and Erdrick who looks like Goku

Well if you look at the official Smash tier list surprisingly Steve from Minecraft is at the top of the list, he’s literally the most broken character in this game, they didn’t have time to actually play test this character, they just released him onto this world, he can literally build with blocks, no other character can build besides Steve, he can use blocks to prevent him from getting launched and being killed, he can mine the stage for materials and craft better weapons that give him insane kill power and increases his frame data, his combos are like the easiest and one of the most broken in the game too, there was even a new glitch discovered that lets Steve cancel hit stun and basically interrupt your move with his own, this caused him to get banned from a lot of tournaments, it’s funny because he’s literally a block man. He has lots of glitches, a very buggy character, Smash isn’t even getting patched anymore so he’s just gonna stay this way until they do something in the next game
