Reacting to Henk Poort & Emma Heesters Vivo Per Lei on Beste Zangers 

Emma Heesters (pronounced like "Hays-ters") is a RU-vid princess. She has almost 2 million subscribers to her channel. And, she's already doing pop covers with American RU-vidrs, as well. Plus, she's talking to an American recording company about signing with them, which would bring her much wider commercial exposure in the States. Her father is a music teacher, and she performed with her mom in their local amateur musical theater company while she was growing up. So, she has both formal musical training and some stage experience. She's new to most of us but not new to music, at all. One of the other commenters here suggested listening to her Beste Zanger's cover of Floor Jansen's own song, "Strong", which she performed so beautifully and movingly that even Floor cried. Yes, Vivo Per Lei (I Live For Her) is an Italian song, originally performed by Andrea Bocelli and Georgia Todrani In 1995. It’s covered in many languages including Spanish, but for me the Italian version is the best. This performance by Henk Poort and Emma Heesters is one of the best!!

Henk Poort has lived in Italy for 15 years 😎 And has met Andrea Bocelli in a venue, and they talked about Henk being a Baritone who sang Tenor on many occasions, so Bocelli was suprised and wanted to work with Henk. But Henks management f*cked it up 👀

Season 12 was a good season for #BesteZangers. Henk's other songs are worth checking (including his flamenco Despacito version), Tim Akkerman did a great Miserables cover (in Dutch), Emma got Floor into tears with her "Strong" ballad...
