this is such a weird feeling to see all these hate comments about you not getting Matpat's theories cuz if your in/was in the FNAF fandom you know a huge percentage of the fanbase hates Matpat and his theories with a PASSION. Like Matpat could just be spitballing random ideas and somebody will post it on twitter saying "bro is this guy dumb it doesn't even make sense" and it'll get 40k likes. Edit: Personally I don't have any strong opinions on MatPat's recent theories. All im saying is that it's so odd how FNAF fans are mad at Puffer for not liking MatPat's theories, even though FNAF fans don't like MatPat's theories.

Its funny how even the Fnaf fans hate matpat's fnaf theory videos. I remember so many people calling Matpat's dream Theory out and hating on it. This video is a perfect nutshell of what the fnaf community is. As a member of the FNAF fandom for 9 years, i would like to apologize for the behavior of these 6 year olds

I've been playing FNAF since I was 9 and I have always been a fan. Even though I got a little frustrated when you didn't get some things because you didn't listen or forgot something, I would never be this mad at someone trying to understand the most complex lore of all time. It took me like 3 years to understand it. Puffer tried to understand it in like 4 videos.

I’m sorry puffer, but it’s been a joy to see you try and comprehend fnaf lore, as a person been in the community since the beginning and watched all of Mat Pat’s videos as they came out. People who are only introduced to it now have to play catch up through the insanity that be fnaf lore, I truly feel sorry for them.

Seeing my username in the thumbnail gave me whiplash 😭. I was like, "Hold up, I didn't say that." LMFAO. Honestly, as someone who is a massive fan of this franchise. Thank you for being open to us even with those people being involved!

I’m not part of the community, but I’m interested in the lore. Now, the lore does change from one thing to another. Now I’ve been playing the games ever since day 1 and still It’s hard to follow the story (sometimes). There’s a story it can be followed, there’s a straight line, but there’s different pathways to take, and sure of which pathway you take the story can be just crazy. But at the end of the day I’m still a fan.

To be honest even without knowing anything about one piece. The adaptation is actually so good at story telling and explaining the background without spending too much time on it like the anime. I really think you'll enjoy the live action Puffer. Also I enjoyed your fnaf lore videos. Even if you didn't understand, which is okay. The lore for fnaf is mainly theory that the dev decided was cannon after the theory came out.

I feel like the Fnaf community comprises of 2 kinds of people. 1) Young Toxic kids who like it and will argue if someone says something about the game they don’t like. and 2) People who got into Fnaf as a kid and still like it to this day (like me) who just watch and play it and don’t get into petty arguments It’s really sad seeing some of those comments cause those are the type of people to ruin a fandom, game, or anything else that people get into for someone. I love how so many FNAF fans treat MatPat as god because he got a few things right in 2014.

As someone who has been a part of FNAF since the very beginning almost 10 years ago, still loves the series to death and (probably) always will.. NOBODY fully understands the lore, the game's story has always been a bit of a mess, even the good parts.. and has become near impossible to clearly follow and make sense of thanks to new entries.

I'm gonna say this as a huge FNAF fan that does NOT like MatPat's content, I feel like the select group of people that all but 'worship' MatPat and his theories are among the most toxic in the community, unironically. People can't seem to understand that MatPat does his things by doing two things: Taking the information given in every bit of FNAF content created (Books, Games, and Comics or whatever), and then goes to the extremes to create his theories. There's nothing wrong with his content, but people take it WAY too seriously, and then have fits when someone tries to tell them they're wrong. The biggest thing that a lot of people, both in and out of the fandom, do is try to link the games to the novel series. The series (including The Silver Eyes, The Twisted Ones, and The Fourth Closet), are part of a separate universe from the games. Now I am not sure about the other comics and stuff, but the simplest way to look at it would be to say that the games (at least before Security Breach) were part of their own universe, excluded from all the phantasmal stuff added into those novels. Just as in all areas of life, most people can't handle between told they might be wrong, even if they are. So it's an endless cycle. Thankfully, for FNAF lore and whatnot, it's harmless banter at the end of the day, and is hilarious to watch unfold. But yeah, they take it way too seriously.

im kinda a fnaf fan, but ive only seen it through mark, i never watched matpats videos, but i can understand how people are mad at his reaction, but 1. everyone has their opinion and 2. puffer wasn't into fnaf from the beginning, so having all the bs add ons it would be confusing. only thing i would have to say about the react video is sometimes puffer would pause to question something but then it would get answered, so had he been a little more patient he would've figured that out, again nothing wrong with that. He is a react channel, he is going to pause and question things or comment on things thats what they do. I am somewhat in the fnaf fandom as I like mysteries and lore and have been trying to figure out fnaf since the first game and I still can’t wrap my mind around what is or isn’t cannon. Though Scott Cauthen did say he’s bad with dates and stuff like that hence it’s weird release times and I think he sometimes genuinely forgets what he’s written or wants to expand and change it his liking but also I think the publishers get a say too.
