i saw some of chat saying they don't like the repetitiveness of the chorus but thats what i feel makes the song so emotional. repeating that your relationship will be a fine line. then repeating that you'll be alright even though it's a fine line. like that hurts for real.
I feel like the repitition is like having to reassure yourself over and over… he has to outline the relationship and reasuer himself they will be alright enough for him to believe it
to the people who said fine line is mid. i need to talk to you🙂 because fine line is one of harry’s best song and the build from beginning to end is just superb. whenever i feel sad i just played this, literally never fails. and this song live, oh God.👌🏻
Fine Line is the end of the album. It’s the experience. The feeling. Emotions are a fine line. Love/hate. Like/love. Happy/sad. Its a fine line. Different sides of the same coin. Harry’s 1st album is a masterpiece in lyrics. Would love to see you do Ever Since New York or Meet Me in the Hallway or Two Ghosts.
Brilliant reaction and just subscribed. This song means so much to fans. Harry said writing the album he had some of the best times of his life and also some of the worst. This song is an absolute masterpiece. You simply must watch this live from Edinburgh night 2. I was there night one so didn’t see it live. It’s just on another level and his high notes live brings me to tears every time. Everyone says it’s the performance of fine line in the entire tour ! It really hits you. Also you simply have to react to falling live at the Brits 2020. He was robbed at knifepoint in London a few days before and also his ex who he’d stayed friends with took her own life a few days before and the emotion he sings with is outstanding!
This is just one of those songs that even though the tone is somber and melancholy, it goes so hard and you can feel it in your whole body. At least for me.

Omg i clicked so fast when i got this notification!! Fine line is my favourite harry song so you started off peak! That being said he doesnt have a bad one. Given your love for great lyrics i would rcommend the following harry songs for you to react to: Matilda, She, From the dining table, Kiwi, Adore you (full music video), Cinema, Little Freak. If you do listen to all of these i think you will be startled by the array of different genres harry has covered. The vibes are immaculate! Also Style by Taylor Swift is about Harry so you would enjoy that having been reacting to Taylor already, ive been loving your reactions to her. Looking forward to more of both Harry and Taylor!

Btw that spreading you open line isn't what u think or these people say. this is such a vulnerable song. he uses metaphors & metaphorically it means making someone being open to you or being vulnerably & emotionally open to you. This song is not sexual at all. His Wordplay is great. All u need to do is understand his use of metaphors.

The song was cool live but it didn’t compare to hearing it as the album closer. Especially recommend it while driving. Fine Line is meant to be heard from the first track to the last and this is the perfect end.
